Depends on you and what you want in life I have had great experiences here and difficult stays with jotc if you want recovery you can find it here but it depends on what you make of it 28 days compared to years of active addiction isn't much time to change your life so I recommend not focusing on what other people are doing or how clean the bathroom is or how old the building is.if your there for yourself then that should be your focus some staff are amazing others may not be to your expectations but haven't we all been insufficient when it comes to expectations of others this could be your chance to learn who you truly are make the most of it .

This is my second attempt at this treatment facility. I chose to come back because of the way I was treated and I felt there is something special about this facility. I was way more involved with my program and the 28 days flew by! I felt like the food was a major improvement and there was an actual chef making breakfast, lunch and dinner an enjoyable experience. My interactions with staff were very dignified and professional. Besides my counselor encouraging my needs and experience made my group feel more comfortable. During my 28 days I was able to not miss one group lecture or AA meeting. I was even the first person to be elected group leader 2 weeks in a row. Since leaving JOTC I was able complete IOP &OP at the triumph facility downtown. I intend on working at the treatment facility as soon as winter quarter is finished. I’m proud of my recovery program and the tools that triumph has given me. 10 months on the 8th and trusting the process and understanding that not everything will change immediately helps me immensely. Thank you JOTC and Triumph for helping me through the process!

Yakima, WA | Sundown M Ranch is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Yakima, Washington. They offer inpatient treatment to people who suffer from substance use disorder. They have programs for both adults and children. They are a full service inpatient facility that offers withdrawal management to those who still have drugs in their system. A trained me | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've been to rehab too many times to count, & i went to Sundown twice; in 2011 & in 2024. I graduated both times.🤘 Most amazing rehab facility, 10/10, A+++ BEST rooms, meals, desserts, vending machines, juice machines, classes, people, etc. Plus the most breathtaking view & paths to wander outside. As well as the house managers and counselors are truly absolutely amazing. (Maude is the head honcho & i know she's pretty intense...so i just always obeyed their easy rules & stayed kool with my counselor, which made it very easy to stay clear of her👍) Even still, there's definitely some flaws in their system, nothing is perfect.. butt compared to ANY other rehab facility, it is a really wonderful place to be held up for 28 days while you figure your crap out & learn how to kick your habits.
Praying i never have to go back to rehab😆 butt if so, I'd NEVER go anywhere else besides Sundown M Ranch. Highly recommend to anyone who's serious about learning how to live a sober life & break your cycle of addiction.
If I can do it, trust me- YOU can, too.

My last counselor Chris is AMAZiNG; she will rock your mind! & my Outpatient counselor Baldwin is SO rockin!🤘 Also a huge thanks to Leonard: #1 best house manager EVER. I miss you buddy!!!!💘 I'll always love & miss you guys SO much. Thank you for helping me change my life for the better.

I cannot say enough about Sundown M Ranch. I have been to six previous treatment centers ranging from 21 day to one year over the last 20 years. Never have I been involved with a treatment center that has given me so much and been such a positive experience. The Sundown experience is second to none. If you are someone you know is suffering from addiction. Please give Sundown a chance you owe it to yourself or your loved one.

Went well and finally got an answer on the skin condition I have when other doctors at other clinics never referred me or gave me an answer of what it was just guessed that it was eczema, which it wasn’t. My counselor sucked but my roommate was awesome. Here is my honest review of Beths Place for Women in Yakima, WA.
I arrived at Beths Place in Nov. 2023. Completely broken. I had lost everything, my home, my job, my car. My husband and I were living on the streets. I had decided I just couldn't do it anymore and needed serious help. Rock bottom. When I got to Beths Place my initial thought was that the staff came off a little impersonal and cold at intake, but I was so very thankful to be there. The day after I arrived, I met my counselor, Vicky, Now *she* was cold. Seen it all, done it all, I know more, have had more hard times than you, blah blah blah. No sense of "hey, let's get you the help you need, so glad you're taking this huge step!" Really long story short, I was not really engaging in group to her satisfaction, not doing her assignments the way she thought I should do them, not sharing things she considered, REAL. She told me snidely "you are gonna end up right back in these chairs!" You were wrong! I have 2 years, 1 month and 2 days clean. Never going back. I am the one who did the work in my own way, and *I* am the only reason I am clean. Not you. ME. The one you said would fail. You never even tried to understand me, you knew it all, right? So, I guess my point to anyone heading to this treatment facility is to remember that it's not someone else's journey, it's YOURS. Do what works best for you, but do the work, The reflection to gain insight as to what lead to the cause of your addiction. And most of all, love yourself, even if you feel like you're not worth it. You are. So, with that, Madame Counselor, you're not the best at what you do. You are incredibly rude, and actually, kind of mean. Maybe be more thoughtful and compassionate, kind, and listen more. We all have it in us to succeed. Not doing it the way you demand doesn't mean we are going to FAIL. You came off as bitter, cold, and completely judgmental. And to my amazing roommate Sarah, keep rocking that clean life girl! We did it!!

Update: After my son's assessment and his next appointment scheduled, I feel this is something that will work for him. After things explained how they do what they do and the need they fill in the patients it's understandable why the appointment system works for them how it works. I look forward to good communication ahead and getting the help my son needs. Thank you Leticia!
Previous review: They need to have a better way to schedule, especially for new patients. My son was referred here, they called me about a week to 2 weeks later but they said that the first visit is a walk in. "Anytime between 7:30 to 3:30." I came in with my son on Monday around 2:50 (I was trying to do it after school) and they said they didn't have any slots. So we filled out the paperwork, and was told that Tuesday morning was going to be busy and to stop by on Wednesday. We got here Wednesday @7:30 , we were the 2nd people in line and it is now 9:10 and still haven't gotten called. If you have a child with an anxiety disorder it is probably better if an appointment could've been made.

My appointment went as smooth as normal. When I started my "treatment," I can remember saying that the treatment should go well unless I broke some bones or got hurt bad enough to require pain management. In November of 2024 I broke my lower back. It was hell trying to recover from that. Im 58 now, and things take longer to heal, but I managed. I moved a month ago and managed to slip and fall in my new residence and landed on my "Hope Chest" and broke my lower back again. It's been over 2 weeks, and i am still badly bruised and have a lump the size of a baseball that won't go away. It's very painful, and I can not find adequate pain relief.

Can you really trust a review from someone that goes to this kind of place?
That being said,
I have only been here once and already I’m starting to wonder if my money would be better spent somewhere else? Maybe I’m impatient to some degree but at the same time for the amount of money being charged for services, I would think they could afford to hire someone that knows how to respond to voicemails in a timely manner. Seems a bit unprofessional I don’t have anything bad to say about the therapist, just not sure it’s worth the headache trying to reach them.
I originally wrote this review eight months ago and just after writing the post they seemed to have fixed the issue, I think it was with the receptionist at the time. Anyways, I wanted to share that I did resume therapy with Jeff Thompson. I have seen a lot of different therapist and Jeff was very good at assessing my needs and helping me through my darkest times. He would periodically send me information through email that could help me through my struggles so I know he genuinely cared. I would highly recommend this place. There were some informational packets with some Christianity views in the waiting room but I was never pressured into looking at them, I don't even recall ever really talking about religion. It was just reading material I could look at while waiting for the therapist.

This review is solely for Martha. She works with monolingual Spanish-speaking clients and is an exceptional clinician. Having experience with other community resources, the level of care she provides truly stands out. If I were rating the agency as a whole, my rating might look different. But Martha is irreplaceable. Her compassion, skill, and dedication to her clients make a real difference, and anyone working with her is incredibly lucky.
