Our son is just finishing his 4 week stay for marijuana addiction. i do not know how his long term recovery will go, but the staff at The Manor (particularly Dr Thomas) have been incredibly supportive to us. I did a tremendous amount of research prior to selecting The Manor. I have been reassured throughout this process by their caring staff. I'm so grateful that I found it.

My family was encouraging me to get help. I put it off as long as possible. If I was going to treatment, I wanted a very nice program and a private room. I finally went to The Manor. This place saved my life. The staff were very patient with me. I had been to treatment before but it was nothing like this program. I liked having individual therapy. Also, my wife and I had a lot of couples counseling. I was also able to do some work and that helped relieve stress about losing clients or my company. I have been home now for several months. It has been difficult at times but I am doing well. I have my life and my family back.

I was given an ultimatum by my wife. Go to The Manor or get a divorce. You do a lot of hard work there and within two weeks it was clear that my addiction to meth was a co addiction evolving primarily from my addiction to a controlling and mentally abusive wife. The staff is wonderful..they ask the tough questions but we do the work. I'm now happily divorced and drug free! Thank you to the amazing staff!

Having been through the WisHope Step-Down Housing Program and Wis Hope Treatment Program, I can tell you first hand, that this is a program that can change your entire life, if getting sober and improving your life is truly what you are ready for and willing to do. I struggled with the use of heroin/fentanyl/pain pills for 20 years. It wasn't WisHope that made me stop using. It was "Me" that made "Me" stop using. And it is Wis Hope that co-signed every single step I took to NOT get high every day or give in to the cravings that made me doubt everything that I was doing. Wis Hope offered me the support I needed from day to day to make sure I reached the only goal I wanted to achieve. And that was to make sure I hit my pillow every single night sober! I didn't give a damn if I didn't get one thing done on my "To-do-Lists". And then when I was ready to take the next step, Wis Hope was ALWAYS and still is right there behind me supporting me and giving me the strength I need to realize that I am worth way more than I ever gave myself credit for. They helped me find my purpose again. I have so much to be grateful and thankful for every single day. Instead of chasing that next high and wasting my time degrading and de-facing myself, I amhappy and eager in accomplishing my goals to become the best version of myself. So much that because of my determination and focus, I am now an employee for WisHope helping other people reach their goals and helping them to get past the pain and suffering I once knew all to well. I carry well the empathy needed to help others get out the vicious cycle of addiction.

This was not my first treatment, but it was definitely the best! WisHope offered me a different type of treatment using DBT that taught me skills to use in everyday life and on my sober journey. The staff members were compassionate, empathetic and also knowledgeable. Most are in recovery themselves which made their experiences more valuable to the program that helped nurture clients’ recovery process. The one on one therapy was like none I ever had, getting to the root of some of the contributors to my substance abuse. The recovery community is amazing here! I always felt heard, supported and encouraged every step of the way!

Dr. Sheedy is seriously one of those doctors I wish there were more of. He is so down to earth, so easy to talk to, and just one of those people who makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. My daughter is almost 13 and absolutely adores him, and my son is 8 and loves him too.And honestly it is crazy to me that we have been with him for EIGHT YEARS now. He literally came into our lives when my son was born. Hendrix was considered high risk because of the Rh factor issue and there was concern he could possibly need a blood transfusion. Our pediatrician at the time took a last-minute vacation, and Dr. Sheedy was the doctor who came to Waukesha Memorial Hospital and took care of him.That was pretty much it for me. We left our old pediatrician after that and have been with Dr. Sheedy ever since.He has watched my son grow from a tiny high-risk newborn into this wild 8-year-old boy, and he has watched my daughter grow into almost a teenager. He knows my kids, he talks TO them and not just over them, and he makes them feel safe. As a mom, that means everything to me. He is family friendly, honest, kind, funny, and just real. He never makes you feel dumb for asking questions and never makes you feel rushed. I truly trust him with my kids, and after 8 years I can say that with my whole heart. I really wish they made more doctors like Dr. Sheedy. We are so lucky he walked into our lives when he did!

Came in with alot of pain, but was greeted by many friendly faces. Good bed-side manner by all employees. Kept me informed frequently on my progress, and kept comfortable as best that they could. I left with the medications I needed and full instructions what to do when I get home. Follow up appt was scheduled the next day. Great care here if you need help when you to see a doctor.

I think this place benefits everyone that comes to it. There was this one guy though that kept talking about getting loads all the time. There was another guy that was born a mouse and now is growing into a rat, He smoked weed the whole Time. Made it hard to focus on my recovery. Then he did the perky dance right outta here. Kim is a wonderful staff member along with Karen. The rest of the staff isn’t bad either.

