While I didn't complete my stay at Evergreen Detox is still was a great experience great facility don't listen to the negative reviews it's nonsense. The fact that they send you with the rest of your meds when you leave is a big thing. I was able to continue to not use and thankfully I'm 9 days clean and I couldn't be more thankful. It's truly a great place they are constantly checking on you to make sure you're okay or if you need anything. Definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without their help.

I couldn't be more pleased with everyone and their dedication to healthcare here. I chose ambetter insurance on the marketplace because it was affordable for me. After realizing I couldnt find a doctor off the outdated list that was provided to me by ambetter, i ended up here at seamar health clinic. As an aging semi retired, working woman, I find it exhausting to try keep
Up with medical referrals, insurance, dates of appointments etc. My first visit was with alyssa chard and i'm telling you she addressed every single worry that I had in my head over my health and she didn't rush me. I felt like she treated me like a whole person who cared. My prescriptions were filled right there at the clinic that day. They set me up with sports medicine for my bad knees with a visiting doctor by the name of dr julio perez who remove fluid out of my knee and give me painless steroid shots. When I left the helpfull staff there had me set up with physical therapy, a nutritionist, a return visit with doctor perez, and plans to help me get into a doctor who can give me knee replacements- all written down and highlighted for me!! These are good

I've been seeing providers through compass for about 2 years. In the beginning I thought a therapist younger than me would be a gamble but they have been phenomenal. The students who are ready to graduate have been outstanding in helping me with my goals, depression and anxiety, relationships and other interpersonal issues and psychological impacts of chronic pain. And some of the students stay on staff after completion of their degree.
The psychiatrist is also fantastic, as is her nurse. Everyone from the front desk to the providers are responsive and friendly. I've also done group therapy for DBT and ADHD. There is no limit to how many weeks you can see a therapist individually like there is with Sea Mar. I feel fortunate to have found Compass. I've been to a lot of therapy, it's like working out. Things do get better!

This place is now CALLED EVERGREEN RECOVERY CENTERS. I submitted to Google to fix it because if you are trying to find Evergreen Recovery Centers Lynnwood it pops up in maps as "permanently closed". Actually what's going on is EVERGREEN MANOR turned into EVERGREEN RECOVERY CENTERS. It is tuff to get an appointment here through the walk-in system but if you are persistent you can get in. Maryanne at reception is a sweetheart and can guide you in. Cocoa is nice and helpful too. Phil is a great assessment counselor. My 4 weeks here at the center honestly saved me. My first day I was so anxious about the new environment I had to have EMS called for me because I had a panic attack, and my second day I was throwing up the whole day. All that to say I wouldn’t have been able to make it through the first week if it wasn’t for the loving and wonderful and caring staff and clients. Everyone comes here with pain and it leads to a bright, warm, positive environment where people are able to bond and be their authentic selves completely. So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift.
I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today.
What the treatment is like:
There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups.
Pros:
-The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible.
-The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life.
-The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite.
-The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment.
-The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick.
Cons:
-The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween.
-Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.

My experience with the health board has always been beneficial in whatever I'm in need of. From DV council to treatment concerns, general health to help with housing concerns. This last visit was to see the dentist and again, the service from making a appointment, to actually being seen was absolutely attentive to all my needs. I was put on a stand by list so, if there was a cancellation, I was offered a earlier appointment!! So I was seen way earlier than I was going to be seen, and I'm not exaggerating the procedure filling a cavity I had was literally almost painless I felt a tiny prick and that was it. Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. I also had my teeth cleaned and that was a very pleasant experience also. Everyone on the team is in good communication with each other so, you don't get the right hand doesn't know what the Left hand is doing run around. And the whole vibe was just professional and kinda laid back. So you can relax and trust your in a professional caring environment. It's excellent for family from kids to seniors. Now the location is definitely urban with urban issues. but, I've never had a problem getting to my appointments and, I take public transportation.
However there is parking onsite also. All in all just a wonderful place.

I am truly grateful for my time at this rehab facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and understood. The staff here are not only compassionate, but also highly equipped to help people in the critical early stages of recovery. They provide guidance, structure, and encouragement that makes the process feel possible even on the hardest days.
One of the things that stood out most to me was how much emphasis they place on overall wellness, especially nutrition. The meals were thoughtfully prepared to promote healing, restore energy, and support both physical and mental recovery. It made a huge difference to know that what I was eating was part of my treatment and not just an afterthought.
The medical team was also incredibly attentive. They addressed my needs promptly and ensured I always felt safe and cared for. Having that level of professional support allowed me to focus fully on my recovery.
This rehab is not just a place for treatment—it’s a place where people can begin to rebuild their lives with dignity, care, and the right tools for lasting recovery.
Nancy is truly a blessing in my life. From the very start, her incredible patience and kindness made me feel seen and heard in a way I never thought possible. She didn’t rush me or judge me—she took all the time I needed to open up and truly understood the depth of what I was going through.
She saw through my struggles and immediately helped me face them head-on with compassion and wisdom. Every step she suggested felt like it was made just for me, perfectly matching what I needed in that moment. Nancy’s attention to my pain and progress gave me hope when I felt lost, and her unwavering support has been a light in my darkest times.
To me, she’s not just a case manager—she’s the kindest, most genuine person on earth. Nancy saved me when I needed it most, and I’m forever grateful for her presence in my life.

Newport saved our daughter and set our family on a stable path to recovery.
Last fall we were losing our daughter to mental health challenges, PTSD and increasingly unsafe behaviors. It took 3 tries to get her to commit to Newport, but after the first few weeks of adjustment, she made more therapeutic progress with the team at Newport than in all of the other interventions we've tried to date (years of CBT therapy, DBT skills, and peer groups) .
We are now 3 months out from her discharge and we still have moments of stress but Newport put us back on the same team in terms of addressing challenges together and we have been super impressed with how our 15yo is using skills to navigate the tough moments.
We are extremely grateful to the Newport team for everything they did to get through to our child and earn her trust in their process.
