While I didn't complete my stay at Evergreen Detox is still was a great experience great facility don't listen to the negative reviews it's nonsense. The fact that they send you with the rest of your meds when you leave is a big thing. I was able to continue to not use and thankfully I'm 9 days clean and I couldn't be more thankful. It's truly a great place they are constantly checking on you to make sure you're okay or if you need anything. Definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without their help.

The staff and nurses are amazing . My detox was the most painless withdrawal ever! Also food is amazing chefs are putting in the work ;D and u can also take an epsom salt bath!! Helped so much with the creepycrawls. This place is foreal the “best in the west” so many patients from around the country come to stay here it’s foreal worth a shot. Only bad thing would be sometimes subxone is administered to early kicking u into acute withdrawal. However, everyone has a different effect on it . Overall the place was so helpful in my recovery ! Couldn’t have done without them !

I couldn't be more pleased with everyone and their dedication to healthcare here. I chose ambetter insurance on the marketplace because it was affordable for me. After realizing I couldnt find a doctor off the outdated list that was provided to me by ambetter, i ended up here at seamar health clinic. As an aging semi retired, working woman, I find it exhausting to try keep Up with medical referrals, insurance, dates of appointments etc. My first visit was with alyssa chard and i'm telling you she addressed every single worry that I had in my head over my health and she didn't rush me. I felt like she treated me like a whole person who cared. My prescriptions were filled right there at the clinic that day. They set me up with sports medicine for my bad knees with a visiting doctor by the name of dr julio perez who remove fluid out of my knee and give me painless steroid shots. When I left the helpfull staff there had me set up with physical therapy, a nutritionist, a return visit with doctor perez, and plans to help me get into a doctor who can give me knee replacements- all written down and highlighted for me!! These are good People running this clinic and they care about you. They never made me feel like I was taking too much of their time.Or that they were rushing me in and out. I no longer feel overwhelmed about the whole process of getting medical care I would recommend this place to anyone. I was treated better than when I had the best insurance money could buy. Thanks Seamar!

I've been seeing providers through compass for about 2 years. In the beginning I thought a therapist younger than me would be a gamble but they have been phenomenal. The students who are ready to graduate have been outstanding in helping me with my goals, depression and anxiety, relationships and other interpersonal issues and psychological impacts of chronic pain. And some of the students stay on staff after completion of their degree. The psychiatrist is also fantastic, as is her nurse. Everyone from the front desk to the providers are responsive and friendly. I've also done group therapy for DBT and ADHD. There is no limit to how many weeks you can see a therapist individually like there is with Sea Mar. I feel fortunate to have found Compass. I've been to a lot of therapy, it's like working out. Things do get better!

This place is now CALLED EVERGREEN RECOVERY CENTERS. I submitted to Google to fix it because if you are trying to find Evergreen Recovery Centers Lynnwood it pops up in maps as "permanently closed". Actually what's going on is EVERGREEN MANOR turned into EVERGREEN RECOVERY CENTERS. It is tuff to get an appointment here through the walk-in system but if you are persistent you can get in. Maryanne at reception is a sweetheart and can guide you in. Cocoa is nice and helpful too. Phil is a great assessment counselor. But the icing on the cake of getting treatment here is ROSEMARY THE RESOURCE SPECIALIST. She gives you real stuff and step by step instructions for how to get the help you need in all areas of your life. I was impressed with her knowledge of otherwise hidden and untapped resources. I am well versed in theese areas and she knows her stuff and her heart is in her work.

