I've just visited the center, but I want to go there with my family. My daughter works until 5:00 Mon.- Fri. The center should be open on Sat. And Sun. For people that work. Closing at 4:30 isn't covenant.

I came from a bigger city with lots of choices for mental health care. This is by far the best care I have ever received. You get a caseworker to help you with literally anything. The Doctor is willing to work with you and allows you to take a part in your care. The therapist that I have is a trauma expert. I am so thankful for this place.

My son just recently went to Koinonia in Rhinelander. For him, let's just say when he left he cried & was scared to leave there. This is saying a whole lot!! It was structured, a great counselor, & they kept them busy with lots of group sessions. He needed this. I suggest a Sober living housing after this, which my son refused cuz he wanted to work. The only problem I have with this Rehab is that it's only 30 days, u can't stay any longer. My son said he asked & it's 800$'s a day there after that even insurance won't cover. This just isn't right. Well, unless u are Native American & the tribe pays. But others don't have this type of money & so badly need way longer to recover. Sadly, I have my doubts for my son. He did great there but it should have been waayy longer for him. It breaks my heart when he was so very close.

I'm 35 now, when I was 20 I was forced to go treatment here, and looking back on all the treatments I had. This place is amazing. I still wonder what happened to the ladies I was in rehab with, and I pray they continued their path in recovery. If u want or need help this place really cares and loves.

What an answer to prayers! Not only was the staff so caring and gentle, but the women that came through these doors were the crutch I needed on days when I could not stand on my own. This program literally saved me from jumping off a bridge. They gave me hope for the future and restored my belief in myself again. I stepped into this house at the darkest time in my life, when vision was blinded by disparities & my heart hardened to the beauty around me. I lived in silence and tried to hide from reality in any way I could find. By the 2nd week, bits of sunshine began to break through the gloom. Eventually a smile would shock the woman sitting next to me. By the time my program was complete, I had been reborn. I owe my life to this place. With a MAJOR shout out to October Allen, who was the glimmer of hope that began knocking down the rocks that were preventing me from moving. Today, I have full custody of my kids. I am thriving in a world that had broken me. Life is so beautiful and so worth the fight to discover again.

Marty Mann was a super place to be away from family and get well and feel healed :Healing is the process of improving, restoring, or recovering physical, mental, or emotional well-being. I went through Marty Mann for three months in 2005. It is the best treatment program for women. Staff are professional and wise. I relapsed after leaving, which was totally on me. If anyone needs to have a great support team for mental and emotional issues I would highly recommend going to birch tree... The staff there are so supportive and understanding. They truly and genuinely care for their guest and have very warm hearts....I went there in a crisis and I feel completely peaceful and it hasn't been 10 days! Please consider these guys

I really appreciated what they did for me I got along with the staff very well I made them all laugh etc I had really good experience there sure I didn't always play along by their rules but respected them the food was delicious the roommates were cool had a great repoire with them got along well with the clients too I can't complain this all happened when they first opened I'm not sure how things are regulated now I was ever grateful and blessed

I was a student here in 2011 and a staff in 2020. Northwoods and other PRTF save lives! Google me! I play pro football now and was on path to end up in jail when I went here at age 12. Please contact me if you doubt me, I’m easy to find! The thing with PRTF is that your kid has to participate in their programming. If they don’t then this isn’t the place to be forcing you, it’s not a fully locked down facility like that. Then, you have some families who don’t care in the horn so that doesn’t help either when the kid leaves doesn’t have support then everyone blames the PRTF but there’s a reason we all got sent their in the first place so reading these former youth complain when they’re fresh out shouldn’t impact you. I’m a grown adult 10+ years after successfully discharging from Northwoods living my independent life, married and happy and it is all because of Northwoods.
