Sally 4 months ago It's a good rehab to go to get more tools for recovery, they don't allow you to get a job, keep your cellphone, or even have visitors because of the fact stupid people kept finding ways to bring drugs and alcohol on the property.. so yeah it's highly strict but it has to be.. addict's shouldn't be completely comfortable with recovery it's part of growth.. recovery addict are comfortable or slacking responsibility eventually it only kills them because they relapse back where they left off... However I gave it 4 Stars because of the fact they have a certain amount of food they follow to feed the client and if you have no money you basically can't buy extra snacks or drinks from there vending machines.. no gyms, no pools, no treatment for trama, the nurses don't even check to make sure they are prescribed the medication correctly through out the day you have to go to your counselor to get anything done they don't believe you or have time to listen to the client.. Staff definitely could make some improvements.. as for cleaning or taking out the trash or even doing community service is all done by the client.. I stayed in White House til moved to Brick House we clients worked hard to keep it clean, safe and even welcoming to the New Members.. Truthfully everything is based on the Clients behavior and following the Structure Rules.. We are Addict's our life became unmanageable due to our addiction.. Having responsibility teach You how to get a solid foundation back in your life before you are discharged.. when you graduate they will help you get into a halfway house or sober living but the one they sent me to in Knoxville TN is definitely not a good place to go.. integrity halfway house is highly disgusting, creepy bedbug's, crappy hot water heater, $175 a week, and they don't even give a damn if you get back on your feet all they care about is how much money they are making off you nothing else matters.. anyway I hope this report helps you on making a decision on your Best interest William Watkins 5 months ago Went to Howenwald campus approx 12-27-22. wanted to stay on med assist so the sent me Clarksville campus. I had a peer that also came from howenwald was like 2 wks ahead of me. After 30 days i think you can work, have your vehicle, you keep your own meds 3days worth then4 days for a wk. They do count daily. When i first got to Clarksville, they help you with food stamps, you can get walmart groceries delivered. The house i was in was 1 of 3 in a cul de sac. about 15 min from office. Descent 3br 2 ba homes a few yrs old in typ subdivision. Counselors were very helpful and caring. The head lady was having an affair with a peer. The housing next to office are older and thats where they put u when u first get there. There were a few bugs at the 1 hse basement floor not infested. They had descent foam mattresses. All the houses i was in had smart tvs in lr. There were 2 fridges per hse and a dedicated stand up deep freeze. All in all had a very good experience. Still clean to this day 8/8/25. Havnt been to sub dr since oct or nov 24. Still have a few left. I tapered myself down i was on 2 a day in buff vall. Only took 1 or 1. 5. Last dr visit i was down to taking 1/4 or less. Take a small piece every other or 3 sometimes less. I recently lost my mom last month. It was definitely worth the time and effort to get clean so I could care for her the last cpl yrs. I give Buffalo Valley 2 middle fingers up. Probably owe them my life. And Thank You Brent Andrew Morgan, for the ride and helping me get in and even helping with clothes, underwears, and toiletries. I have been here off and on for over 10 yrs. I have never felt rudely treated and I've NEVER received any care but the best from the office staff. I only left to follow one of their psychologists to another city. The only way you'd run out of your prescriptions is if you didn't talk to your psychiatrist at your last appt before your next meds. are due. I've done this but it's always been my fault AND the staff has tried to help. At one appt for an unknown reason I started feeling lightheaded and weak. The staff came immediately to my aide. They took care of my car staying parked there and they called Lawrence County (I believe Senior Care). A van came to get me and drove me home (not in the city of Lawrenceburg). My psychiatrist called to check on me the next day. These are the people I've dealt with from Centerstone. I'd refer anyone to them because I know they do care and they work hard at their jobs! I sought treatment in April of this year and it has changed my life. I finally was able to get sober from alcohol after 12+ years of misery. This place is different than other rehabs. They actually help you understand why you drink/use and get to the root of the problem. The classes work magic, the staff are top tier., the therapy is extremely helpful. After my treatment I was released to Bradford Health Services for "intensive outpatient" classes. Allison Neal and Melissa Wisdom are 2 employees at this facility. I have to say that they show more care and gave more help to me, than anyone in my entire recovery. They truly blessed my walk. And if it wasn't for them, I would have relapsed a couple of times. Sky L 2 months ago I struggled with Xanax addiction for a couple years & I went to Genesis November 8, 2023 & spent 4 days. I tried weaning off myself & had seizures. So, I went to Genesis & the Experience was awesome. They kept me comfortable & I have been Xanax free sine November 8, 2023. Fast forward to this year & I checked myself into Genesis once again February 9, 2026 & spent 6 days coming off of Kratom 7oh!!! This drug is extremely addictive & dangerous! 