Lakeside Milam Inpatient in Kirkland, WA has given me a second chance at rebuilding my life and laying a foundation for sustainable recovery. After a 10-year stretch of sobriety, I relapsed—quickly spiraling into a dark, painful place that lasted longer than I ever imagined. When I reached out for help again, LMRC admitted me within just a few hours and welcomed me straight into detox. During detox, patients are given the option to rest and regain strength or to begin joining group processing, lectures, and meals as soon as they are stable. Once detox is complete, the structure kicks in—every scheduled activity is required and punctuality is expected. That accountability, though challenging, sets the tone for living life with purpose and responsibility again. What makes LMRC stand out is the depth and passion of its programming. The lectures are engaging and evidence-based, providing proven strategies for confronting addiction and personal struggles. Patients and families are educated on brain function, the science of addiction, communication tools, and practical steps for recovery. Family workshops and lectures reinforce the idea that healing is a shared journey. The staff are another reason this place works. Many openly share their own recovery stories, modeling service and honesty—the cornerstones of active recovery. Compassion and accountability go hand in hand here; the team genuinely cares while also calling patients out when needed. The presence of doctors, ARNPs, psychologists, and nurses every day adds reassurance and professional oversight. The daily life at LMRC also helps patients reset. Structured routines, balanced meals (with a salad bar, soups, snacks, and coffee in the mornings), designated tech time, movies on weekends, and free time for assignments or connection with peers all create a balanced environment. It’s structured without being suffocating. Recovery is hard. It’s painful, emotional, and messy. But LMRC makes the path a little more manageable. They emphasize the fellowship of AA, CA, NA, and HA by offering in-house meetings with volunteers and trips to outside meetings several times a week. These opportunities remind us that addicts best help addicts, and alcoholics best help alcoholics. Every patient receives an individualized Tx plan, with assignments and goals tailored to their needs, and the support remains consistent through the ups and downs. More than just a program, LMRC fosters willingness over denial, growth over shame, and community over isolation. For anyone serious about breaking free from addiction, LMRC Inpatient in Kirkland is more than a treatment center—it’s a place where recovery begins or restarts, and can truly take root. Special shout-outs: •Maddy - your compassion and honesty are beautiful and you take your job seriously. It has been a pleasure talking with you. •Frank, Chuck and Jake - You guys keep us all safe and do the best job helping those of us who have trouble sleeping. •RT’s Kenzie, Nick 🎶, Caitlin H, Caitlin, Charissa, Carrie, Ryan, Brendan, Katie, Meaghan, Kollin, Luke, Ty, Jay, and Andrew - Thank you for your examples of genuine kindness and recovery!! •Dr. Rogers, Dr. Rose, Yadira, Jamarah, Marty, Steven, and Karen - Thank you for dealing with me and my meds while keeping it humorous. Thank you for listening, staying 100% ethical, and allowing me to be scared while never changing your efficiency! •Mary Kay, Renee, Holly, and Jessica - I will always be grateful for your empathy, grace, expertise, and hearing me when I needed it. Jessica, my heart broke that day, and there you were, just like you said you’d be. To have a “mom” hug while my mom isn’t available anymore, was comfort I didn’t know I needed. • ADRIENN and HANNAH - you two beautiful women both deserve 20 stars!! I’ll def miss you both greatly, and I know I’m privileged to know and love you both!! You’re amazing at your jobs, stand on your truths, and have really blessed my recovery and life by showing up every day, keeping it real, and standing in the gap for me! I wish you both the absolute best!

Attending Lakeside has been one of the best decisions of my life. Their inpatient facility in Kirkland has a very welcoming atmosphere, the grounds are wooded and beautiful you get lots of free time to enjoy yourself mixed in with some very informative lectures and groups. I spent some time at the outpatient facility and I would again suggest going there for inpatient, outpatient, or continuing care. I had a wonderful case worker for most of my time there who helped me navigate some challenging life experiences, and the groups I had there were invaluable to my recovery. They are a 12 step focused treatment facility, but they also promote exploration of other programs and won't alienate you if you don't vibe with AA as your chosen method of recovery. Thank you Lakeside Milam!

So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift. I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today. What the treatment is like: There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups. Pros: -The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible. -The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life. -The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite. -The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment. -The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick. Cons: -The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween. -Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.

I am truly grateful for my time at this rehab facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and understood. The staff here are not only compassionate, but also highly equipped to help people in the critical early stages of recovery. They provide guidance, structure, and encouragement that makes the process feel possible even on the hardest days. One of the things that stood out most to me was how much emphasis they place on overall wellness, especially nutrition. The meals were thoughtfully prepared to promote healing, restore energy, and support both physical and mental recovery. It made a huge difference to know that what I was eating was part of my treatment and not just an afterthought. The medical team was also incredibly attentive. They addressed my needs promptly and ensured I always felt safe and cared for. Having that level of professional support allowed me to focus fully on my recovery. This rehab is not just a place for treatment—it’s a place where people can begin to rebuild their lives with dignity, care, and the right tools for lasting recovery.

I checked into Hotel California sicker than I realized. My intention was to get through detox and the following 28 days, and that was going to be it. The program, facilities as well as the staff are top notch. I decided to extend my program by another 28 days as I still had more to grasp and they helped me through that process. What’s great is they have an Outpatient program which I am going to continue from home. They helped me get through the entire process and have set me up with a great foundation in sobriety to re enter my life. Bottom line, is if you need help getting sober and setting you up to stay sober, I recommend calling Hotel California.

