Our son has attended KinderCare in Monona for about 9 months now and it has been a true blessing. His main teacher, Ms. Jamie, is incredible and worthy of the awards she's received but the rest of the staff that works with our son have also been great. The director, Ayron, knows our son well and easily rattles off anecdotes about his day whenever we see her. Some telling signs about the quality of care he receives at KinderCare is that our son is always excited to be there when we drop him off, he loves his teachers, is in a great mood when we pick him up, and is learning and progressing perfectly. We were surprised to get a full, detailed report from Ms. Jamie about our son's progression against key milestones and what to look for in the near future. When we had questions about how to introduce solid foods for him, she sent pictures every day of their meals along with instructions for how they prepare the food so we could simulate it at home. We always love the artwork he makes that they send home and the pictures they send each day through the app as it helps us feel connected to our little guy - they do a great job of capturing his spirit in them. We want to express our gratitude to the staff at KinderCare for everything they've done for our son.

Therapist Lisa is amazing in every way. She has truly changed my view on counseling and has helped me so very much. She is incredibly supportive, and I genuinely feel comfortable telling her any and everything. I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience. The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

Carol the therapist I worked with is incredible. She specializes in addiction and I've just had a wonderful experience with her. Easy to talk to, gives wonderful advice. Lived here for almost 3 years it'll be 3 years in October, I like how LJ (the property manager) is nice and is willing to help out with repairs and such. I like that there's several restaurants located near by a lot of restaurants. The wifi is pretty good outside of a few outages that happen from time to time but that's to be expected. Hoping to stay for more years to come.

Incredible staff! I have never waited for more than 10 minutes for any appointment and the doctors are so thorough and friendly. They don't make you feel rushed at all. They CARE! I spent most of my adult life using the private sector for insurance and medical care and I don't miss it at all. My care is so much better with the VA! Thank you for alll you do for us!

As far as psych unuts go, this one is *TOP* of my list!! The food is AMAZING, the people are WONDERFUL, the programs they do and the support they provide are absolutely the best I've had (and, I'm not ashamed to say I've been to *many* different inpatient units over my lifetime. 😅 Being able to go in when you realize you're out of sorts or not feeling safe is VERY important!! We don't talk enough about mental health in the world, and it's just as important as physical care!) Anyway.... 10/10... HIGHLY recommend! (And no, I'm not getting paid yo say this! 🤣)

Although I have nothing to compare this program to, I found my care to be top notch. Okay, the beds are a bit hard but the doctors, social workers and the nurses (almost forgot to mention the OT folks) were incredibly kind and effective. In my opinion, the inpatient program is as successful as the work you put into it. There is no magic cure; just need to pull yourself up by the britches and dive in. Oh- the food is quite good as well! I would highly recommend this inpatient psychiatric programming!

Connections Counseling is by far the best place I have ever been to for therapy and treatment. My therapist is insightful, inspiring, relatable and very knowledgeable. She encourages me to look within myself for strength and wisdom while she is there to help me. I now have 1.5 years of sobriety under my belt and have confidence in the future The groups are a place of safety and comfort. The staff aswell as the peers are relatable, inspiring and encouraging. Kim is the most uplifting person you will ever come across in recovery. Smart move to have her be the first person you deal with at Connections. My life will never be the same (thank goodness) since I have come to Connections I will continue on my road to recovery with the support of Connections for as long as they will have me.

I've been with the Wishope Recovery program for the last 8 months - 30 days residential, 30 days transitional, and 190 days in sober living. I spent 90 days total in programming learning about addiction, recovery, and about myself. The staff was extremely supportive and helpful at every step along the way. They have answered my questions, listened to my fears, and celebrated my achievements. I would not be where I am today if I had not been a part of this program. I tried to get sober by myself for years before stepping into the residential facility, and there I found the pathway to finding and maintaining my sobriety going forward. I am very appreciative and thankful for this program.

From homelessness and on the verge of sacrificing what life i had, I took the advice of a counselor to go to a mental hospital. During my 12 day detox I was told about Wishope and that rehab may be good for me. Being open to anything different than what I had became my focal point, so I took the offer and went to Woods Crossing to start my first rehab journey in residential. I'm so grateful that I took it! That's when I got sober. It was suggested that I do the step down program which took several months. That is when I learned to be sober. I learned about myself and trauma. I learned about addiction. I also learned that my flaws weren't weaknesses, but things I just wasn't good at. Yet still a part of me that made up who I am. I have learned to respect myself, set goals that are achievable, cope with what life throws at me sober, and how to love myself and smile again. God has thankfully removed the filter that I once looked at the world thru and given me one that is filled with love, faith in something bigger than myself, and respect to myself and others. By the grace of God I am now learning to LIVE sober. And what a blessing that gift is. A BETTER WAY TO LIVE. Thank you Wishope for giving me 12 months sober and pushed me to be uncomfortable at times, vulnerable at other times without judgment, and pushing me to be better. This experience has been worth everything to me and literally changed my life!

WisHope has helped me get my life back. Coming through this program has been the best decision I could have made. The staff is amazing and is always there for you any time of the day. I was able to learn so much about myself and how to continue working on myself for the rest of my life. Wishope helped me to identify my triggers and then how to cope with them. This is the first time that I have ever enjoyed seeing a therapist and actually focusing on how to better my life. This is my first rehab program, and I am very happy I selected to go here. I completed the step down program, and I believe this was a huge part of helping me to learn a new daily healthy routine. I am now 7 months sober, and without Wishope I wouldn’t be able to say that!(:

I think this place benefits everyone that comes to it. There was this one guy though that kept talking about getting loads all the time. There was another guy that was born a mouse and now is growing into a rat, He smoked weed the whole Time. Made it hard to focus on my recovery. Then he did the perky dance right outta here. Kim is a wonderful staff member along with Karen. The rest of the staff isn’t bad either.