Roger's Behavioral Health Brown Deer is amazing. I had a chance to be in another Residential Facility with Roger's Health in Oconomowoc, there is a reason that people from all over the country come here to get better. I came in with a lot of things that needed to help fixing and to better know myself and my mental health. After a little over a month, I am doing so much better and going back home to my family. I came to Brown Deer adult residential having given up, feeling like I was a lot cause, and no hope that I had a chance or that they could help. They allowed me to not only come get treatment, but they gave me the tools I needed to change my life. I will be the first to admit their jobs are anything but easy, but they do a phenomenal job. I have only ever been in the adult residential side, so I cannot speak on the other units, but the adult residential program absolutely changed my life. They prioritized my safety, comfort, and taught me how to prioritize me. When I think of when I was finally able to turn my life around, Brown Deer will always be a huge part of that. The impact they had on me is truly remarkable. After 6 weeks there and completing the program I can confidently say I have confidence in myself, I love myself, I am proud of myself, I am not a lost cause, and I CAN DO HARD THINGS. I am not the same person I was at admission, not even a little bit. If you are struggling and feel like you are out of options, give this place a shot and be willing to try their advice because even when you don’t want to hear it, it works. I have good experiences there, my doctor and nurse are very nice (Dr.Baskaran &Nurse Janice) they’re very respectful and continue to provide me great care despite my indescisiveness and constant use of WebMd😆. I would like to recognize several members of the staff who made a genuinely positive impact on my recovery over the past few days. Dr. Parikh, Nurses: Brenda, Paloma, & Gabriella, Therapists: Tonya, Jordan, & Sam, Tech: Den (she was working the night of 8/15/26: I believe that was her name), and Paul (AODA) , each contributed in meaningful ways to my experience. I also want to recognize Tech: Christopher; while I didn’t directly work with him, I witnessed him help multiple patients with their needs, questions & requests; he was immediately proactive in helping patients the moment they needed help with something. Their compassion, professionalism, attentiveness, & willingness to help did not go unnoticed by us patients. There were also several other techs, nurses, & another doctor who were wonderful, although unfortunately I do not remember their names. They treated me with kindness & dignity during a time when that mattered tremendously, & I am genuinely grateful for the care they provided. In the event of a difficult situation, staff and directors are proactive to ensure that the care provided by Aurora was up to standard. I want this review to primarily recognize the people who did make a difference. Their efforts & kindness had a real impact on other patients’ & my recovery; I appreciate them more than they probably realize. Overall, sincere appreciation for the exceptional individuals who helped make a very difficult experience much easier.

An Amazing group of caring kind individuals, doing an excellent job in a very difficult environment. No one wants to be in the hospital, but you made it as easy as possible. You even have good food. I was very hesitant for years to start methadone maintenance because of the stygma- none of which were true. This place saved my life. I’ve been coming to Waukesha comprehensive treatment center for more than 2 years. I love coming here . The staff are amazing and they care immensely about their patients. Jeff the director is awesome and goes above and beyond for everyone to help them succeed. Heidi is caring ,smart n funny and always making others feel welcome Jen and Kelly are very wonderful nurses who care and are always are incredibly helpful. I’m so thankful for Spring City Corner Clubhouse. Clubhouse has never failed me. I never had a problem getting help. I have learned so much in the 14 years I’ve been a member. Clubhouse helps me with structure and isolation. Clubhouse has helped me to increase my computer skills, culinary skills and so many other tasks. I’ve been a patient of West Grove in Oak Creek for around 5 years, maybe longer. In the beginning I saw various providers for my psychiatry needs, but have been connected and consistently seeing Dr. Kurter for around 3 years now. Wow! He changed my life. I am so thankful to have him as a provider. When we met, he reassured me that there was help for what I was seeking help with and was able to connect me with medication that has made a drastic change in how I see the world. I struggled for years and years with my mental health, and what I appreciated about him was that he was so knowledgeable about what I was experiencing and could explain to me in a way that I could understand why I was experiencing certain things as well as how I could help myself and how to monitor myself in the future. He was also so helpful to me and my family when my husband and I decided to try for another baby. I think what’s kind of cool is Dr. Kurter knows me so well that he can tell when I’m struggling with my mental health or other needs based off of just a few minutes of talking. I’ve also been connected with my therapist Anna for 2-3 years now. She is amazing! She listens to me so well, and doesn’t push me too hard to get to deep into the things I need to address until I’m ready. She’s seen me at some low moments, and has taught me how to work through those times and always emphasizes taking care of myself. I also appreciate Elizabeth at the front desk. She knows me by my nick name, since I don’t generally go by my full name, and I seriously appreciate that because i don’t have to explain who I am over and over again, she just knows. Elizabeth always helps me schedule appointments out months at a time, which is super helpful for my scheduling needs. Honestly, Dr. Kurter and Anna are always super flexible in their scheduling as well, which is super helpful. Elizabeth also helps me figure out any insurance questions I have, which is so helpful because I can be kind of clueless about co pays and all that stuff. I also forgot to mention, I absolutely love that I can see my therapist through telehealth. I have a newborn and it’s just much easier to not have to travel with her when I have an appointment. I love West Grove so much and appreciate what they’ve done for my life so much that I’ve actually referred 2 other people for care here. I truly mean it when I say, if you’re looking for providers who care about you as a whole person, I definitely recommend going to West Grove.

I see Carol and it has been life changing. I have had several therapists over the years and none that have helped me get to the core issues like Carol has. Talk therapy is good and all, but in my experience it can only take me so far. EMDR has been what I've been missing. I went in to see her looking to HEAL. It's been a process, and it's been hard. But I've addressed issues that have been within me since childhood and there's still so much to uncover. Facing my past with Carol has given me hope. I guide my sessions and it all depends on the level of honesty I want to face. I've referred her to co-workers and family members. I wish everyone the type of freedom that comes from working on yourself and healing. And I wish everyone a therapist that's as experienced as Carol is.

This is, by leaps and bounds, the best clinic that I have ever been to in my life.
