I was placed in mandatory treatment by DCYF 20 years ago and agape worked very hard to interface with the agency and helped me get my required classes done. Very accommodating staff, very flexible, and I understand that the attitude and quality of the staff is the same or better at this time. Best experience that ever happened to me. I was so frustrated in the beginning, i didn't think it was anything but a waste of time. But I ended up with a family who I could feel comfortable to let my guard down and just be me.I grew so much there, made wonderful connections and my counselors were not judgemental and really put my recovery first without making me feel worse than I already did.I never expected to get anything out of it when I started. But because of the support I received, and the positive attitude there, I I'll never forget the care I received. No guilt tripping, just honesty. It changed my life from being severely suicidal, to wanting to live again. I now look forward to a healthy lifestyle and self-esteem, and have learned to look forward to my future. Thank you Cascadia staff for giving me hope to live again. Forever grateful for all of you.

Best thing to ever happen to me, the staff are amazing and the food is better then what I eat at home. Ive been here three times and every time things have gotten better. I would consider most of the staff friends. I wish I had the words for this place but I dont. I do wish they had more staff available each shift and med providers and counselors at location. Allowing patients more social interaction. The unit is very boring at times but it has all the love you could ask for. Now dont get me wrong sometimes staff can be gruff at first but they are only like that cuz they care so much about the clients. Food is available 24/7 their are hot showers with shampoo and conditioner. They serve coffee tea hot chocolate water and juice all day. They also try to take clients on nature walks. This place was designed to help people who feel like they have nothing left to live for and to provide hope and support and it does all of that. Three times I could have died if it weren't for CTF.

I’m so happy and glad that there is an Ophthalmology service here nearby. I live at NAS Whidbey Island, and even though the drive was far, the service was worth it. It took me a couple times to work with the right people who can do the perfect work that doesn’t require rework. Had to fill out some paperwork myself too. Not all staff members know the same thing. Certainly there’s a big knowledge gap among members within a bandwith of around 2 to 3 months after I come back for the same service. The galley here was good, offers good tasty food, though if you live on the Barracks and have your news taken out of your paycheck, it wouldn’t work here. In other words, you have to pay out-of-pocket. That’s the downside for living in different command and traveling here for a medical appointment. Meals are out of pocket and you may have to speak with a LPO.

Olalla was a life changing experience and gave me the tools I needed to get and stay sober. Kevin, my counselor, is an amazing and compassionate person who guided me through the recovery process. The Olalla staff are kind and patient and were always willing to give me the help I absolutely needed. The treatment center is located on was a hilltop forest overlooking Puget Sound, which is incredibly beautiful and the perfect environment for recovery. Walking the trail surrounding the property every morning was awesome. The food is wonderful and there is lots of it. I was at Ollala back in March of 2024 for a 28 days inpatient stay. It was the best decision of my life., and credit this experience and all I learned about addiction and myself for my continued sobriety today.The entire experience here at Ollala was incredible. My name is Jo and i have to tell you, Hotel California gave me my life back. i was so lost in my addiction to alcohol and marijuana, i lost my self as a mother, a partner, and my own self identity. Hotel helped me rediscover me again, they helped me to build a routine and to fill the time i was using, numbing, with meetings, new connections, and purpose. I found Jo again! The staff is wonderful, I got frustrated at times, mostly when I wasn't wanting to listen or accept change. If you truly work the program, you will come back on top of your life, plus the chef makes some KILLER food! And there is ALWAYS coffee at the AA meetings! The outings are fun too, this last week they took us to the mall and i spent all of my time at the arcade, while others shopped, we just had to meet back up at the set time! If you choose hotel, and stay all the way through, the feeling of accomplishment will amaze you, and being sober freaking rocks by the way! I was afraid I would never have fun again, now i find myself enjoying life again, without substance. If you think youve hit rock bottom, or youre almost there, let Hotel save you, its worth it!

