I have been going to Goodman’s Behavioral Health for a few years now. I first met the staff while going with a family member. After having a few failed attempts with other therapists, Claudia made me feel comfortable enough to give therapy a try again. A person has to find the right therapist and I found mine. It has worked out well. I got the support I needed to make positive changes in my life. I even worked up the courage to join group therapy, which I thought was going to be really awkward and uncomfortable. But it has been great, especially realizing that you are not alone and others are suffering from similar experiences. Barb and staff are welcoming and helpful. The facility is always clean and has touches of home. There is always a pot of coffee. I highly recommend Goodman's for anyone struggling, going through a difficult time, or dealing with chronic issues.

This place has been very supportive and reliable through my sobriety. Both Jerry's (clinical supervisor and nurse) are wonderful and the others nurses are great too!! They are caring and extremely supportive with everything that has happened throughout my sobriety journey. Being open and honest had been the key to my success. I stayed at Hope Haven a few months ago. It's a smaller home like environment. The treatment schedule is pretty relaxed, you'll have some downtime especially on weekends. Most staff were great, some not too much but that's how it is everywhere. You get to go to the YMCA twice a week and also have fun fridays like bowling. You are also able to attend outside meetings. The food is great, the coach there cares about people and makes tons of extras. They also have art therapy and yoga twice a week. Overall it was a good experience. The downsides were having to walk a long ways to smoke, and not getting very many times to do so. Also it's nice in some ways that it's co ed, but some guys there definitely were more interested in chasing girls than recovery, which can hurt the dynamic. The chores aren't really distributed evenly, and some of the overnight crew also seemed more interested in the females there than doing their job well.

This place saved my life in so many ways!! I couldn't be more thankful! Everything depends on you will get better, and what you are willing to risk to love yourself again.

Been a transplant patient for 5 years and the nursing staff and schedules, along with Riley, are incredible in the transplant clinic. When Stepahanie sees me, she takes care of getting my appointment efficiently started. Very blessed to have been a recipient here and cant say enough good things about all those working in the transplant clinic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Indiana Centers for Recovery runs a really strong program and does things the right way. The staff actually cares, knows their stuff, and treats people with respect instead of just going through the motions. Treatment feels individualized, not one-size-fits-all, and they do a solid job addressing both substance use and mental health. The environment is supportive and structured without being overbearing. Overall, Indiana Centers for Recovery is a place I’d confidently recommend to anyone serious about recovery.

Avoid this place like the plague, i stated that i wasn’t interested in their program as i found a more promising program and over the phone they allowed their ego to get in the way of patient care, boasting and reveling, about how they have the best care in the country, if that were true you wouldnt feel the need to harras potential patients from numerous different phone numbers. Number one for mental health care?? Sure maybe if your care means enabling stalking. The replies shown are highly unprofessional and not conducive to patient care AT ALL. Looks like i made the right decision by not coming here after all, thank you so much for reinforcing my point of view! I knew i had a bad feeling about this place.

Became a member Nov 2024 and have volunteered a few hours per week for the last 7 months. This mental health support clubhouse has shown endless kindness and acceptance of my quirky presence. I receive 100 times what I can give in the form of enthusiasm for a deranged individual making small progress in Recovery from a misguided life. This collection of wonderful people show limitless support for somewhat troubled people. Everyone we have worked with at Uplands has been so helpful and a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend them enough. Their madison office is comfortable and inviting. The office staff is also helpful an accommodating.

Polly worked with myself and my husband to help us communicate better. I found her insightful, empathetic and responsive. I’m hoping to return to seeing her regularly.

No one wants to go to Urgent Care, but if you do, this is the place to go to. I Had maybe a 5 minute wait, and the staff were all wonderful. Left feeling like I was well cared for and was not rushed in and out. Thx 😊

The care that I receive from both the Appleton clinic, and Milwaukee Hospital is top notch. My only problem is that my Community Care doctors are not privy to my VA records.

When I went in last year, I didn't know quite what to expect. I only knew I couldn't function the way I was anymore, and needed help that my parents couldn't give me. The depression, guilt, anger, pain, and anxiety was so overrun in my body and mind that I wasn't able to focus for more than a few minutes. After the first 2 days there, I was able to breathe, calm down, feel hopeful and heard. I talked to a psychiatrist and we started trialing medications to figure out the "cocktail" of meds best suited for me. I got help with my sleeping, leveling out my mood, severe anxiety, and hopelessness, and was able to read a book every day during down time between group classes. I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of a miracle. It truly saved my life, I can not recall any one person's name, but every single person I met during my stay of not quite 2 weeks was friendly and warm, and made me feel good to be there, not like I did something wrong, or something was wrong with me. We expect too much of ourselves and have too much pride to show weakness in this day and age.. I know I thought that way and it almost broke me, I find myself thanking God at odd times, knowing my life would be severely different today, if I didn't have my parents take me in last year. What a blessing, I am so thankful and will go again much sooner next time if I start to see or feel some signs!

Best mental a hospital ever

I felt they were very understanding with my daughter and provided her with the treatment that she truly needed. She was hesitant at first but came around at the end. She was able to overcome some deep issues with their help. But most importantly she admitted she needed help and was open to change.

My Psychiatrist has been a find. We have hit upon a very effective med regimen. She listens and responds quickly, willing to adjust protocols as needed without stubborn ego. With my trusted therapist who has helped me immeasurably over the years I have a quality of life I could never even imagine would be mine.
