I've just visited the center, but I want to go there with my family. My daughter works until 5:00 Mon.- Fri. The center should be open on Sat. And Sun. For people that work. Closing at 4:30 isn't covenant.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with St. Luke's Mental Health Clinic. I truly hope that my review helps others considering seeking care here. When I entered the building for my first appointment, I was guided to a private room and sat down with a very kind woman who then asked me to share my story. At the end of the hour, she looked at her clipboard and said, "I think (therapist name) is going to be a great fit for you." I was so impressed that St. Luke's took the time to match patients with a therapist who would be their best fit, instead of just sticking them in available slots or making them choose based on online bios. I have been with my therapist for many years now and I can say she is the perfect therapist for my needs, and I am so grateful for the lovely woman who matched us together. Thank you St Luke's for providing top-notch, personalized mental health care.

I was traveling and visiting from out of state. I was having some pain in my chest and coughing bad and needed to be seen in the emergency room. Upon arriving the front office staff were very efficient and attentive to my concerns. The wait was about an hour before getting a bed but they were able to take some blood and ekg while I was waiting to help speed things up. The nurses were great and the doctor was very good at communicating my issues. They did as great job caring for me. I see a lot of negative comments about wait times but I have been in several ER's in my life and I have waiting much longer in others. They only have limited doctors and nurses compared to how many patients come thru the door. If I were in need of emergency care I would go back this this hospitals ER.

St lukes is the best place for medical appointments and procedures I've ever been to.They are leaps and bounds above the other hospitals and clinics, they treat you like a person, (not some trash) they aren't a fake nice either, they really care. If you want to experience true degradation - go to a VA clinic in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas. This VA is "Club Med" compared to many. Connect to MyHealthVet through the VA online - Fast messaging, fast prescriptions, fast appointments. I've been to four VA clinics and tried non-VA clinics. This one has been my favorite. My primary Dr. and staff are helpful. They do everything they can and have helped with every health concern I had. I know they are also understaffed. My Doc is all business and I don't expect her to be fluff, she's there to take care of my health. I appreciate that, that's military grade. Get to know the staff, let them take care of you, and make sure to show you care for them.

The outpatient is outstanding, taking into account this isn't some big-city slaughterhouse where the doctors are threatened with Bull S* . Here, the doctors, therapists, nurses, and staff enjoy their job, and this makes a huge impact on a patient's health.// The inpatient unit gets 3-stars only on merit where this is not a big-city circus. The doctors are withdrawn into a fantasy of how to make appeals to courts and testify the best they can about all the reason's there is a problem. You're not very likely to be committed per se, but you'll most likely need to agree to conditions in order to be released from the hospital. When the first ordeal is over with, the care is much better if you're required to stay a bit longer in the hospital before they stabilize you. Also remember there has never been a 5-star inpatient unit. The U.S. is swamped with mental health needs and are short staffed to meet the demands. Good Job Aspirus.

While I wouldn’t say I knew it as a kid these people really helped me a lot without me even knowing it helped me learn coping skills to build myself back up I was a angry kid I wanted the world to burn but without me even completing the program I learned so much (insurance gave out and couldn’t cover it was there for 10+ months)

I was a student here in 2011 and a staff in 2020. Northwoods and other PRTF save lives! Google me! I play pro football now and was on path to end up in jail when I went here at age 12. Please contact me if you doubt me, I’m easy to find! The thing with PRTF is that your kid has to participate in their programming. If they don’t then this isn’t the place to be forcing you, it’s not a fully locked down facility like that. Then, you have some families who don’t care in the horn so that doesn’t help either when the kid leaves doesn’t have support then everyone blames the PRTF but there’s a reason we all got sent their in the first place so reading these former youth complain when they’re fresh out shouldn’t impact you. I’m a grown adult 10+ years after successfully discharging from Northwoods living my independent life, married and happy and it is all because of Northwoods.

What an answer to prayers! Not only was the staff so caring and gentle, but the women that came through these doors were the crutch I needed on days when I could not stand on my own. This program literally saved me from jumping off a bridge. They gave me hope for the future and restored my belief in myself again. I stepped into this house at the darkest time in my life, when vision was blinded by disparities & my heart hardened to the beauty around me. I lived in silence and tried to hide from reality in any way I could find. By the 2nd week, bits of sunshine began to break through the gloom. Eventually a smile would shock the woman sitting next to me. By the time my program was complete, I had been reborn. I owe my life to this place. With a MAJOR shout out to October Allen, who was the glimmer of hope that began knocking down the rocks that were preventing me from moving. Today, I have full custody of my kids. I am thriving in a world that had broken me. Life is so beautiful and so worth the fight to discover again.

I went through Marty Mann for three months in 2005. It is the best treatment program for women. Staff are professional and wise. I relapsed after leaving, which was totally on me. I really appreciated what they did for me I got along with the staff very well I made them all laugh etc I had really good experience there sure I didn't always play along by their rules but respected them the food was delicious the roommates were cool had a great repoire with them got along well with the clients too I can't complain this all happened when they first opened I'm not sure how things are regulated now I was ever grateful and blessed
