A little over four months ago I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Deer Hollow Sober Living and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). I had actually attended a different residential treatment facility in Salt Lake for roughly two months and was informed that their sober living was being closed. This turned out to be one the most impactful and positive things that happened to me in early recovery as it ultimately led me to Deer Hollow. I now have just over six months sober and can attest that their entire team, from ownership to clinicians to program coordinators to house managers, genuinely care about the well-being and lasting recovery of their clients. They maintain a long-term focus to help ensure every client has the best chance of ongoing success after you leave the structured environment of sober living / IOP, which from my past experience is a rare quality among treatment programs. Being in an IOP program especially can sometimes seem monotonous and repetitive after a w

When I got to Deer Hollow, I was a mess. I was on the edge of life and death and Deer Hollow pulled me out of the darkness and showed me the light. The therapy and groups taught me how to love and respect myself again as well as how to live a normal life being clean and sober. I attended the inpatient and outpatient treatment as well as Deer Hollows sober living. This place saved my life and I am forever grateful for the entire expierence and opportunity to be able to go through Deer Hollow!

I had the privilege of working with Montana. She made the intake process easy and met me where I was at.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Austin, who made the intake process relaxed and chill, and I felt safe.
I met the doctor on my first day who was through and knew what he was doing, and he got me on medications that worked!
I have had the privilege of working with Shannon, who is phenomenal. She is the kind of gal who knows what’s up and will tell you the truth in the most honest and loving way. She led classes that were beneficial and educational.
Jake is a fantastic therapist, and you are blessed if you are on his caseload. He is a man full of knowledge, wisdom and empathy. I’ve never worked with a male therapist before and I felt safe within our first session.
Heather who handles case management is doing God’s work. No seriously. She answered all my questions, made sure all of my outside stuff was handled and made discharge planning a breeze.
Process group is essential in my opinion and Ami, Kelli, Will and Jake made me feel at ease sharing.

Also, the mentors are terrific. Kelsie, Sara, Hans and Austin made a positive impact on me during my time at Alpine and I cannot thank them enough. They are living proof that sobriety is achievable and that the light comes back.

Treatment only works when you genuinely want to be there and are willing to accept help. I credit Pathways—and the people in my life who convinced me to go—with saving my life. I wanted and needed the help, and they provided the kind of empathetic yet challenging environment that helped me overcome decades of destructive thought patterns and behaviors.
Everyone I worked with, from house staff to the CEO, was supportive beyond expectations, all focused on the main goal: helping me to help myself get better.
Pathways is voluntary, you do not "get fired". If you have conflict with staff or other clients, it is the best place to be since trained staff and supportive peers are there to help. It's the whole point.
For any peers that remember me: I wish you all the best--you're amazing!
For staff: Thank you from the deepest parts of my soul for the difference you've made in my life.

Look no further, this is the place. Coming to Wasatch Recovery was the BEST decision I ever made. For years I had been desperately trying to change my lifestyle and pull myself out of addiction without success. Wasatch changed everything for me. The therapists are extremely qualified and very intuitive. I learned so much from them and the rest of the staff. They taught me how to align myself with the best version of myself, to love myself, to practice integrity, to be honest, to serve and uplift others, to be accountable, and gave me so many tools to grow and heal not only while I was there but things I still use now 10 months out of rehab.
The staff are passionate about their jobs and about the mission of Wasatch. You can feel that their hearts are in it. I had never been to a treatment program where the owner shows up as much as Mark does. You can feel that he has a deep love for all of the clients and he and his team work hard to provide the best care possible. We are grateful.and feel blessed that my mother Marilyn White was welcomed to St. Joseph's Villa on October 3,2024. Unfortunately her entry started out with a mishap in the case of a missing valuable & sentimental personal artical of clothing. On this same day she arrived to the villa she had just been released from the U of U hospital and I have confirmed with their staff that she departed wearing the same items that she arrived by ambulance in . Having days earlier just taken of the tags in total value equaling over $79.00 of my hard earned money. I sent her to wear it for the first time to the U of U emergency & then onto St Joseph's so that she would feel comfortable & confident in a hospital setting. Upon arrival to St. Joseph's she recalls very clearly that the attending nurse on staff at that time helped her off with her blouse & into a hospital gown. This item has since been missing from her closet in RM.1236. I have been told that it could possibly be in laundry but that was over 4 days ago W/ no sign of it nor real help with return.
Please address this issue of valued personal item missing or (taken ? ) because it is so upsetting to my Mother and I and we can not afford to replace it. Also so that the return of it would sucure our faith in your staff and facility with out having a sence of loss.
I hope to post very positive review in resolution to this personal & ethical matter!

I attended the Optimal Aging Program for 3 weeks at HMHI. I would highly recommend it to fellow seniors who are struggling with anxiety and depression. The OAP combines psychiatric care with group, art, music and recreational therapy and many opportunities to socialize with staff and participants. The small group of 6 participants allows for plenty of personal attention, tracking and feedback. The feeling of not being alone in the journey towards mental health and stability is invaluable. Interaction with all the staff was supportive, caring, attentive and often lots of fun and shared enjoyment. I highly recommend this program.

James Mason Centers of Recovery specializes in the treatment of substance abuse, mental health, alcoholism and dual diagnosis. JMCR philosophy is to offer teens and their families a solution, healing, and a new beginning. JMCR was foun | Treatments Payment Options | Past client here, I spend almost two months at JMCR and during that time I was able to make so much progress to become the person I always wanted to be. JMCR allowed me to see my strengths and find love for myself, It taught me just how compassionate I really am and the impact that I have on others. Reggie and his team are experts in their field and work tirelessly (with love) to affect positive change in their clients. I remember on one occasion some of the staff were just reflecting on the emotional energy of time and tears started to well in their eyes. They told us how they just want the best for us and truly were expressing just how much they cared. Where other treatment programs might be punitive, JMCR takes a different approach to build you up with respect and compassion to help you find your strengths. Nothing could have helped me more than how JMCR helped me. I will be thankful for it for the rest of my life and I will never forget the people I met along the way! It’s important to note that I tried other treatment centers and they didn’t quite work… GO WITH JMCR you won’t regret it!

As a military member, I was hesitant to go to a military facility. I spent 30 days on the 5th floor and it was the best experience (therapy wise) of my life. The staff was incredible and listened to your needs and sometimes, they didn’t even need to listen…they just saw and adjusted for you. I went in never feeling worthy, I came out KNOWING I am worthy! Thank you Kim, Jenn, Catherine, Brigette and Maggie. Love yall so much!

It has been 2 years since my time at The Phoenix. I can honestly say they saved my life. I didn’t know how they could possibly help me since I had already done some extreme treatments for my debilitating depression and SI. I started in residential and altogether spent about 5 months in their care. It took me working the steps and being accountable along with their care and I know I would not be here if it wasn’t for the help I received from their awesome staff. I still implement the skills I was taught there and refer back to the workbook we used. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff are amazing they all care and didn't allow me to cross boundaries which is what I needed to start living in my values. Like any program u will get out what u put in. They won't make u be sober and get better we have to make our selves happy and healthy. Amazing program though, highly recommend Steps for people serious about sobriety and loving themselves.