I was obviously not doing well when I came here, but I was met with the compassionate care that I needed to get physically well from the staff, and the connection I was craving from my fellow clients – several of which have become friends I hope to have for a lifetime. This was my first (and ideally last) time in treatment, so the staff, other clients, and the opportunities this program has given me will always hold an extremely special place in my heart. Shoutout to Sidney, Carrigan, Brandon, Travis, Kimberly, Scotty, Laura, Ana, Stephanie, Tina, Michael, Julio, Keith, Christina, Maddy, Crystal, Bruno, and Adam for putting my ass back together. 10/10 recommend

I walked into Bayview at my lowest point in life. It was hard for me to accept treatment. I refused that I needed help. I thought I was fine and that I did not need the help.However that really did change after spending some time in the mental health and substance abuse programs. The counselors were really amazing and the way they structure their program really does help. Every one of the staff is easily approachable and they can all relate to you as the patient in some way. The staff do everything they can to help you and make you feel safe and easy to talk to them. I went in as a broken man and I came out someone better. If you really want to get better, this is the place to do it. Anyone here that writes a bad review or says that it did not work here in the review section did not try to get better. Instead they are blaming a place that truly cares about the patient and they gave up on themselves.Again if you really do want to get better come to this place because I cannot think of another program that is well structured, professional, and as caring as Bayview.

I have been a patient at 6 different clinics over the last decade. The counsellor Alan Hauber is by far the best counselor I have ever met in my life. He has gone above and beyond to help my husband and I be successful in our recovery and is one of the most kind-hearted people on Earth. My husband and I both can not say enough good things about this man. He is phenomenal! ☺️ The PA-C (doctor) Lilly is awesome. It works if you work it. I transferred to MAT here after completing the CUPWS program at Swedish Ballard. The counselors and team here are supportive and thoughtful. A few made lasting impressions that I will forever be grateful for. Proud to say I have over 5 years of recovery, and almost 4 years off of MAT. The negative reviews are mostly people that push the limits of their program and try to game the system. Yes there is hope you have to jump through when you start and precovid there were a lot more of them. Now they have streamlined the system so aslong as you are stable and showing up when your supposed to it’s as simple as spending a few minutes at a time you choose between 6am-12pm waiting to get your meds and go once or twice a month. The dosing staff and doctors are doing their best to work with getting everyone in as few times as possible while making sure you are doing what you’re supposed to be doing the only real negative is the other clients can be a lot to handle when you are trying to get clean in the beginning if they aren’t. Front desk staff and councilor turn over is roughly every two years but that’s the average in the industry so bake that in to your plan. All the way around this is the high water mark for MAT clinics in the state and your alternative is to keep suffering day to day waiting on deadbest people that don’t care about you. SIGN UP TODAY you won’t regret it.

Hint: *make sure the doctor is in that day, if you want to get it done fast!. and if you’re trying to get on meds the same day, get there real early. My stay was a little rough in the beginning due to the pod that I was staying in due to self harming infront of me a lot of substance talk that the clients where talking about which was a little triggering due to me going there to stop substances and trying to focus on myself due to that it was a little hard and the clients wanting to start drama with me when I was there to focus on myself but once I got to talk to the main person she was very sweet and let me move to another pod immediately and my stay became completely different I was surrounded by very sweet people had a lot of support and was able to focus on myself and was happy in that pod unlike the other one and recovered easily once I got into that pod overall yes my stay was a little rough but I learned so much that I never thought I would be able to learn and probably wouldn’t hear about all the healthy coping skills there if it wasn’t for Newport some of the staff had changed my life and will never forget it just because your stay in the beginning is rough dosent mean it always will be there support team is very strong and all of the therapist are all so sweet and still wish I could talk to them

i was at newport for 55 days and it was quite possibly the scariest time of my life. i was struggling with ptsd, depression, SH and SI, and this place turned all of that around in less than 2 months. i know not everyone’s experience is the same and people are going to view residential treatments differently, but going here genuinely saved my life and my relationship with my parents. i’m almost an adult and have a job straight out of treatment, which wasn’t even a possibility where i was before going there. shoutout to the cc’s and my pod (pine) as well as the amazing chef, i miss him dearly and i hope he’s well. and of course the clinical team (counselor, individual therapist, family therapist). i do miss being there and it was a scary and anxiety-inducing but also incredibly helpful and healing chapter of my life.

I have been going to the Kent Comprehensive treatment Center for a little over a year now. I did have a small break after only being a client for 3 months or so. But came back because I was ready to use the program for what its intended for. I've made some friends at the clinic. I credit the in person art group for helping me rediscover my love for coloring/drawing. The staff are always super friendly. And the counselors are all here for us when we need the help. If you've contemplated going to a methadone clinic, I will always recommend doing it. Cause it saved my life as well as my girlfriends. And I will always be grateful for that

Im on my second week this week and I truly love it the two girls in reception are total sweethearts and my counselor Amy i knew her 5 seconds before I knew I was in good hands I instantly felt comfortable and that I could tell her anything and I new she actually cares and isn't there just for a paycheck !