I went to Hotel California By The Sea in late January of 2025. I had just dealt with a very dysfunctional attempt at another facility out of state and was so scared to try another but I needed help badly. I was drinking heavily to the point that if I didn't drink enough to start my day, I was violently Ill. I can say I truly felt I couldn't be helped. And so I called Hotel. When I called they answered immediately and tried to get me in as soon as possible. Again, being my first stint in treatment I was terrified and nervous as all could be. But with my intake I knew immediately I was in great hands. The moment I said goodbye to my wife, I had no idea the real me would be coming back. They monitored and aided every single step of my withdrawal process, making it as easy as they could. Accomodations were spectacular and the nurses and staff were so friendly. But then it came time for me to decide if I was going to stay with the treatment or just leave after detox. There was absolutely ZERO pressure from the staff and help there, they just insisted I talk to my wife, who bless her soul convinced me I needed it. And so right then I let them know and they got me situated into a house with fellow patients to begin my healing journey. I stayed in the program they provide for 90 days. Everything with my work leave and payed leave Hotel took care of. They made it so that I didn't have to worry about the outside world, and that I could really focus on getting better. I am now 8 months sober and awaiting my first child, all of which I never would have thought possible while I was in my drinking dilemma. The care and attentiveness of the staff and medical professionals at Hotel California was unbelievable. Not only did I better my health, they helped me better every aspect of my life. Making that call to Hotel California By The Sea is hands down the greatest decision I've ever made in my life. Thank you Hotel....

I have mostly had positive experiences visiting the Seattle VA hospital. The staff is positive and professional. Wait times can be longer than normal but you have to remember it's the government. The one major complaint I have is with the disabled parking area. As a disabled veteran finding disabled parking can be problematic there. Several times I have seen multiple cars illegally using our disabled parking spots. And even when a violator is reported to the VA police they do nothing to correct the situation and open up a disabled parking spot for a qualified disabled veteran.

i was at newport for 55 days and it was quite possibly the scariest time of my life. i was struggling with ptsd, depression, SH and SI, and this place turned all of that around in less than 2 months. i know not everyone’s experience is the same and people are going to view residential treatments differently, but going here genuinely saved my life and my relationship with my parents. i’m almost an adult and have a job straight out of treatment, which wasn’t even a possibility where i was before going there. shoutout to the cc’s and my pod (pine) as well as the amazing chef, i miss him dearly and i hope he’s well. and of course the clinical team (counselor, individual therapist, family therapist). i do miss being there and it was a scary and anxiety-inducing but also incredibly helpful and healing chapter of my life.

Newport saved our daughter and set our family on a stable path to recovery. Last fall we were losing our daughter to mental health challenges, PTSD and increasingly unsafe behaviors. It took 3 tries to get her to commit to Newport, but after the first few weeks of adjustment, she made more therapeutic progress with the team at Newport than in all of the other interventions we've tried to date (years of CBT therapy, DBT skills, and peer groups) . We are now 3 months out from her discharge and we still have moments of stress but Newport put us back on the same team in terms of addressing challenges together and we have been super impressed with how our 15yo is using skills to navigate the tough moments. We are extremely grateful to the Newport team for everything they did to get through to our child and earn her trust in their process.

It’s been 3 years since our son was at Newport. And it’s been a long road. However 3 years later he is thriving and growing in ways I could only dream. Everything we have learned from Newport we use today. It’s absolutely everything we needed for our son and as a family. Beyond grateful

It works if you work it. I transferred to MAT here after completing the CUPWS program at Swedish Ballard. The counselors and team here are supportive and thoughtful. A few made lasting impressions that I will forever be grateful for. Proud to say I have over 5 years of recovery, and almost 4 years off of MAT. Thank you, THS for helping me start my journey to becoming a thriving, driven, and respectable member of society.

They are the best outpatient clinic you can go to. They are pretty fast with the lines. One day I was 5 minutes due to finding my friend deceased in his apartment and they still allowed me to dose which they rarely do for anyone

Overall a great program that really has helped me get life together and focus on what’s important in my life and future. Slight downside is a particular individual staff member should really change his attitude towards patients he speaks with. Alcoholics/Addicts need compassion and help, not arrogance, attitude and indifference. Besides that my journey has my spirituality at an all time high compared to when I arrived.

I honestly don't know why the rating for this treatment center is low, I have been to evergreen and nwih and this place doses you the quickest. And the staff is friendly, there's no judgment. It's a clean clinic, for all that I'd give it 5 stars based on my experience so far. It's definitely better than the other clinics I have been too. Hopefully their ratings will goo up.

Gosh, where do I start lol. I contact them about an issue, turns out they weren't able to "help" me but they indeed helped me sooooo much! I spoke to a lady named Krystal. She was so empathetic, compassionate, thorough, professional, knowledgeable and polite. I was so impressed. The level of care was top tier. Even though they couldn't help me with my main concern, she reiterated that they had no issue with being a beacon for some sound advice and resources to help me on my journey of finding what I needed. Thank you again THS of Bellevue.
