We had to go to the ER on a holiday while visiting the area for a mild respiratory issue - They were awesome, super friendly, fast, reasonable and saved our trip to the area. The dr (Cant recall name, but long dark hair) and RN Julia were just awesome, took time to explain things and just a great experience w exactly what my son needed.

My son had to have some teeth pulled. They were very patient and helped explain their process and what was going to happen. He had a huge meltdown when he saw the numbing needle but the nurse and Dr were so calm and patient with him as he took a little extra longer to mentally prepare. While it's a little hard for me to get to especially during the road construction season the clinic is about as accessable as anything else is in Madison. Reception NEVER answers the phone, I am always redirected to leave a voicemail and often it is not returned promptly. I absolutely love my therapist who has helped me make amazing progress (in comparison to several others who have tried & failed before) Unfortunately the way the phone system/reception is set up makes it very frustrating and inconvenient. I have been going to Stein for almost 10yrs!!!! I love how they find you the person your gonna work with better or have no issues if you wanted to try someone new/else..& the owners CARE about making their business the BEST it can be for person.(who doesn't want that in a business?)...PLUS I hear they even have a MT(massage therapist)on staff talk about the PERFECT me day!!!! They have even added space & more staff, check out the new kids/family waiting area!
I have been to MANY different places over the years & this one is HANDS DOWN the BEST! I have no plans on leaving especially after I saw how dedicated they were to make sure EVERY client still got services during COVID(most times could only say that about restaurants & Nurses).
I see Brie & have no plans on changing or leaving her. Just when I am at my darkest she knows somehow what to say, give advice on to try, etc. She is SO SMART yet so down to earth. Works with every age group & each client is treated differently but that's what you want right what's best for you, advice/guidance when needed, there for you good & bad, etc. You honestly really feel cared about when you think no one else does. They/she figured out how many times to needed to be seen during each season/conditions. VERY flexible.
Lastly, I'd like to give a thanks to the WHOLE STEIN FAMILY for pouring your everything into starting Wisconsin's BEST & our areas #1C & CS LTD!!!

I've been going here for a lonnng time like maybe 13 or 14 years now. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have Crystal to talk to throughout the issues Ive had. I have never met a counselor I LOVED until Gabi Koren who came highly recommended to me through UW Hospital! I have seen her for 3 different/separate specific reasons and still remain seeing her for 2 through Lake City Counseling. I actually look forward to talking with her and receiving her guidance regularly from a Women’s Virtual Group to everyday counseling. I have never felt so confident opening up to someone like I have with her and that was from the very start. I could never imagine trying to have to find someone to replace her, she is a true gift and absolutely 1 in a million, no exaggeration at all!!! I have been working with Mike Hebl at Lake City Counseling for almost six month and he is amazing. It took me years to finally find a place that could get me into weekly visits versus monthly. The receptionist is available from 9 am-2 pm, and is always very helpful and nice. I was skeptical at first because of a bad review I saw posted, so I wanted others to know that I have had the exact opposite. Mike has taught me so many daily strategies to cope with living with depression and anxiety. I highly recommend working with Lake City Counseling.
