Was there today and had a wonderful experience with the best staff thank you very much I really appreciated!

As a Veteran with a 100% disability rating, I have been a regular patient at this VA healthcare facility for the last eight years. During every visit, the medical and clinical personnel have consistently delivered superior care. I always receive my prescriptions through the mail punctually, as guaranteed. The staff are welcoming and devote time to offer support and respond to inquiries.

Went for consult for a sleep study and follow up.

Friendly staff. My doctor always lets me ask all the questions I have, and the front desk people are very nice.

Outdated but great physicians and staff.

This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful. The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

This place is the best!!!! I was at HCRC for a little over a year and many issues with them during that time. BHN has been so accommodating with me so far,and Bonnie's so nice!!!

I've posted a few comments what's important is that the program works they now let u smoke bud also something alot of us worried about for take-homes but things WILL NOT always go your way I guess my advice to myself and others is simply keep going even if it gets rough and feels hard keep going even if you know your clean and a test says otherwise false positives or whatever they might be, just know that in the long run it is saving your life!!

Nursing staff is great..work the program and itll work for you

this place has actually helped me so much, iv been here 2 times and have saved me from suicide and i’m so thankful ful there’s a place like this, the nurses there and the patients make you feel as if you have a loving family they are actual miracles, thank you four winds w.w.w.w

To start, the grounds were beautiful, an extremely serene atmosphere. The housing units seemed very comfortable for the clients and the staff were very accommodating & considerate to visitors. We had an over two hour drive to get there and they made us feel very welcome during our visit. The check in process for visitors was much more inviting than other places we have been to, the staff was very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend for anyone in this situation.

My son went here. Was the best place. The staff really helped him come out of his shell. He's smiling and laughing again. The staff was incredible and made this transition go smoothly. He got set up with a counselor before he left, and also set up home care. This facility saved my child and help me communicate better with him. Highly recommend for mental health. Plus the staff will keep you informed every step of the way

They have really great therapist doctors and counselors they have Helped me cope with many different issues and provide me with The best coping skills and have a wonderful staff very friendly caring supportive.

This is a quality clinic, no doubt. The process is simple, and they really help you. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctors are fantastic, everyone here is professional and friendly. Thank you all for your attention and help.

Been going here since 2016 my mom went there too. Never have I had a disrespectful worker there, they treat you with kindness with in reason. My therapists are always and still go out of their way to help me in most facets of my life, their jobs is to help you with your mental illness not to find jobs or to do the work for you. And in that respect sometimes they go above and beyond. I had one bad experience with a newer therapist but they asked me if I wanted a new one and they gave them to me I’ve had two others and they are the best. Even my doctor from there is awesome. They even let me change my psychiatrist. So in my experience this place with all its programs is one of the best. And I still go there and will continue. If there are any problems you caused them yourself….

I’ve been going here since my suicide attempt in May of 2017 and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the doctors I have. I’d never been able to find a therapist I clicked with until I got here (Miklos). I will admit that I endured a couple years of suffering under the spacey and aggressive rule of Dr Mittol, who used the threat of withholding refills to force me into bending to his arbitrary rules, but I was able to switch to a better psychiatrist, and once that one retired I was sent to an even better one (Dr Mantas) who I am so pleased with. I’ve even started seeing the primary care here (Dr Ferro) so I have all my needs available in one building, and I have to say he too is probably the most personable and attentive PCP I’ve ever had. It’s always clean and everyone has always been pleasant. Very little funding and care is allocated to health care in this awful country, in general, so this is of course going to be especially true for mental health services, which aren’t taken as seriously by really anyone. It is because of this national systemic problem that I think someone may have struggles getting an appointment or finding the doctor who is right for them. The benefits of this field aren’t grand, so I do truly believe the people working here are doing so because they are passionate about what they do. Some doctors are jerks (like my old psychiatrist), but please try to remember that the people here are also constantly being obstructed from providing full care by our privatized, for-profit health care system.

Slow service needs a solution

service is good overall but the front doorbell does Not work at all and you have to shake the door to try and get someone to answer it. very frustrating especially if no one can hear you at the front desk. it's been this way for months and the employees just say it won't be fixed. clearly an error on SUNY management's part

This is the best place for in person counseling

I've been working with Michelle for just about a year or maybe a bit longer. She is patient, kind and skilled at asking me deeper questions to help me gain confidence and self approval. I've noticed a lot of positive feedback since working with her.

I've seen my counselor for nearly two years. She is phenomenal, and has been a rock for me while other changes in my life felt completely crazy. She has helped me to grow into a stronger person, and helped me immensely. I highly recommend Integro Counseling for anyone searching for Counseling Services in the Capital Region.

The staff of the program were tremendously helpful in assisting me with meeting my recovery goals. They provided case management services to ensure that I took care of myself while I was receiving treatment from opiod use.