7oh is sold in gas stations & vape shops & is sold as Kratom, however I can honestly say it is NOT KRATOM!! I have taken Kratom in the past & it was nothing like this! This garbage had me hooked the 1st time I tried it. It was extremely bad as I spend a lot of money over the past several months using this for pain & energy. Just like I did with Xanax, I tried weaning off of it, but I couldn't. The withdrawals are horrible!!! They say it's 13x stronger than morphine & I believe that!! They call it "gas station heroine" for a reason. However, I wasn't aware of that until I was already hooked. The lady at the vape shop recommended them & that's the only reason I tried them. Once again, Genesis helped me by keeping me comfortable through the withdrawal symptoms. They were minor with the treatment the Dr's ordered for me. If you're on the 7oh I highly recommend you coming here for treatment & I highly recommend you to NEVER try it if you haven't already. I'm working with my governor & congress to get it out of TN!!!! The only bad things I can say are if the Dr orders Phenergan (I've taken it for at least 20yrs) the nurses will make you take zofran first for nausea & then you must wait 2hrs before they will give you the medicine you need! Also, the cafeteria food is horrible!!! Thankfully Genesis has soup, sandwiches (the cafeteria brings them, ham or turkey) chips, protein bars, granola bars, a refrigerator full of Pepsi products & Sundrop, ice cream in the freezer, cookies, etc...so you won't go hungry. Also, you get a cigarette break every hour on the half hour. I highly recommend them if you're struggling with any type of addiction. Again, NEVER TAKE 7OH!!!!!!! Back to my friend. While she was running, theirs zero stability sleeping n cars w her very violent Methed crazed boyfriend. he used her to get resources from her loved ones thru her. She was now addicted too & so ashamed. She dig her hole deeper with him right inside her ear! She lost custody of her minor child then once news of her moms death came, She wanted death! Not realizing how close meth already had her. She welcomed anything that offered her EXIT doors from that jail..Later, her mind wud clear and truth shined into the darkness that was her life, She explained her earlier days to me. Back to.that EXIT DOOR THEY'D BN EYEING.Her and another Inmate devised a sort of "EXCAPE PLAN" to be released to the usual court appointed REHAB & simply disappear from there BACK ON THE RUN. Only God intervened. Her family found a new REHAB when she was released for RESTORATION RANCH they drove her straight from our state to Alabama. All was well until around 4 or so wks in. She wrote me a diff kind of letter. What her letter said to me, The young lady who wrote her opinion on review of the program calling R.R. "BULL**** & WONT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY" is why I give this review. That bad review stirred my memory back to that different kind of letter my friend wrote me!! It was full of this near exact same wording! Down to Ive tried my best but THIS IS B.S. and I wudnt send anyone here so come get me now! I saw a pattern. Wait ur mom and I "rescued" u from the last rehab too. Lol She sure pulled at all my heart strings. See, Her mom told me something that stuck with me." she had stood in God's way for her childs whole life "even now in late 30s. She said this was the very 1st time she told her child NO. She told me she stood in God's way too long. She gave me a mandate b4 passing. She said make sure everyone knows she never lost faith. Her daughter stayed there and OMG what a powerful life changing experience she had. She speaks nothing but amazing things. It changed her in her core. We.drove together to her graduation. I even saw a famous person graduating along with her. She has shown me many warning signs since then, with my own kids. Later on, I mentioned that one letter she wrote n early days. She was WOWED by how far she had come since participating at this place rightly named RESTORATION Ranch. She told me she.was mad at the process and she was sooo rebellious and wouldve done and said anything to run away again bc thats all she'd ever done. This was her first accomplished thing in life that she saw thru. She just didnt like to follow rules and they gave them a planned out day. She laughed abt the letter later on. I loved how up front she was. I learned alot. I did relapse in 2002 . My youngest son was killed and the emotional support wasn't here where I lived.
