My journey with High County Behavioral Health has been life changing. I started coming to counseling sessions over 2 years ago with many issues that I thought were not issues in my life. I have seen several counselors due to retirement (Tereasa) moving to Alabama (Jason) to my current counselor (Sarah) who have been game changers for me. Through their dedication expertise understanding empathy care concern shall I go on.....their mindfulness witty always there for you environment has meant the world to me. Candice who is behind the scenes also has a place in my heart. The organization of 1-1 Counseling and the MRT DBT Group therapy classes are what make my mental health healthy!!!! I have also been blessed to speak with the Afton ladies who are always there to help. I am feeling blessed. I never want to leave lol.......

I am so glad I started working with High Country Behavior Health for my mental health needs. My therapist, Charity, has literally saved my mental health and has provided me the tools to enhance how I approach emotionally trying times. I have actively tried to recover from addiction for more than 10 years. Southwest Counseling was my 7th attempt at treatment. I failed to get what I needed to recover from 6 previous treatment centers across the country. Countless thousands of dollars were spent in an attempt to relieve my suffering from Alcoholism. It wasn’t until attending the Therapeutic Community Program at Southwest Counseling Service (S.C.S) that a solution was found. I can unequivocally and without a doubt say that S.C.S has saved my life. This program works. If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction I highly recommend S.C.S. be your first and likely only place to receive assistance in overcoming the effects of this illusive disease. Through the program I was able to discover the underlying cause of my ailment and more importantly how to navigate life without the need of substances to make life more bearable. It is in fact a difficult program, but a difficult problem demands a complex solution and is well worth the short term discomfort to achieve lifelong happiness. I only wish someone had ushered me to S.C.S sooner, I know a lot of heartbreak and suffering could have been spared. If you are like me and live with the cruel affliction of addiction please contact S.C.S. and let them help you discover a new life. You’re worth it, and you’re not alone. Craig Davis

Little over a year ago I took my son to the ER. Didn’t know what was going on with him but the nursing staff and their training saved my son’s life. He was diabetic and I never knew for how long but thanks to the nurses in the ER. They found out what was wrong and we were flown out ASAP. Today he is alive and well and we have him on an insulin pump. We are adjusting well with his new life and I wake up daily and look at my boy and I’m so thankful he’s here after seeing him so sick and us showing up that night while he was going into DKA. So again. Thank you to the night shift nurses working that night! There are no words to describe how thankful I am! I’m sure my boy is thankful too but he’s just a normal 13 year old in his own world these days! Haha

My time at Curran-Seeley is, to date, the most important time in my life. Thanks to their empathetic, kind counselors, and elastic curriculum, I have been able to maintain my sobriety for over 5 years. The coping tools that Curran-Seeley helped me cultivate have been priceless and crucial to my ongoing success in sobriety. Accepting personal responsibility is hard (which, I suspect is the cause of these lower ratings), but when I finished treatment at Curran-Seeley, I was emotionally stronger, had rediscovered my morals/values, and became a person whose skills and talents have been employed to help others who are struggling. I owe my life to my time spent with Curran-Seeley.

This was my first time in residential treatment. I’ve struggled with alcohol/addiction for the majority of my life. I found real help here (for my mental health as well). I found real people here. It was honestly some of the best weeks of my life. If any of my family or friends are struggling with drinking/using I will refer them here. This is a special place. A place that fosters cultivation of real personal growth. I’m currently in their IOP program after graduating residential, and it’s excellent aftercare. This place changed my life. Of course it came with challenges; but the environment, culture, and staff here are all great. I’m the one who had to commit to recovery, but this is the place to do it.

I don't even know where to start... In my darkest of times, when I felt so lost, hopeless, and worthless and I felt like the world was better off without me, I walked into these doors. And it felt like home. I felt warmth, love, and a sense of security. I had people surround me, and walk with me through some of the worst things in my life. And they showed me how to look inside and find what it was at my core that had left me feeling so empty. They showed me how to fill it with self love, forgiveness, understanding, and confidence. And I have used every moment of my time there as stepping stones and a foundation in everyday of my life since. I truly wouldn't be alive today without this place and all of the staff.

Wow, what an amazing time I have had! Flying in from North Carolina, MK, Sean and Becca were really helpful and respectful of my needs for sobriety. MK, guided me through Admissions and played a key part during my time at Pinnacle. I was worried at first that this facility was just like any other rehabs. Just a common money grab, but to my surprise Pinnacle really wants the best for you. After coming from NextStep Detox, I was greeted by Anthony and Sean! They gave me a great orientation and the clients gave me a warm welcome! Becca and Sean over saw our programming and were very helpful with personal development and were very attentive regarding outside needs during treatment. If I needed to see my legal team or doctors, etc. Becca and Sean would take took time out of their schedule to assist me. The support staff are very friendly, they treated me like I was their best friend. If I got out of line the support staff would help correct me in a way that wasn’t punitive. Anthony and Brooke are both in recovery and so is most staff, they really cared about your sobriety, and will guide you through recovery. The food scene is amazing, nutritious and very healthy. Chef Ed is off the chart, a great chef. I’m not a salmon fan, but he made me a delicious meal to substitute for Salmon! Chef Ed picks fresh foods, so nothing is old or boring! The Interns, and therapists really want to see you be successful. My therapist Julie has gone above and beyond when it came to help my mental health. Her approach to mental health is really awe inspiring. I really appreciate Cassie, Cory and Londyn help as well! The activities are made to help you feel comfortable while working on yourself. Troy, MK, Sean and Becca have built a truly remarkable treatment facility. From Mental Health treatment, to the recreational activities, their passion to help clients are more than I expected. What an incredible journey recovery has been! I came to this place—and wow, I’ve never experienced anything so beautiful in my life. The people who work here are truly extraordinary—so kind, compassionate, and full of love. Honestly, they feel like angels walking among us. Pinnacle Recover is amazing. All of the staff go over the top to meet your expectations. The program gives you everything you need to achieve your goals and gives you all the tools you need to help you in recovery. The food is outstanding, Chef Ed is so compassionate about his cooking. I've never had a well balanced diet as good as it was at Pinnacle. The activities you get to enjoy are so much fun. Sober softball, hiking, bowling, batting cages, ice baths, open mic night are some of my favorites. The facility is more than adequate, its an amazing house that is filled with comfort. Overall, Pinnacle has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel as if my life is starting over and I get the opportunity to be happy again. Shout out to Katie my therapist for all the help and knowledge she has given me. I'm ready to go out into the world and face all the challenges it brings head on. Thank you Pinnacle!!

I am honored to write a review for Spirit Mountain Recovery. I truly cannot say enough about the quality of their programming, the professionalism of the staff, and the commitment to putting resources directly back into a program that genuinely cares. Our family has extensive experience with rehabilitation facilities. Two of our sons have been through many programs - we have done the research, tried them, and paid for them. Because of this, we know what works, what is real and what isn't. Do not waste your time hesitating - Spirit Mountain Recovery is truly exceptional. The leadership here is real and deeply committed. These are people that will move heaven and earth to help save lives. This program will build you back up, hold you accountable to do the work, fully integrate families ino the healing process and support you with genuine care and compassion. Every staff that works there is compassionate, present, and deeply invested in the success of the men in their care. Their dedication, integrity and heart are what make all the difference. There is no facility that compares to what Spirit Mountain offers. Our family is profoundly grateful. Eileen Ballard

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.
