I drank everyday for 17 years following my return from service overseas. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs as well as the others I met in residential treatment. They definitely were able to reach the root of my alcohol addiction and help put forth a plan for my continued success. I am almost 3 months sober and truly haven't felt better in my life. There really are no words for how incredibly wonderful Newport was for my child. She went in with so many struggles and came out with a completely different attitude and coping skills to deal with the hard times. They were very good. They helped me when I was at my lowest. They worked together to distract me. I awoled a lot, people probably say I was supposed to go there but I did. They truly helped me. The therapists are also really good, and well trained. I really can’t call out just one person, because they all came together to support me.

I cannot speak more highly of Newport. I read negative reviews when considering sending my 12 year old. I was terrified. No parent wants to do this, let alone drop their kid out of state. It was a horrible decision but we decided to take the leap for fear that her life may be over if we didn’t. (Or that she would never move past the pain she was in, at best…)
Our experience was wonderful. Newport treats the kids like they matter. The rooms are cozy and more home-like, which warmed my mama heart. This place is what I wish all crisis intervention places are like, but sadly are not. Children deserve better. Newport does it right.
My child is better off for having been through the program. She came back with tools and a better outlook. We then got her in a therapeutic school and I’m happy to say she’s thriving! I’ll never say it isn’t a journey. She still struggles here and there. But we are light years beyond what we hoped for back then and I attribute quite a bit to the care she got at Newport. She would agree and that says something …

After years of searching for answers with numerous psychiatrists, we finally found Dr Rehman. Based on his reviews, we decided to try one more time for help with our son who has a dual diagnosis of Aspergers/ADHD and depression/anxiety. Several psychiatrists have focused more on the depression/anxiety, which lead to less effective treatments. Within one session, the correct diagnosis was addressed!! It made a night and day difference!! We are beyond thrilled to see the ‘fog’ cleared and our son’s personality and spirits lifted . My experience was great since the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted wonderfully. I was taken to the PHP house after checking in and provided a room with ease. I felt welcome the whole time I was there. It all made sense from the morning meetings to the evening meetings. Everything and everyone was there as scheduled and I received all type of recovery care with in minutes of requesting it. The Freedom Center goes above and beyond for acommadations. It has made me a better Anthony and I will forever be greatful to The Freedom Center.
Remember all, just trust the process and take it one day at a time. By the end, the scariest part is going back to the normal life.

I never knew urgent medical care could be provided with so much caring empathy, and investment in the patient's wellbeing.
The last few days I've basically lived at the VHC. My mom had a quadruple bypass. During the procedure my dad had to go to the emergency room for severe chest pains. Every step, every nurse, every doctor, were incredibly invested in the health and well-being of my parents.

I have been going to Savida since 12/24 and it has been such a nice journey for my recovery. The office is always clean and stocked up with snacks. Donna-Fe is so sweet and very helpful. Appointments are always very well scheduled with little to no wait time to see the providers. Art is a great counselor. He listens so well to you, I wish the sessions were longer, that's how good of a counselor he is. Kyle Jones has been my Physician and he is very sweet, a good listener and always asks how one is doing besides just prescribing medications. I have also seen Stephanie Rutherford who has been injecting my Vivitrol shots. She is also very sweet and knows her stuff. I have come a long way with Savida and it has been such a great experience this time around in my recovery. This place definetly makes you feel welcomed and accepted.

I just came there for MRI, the staff there were unremarkable. They warm and welcoming attitude were very encouraging especially the lady that put the IV line on my hand and male Tech/staff that did my MRI. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾.

I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.

I’ve been at Insight for five years and have been able to grow professionally and as a clinician. I stay at Insight because I love it here. I have the freedom to set my own schedule and am encouraged to be as creative as possible. As therapists we’re often working with difficult situations. Even so, there is an atmosphere of joy and laughter in the office – one that our clients feel as well. When my close family members have asked me where they should go for therapy, I’ve referred them to Insight Into Action Therapy.

An excellent house to go if you're in need of mental health care. Unlike going to a hospital psyche ward, where the nurses are just waiting for their shift to end and the doctor talks to you quickly and writes some prescriptions and rushes you out to see the next patient, the entire staff focuses on you. From the doctor, to the counselors and even the cooking staff, they focus on every patient as an individual and get deeply involved in your case. A very warm, cozy, welcoming environment, nice rooms and bathrooms, and excellent food. It's like a second home you can collect yourself and gather your thoughts and prepare for the outside world again. I highly recommend.

A real life saver. I have PTSD, amongst other things, and the folks here helped me learn how to survive with it. One staff member helped me through one of the worst flashbacks I have ever suffered. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, there is no shame in letting someone save you.

I just want to share how grateful I am for my experience at Ryan Rehabilitation. Sebastian has been incredibly helpful from the very beginning — patient, supportive, and always willing to answer questions. The whole staff has been kind and understanding, and they’ve truly helped make this process so much less stressful. You can tell they genuinely care and understand that we’re already going through something difficult, and they never add to the pressure. Instead, they do everything they can to support us.
I also want to highlight Mr. Calvin. He is amazing — such a kind, patient man who creates a safe space for everyone while still encouraging us to grow, learn, and move forward. His guidance and compassion mean a lot during a challenging time.
