2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

This place is wonderful, they were treating pregnant woman back 2015 when myself an others felt we had no hope, NO ONE would touch us. They live & breathe recovery. They're local to the area, An yes a smaller office but don't lack in the resources to help you and the actual drive to do so! An if Dr.Logan doesn't have a book out by now...he should consider doing so! He's one of the most knowledgeable in the state regarding M.A.T-Outpatient Treatment. They accept most insurances (yes, including Medicaid) So don't wait till tmro (again) like I did. Call them!

I have been going to the Lecanto VA clinic for many years. I believe I have interacted with every front desk person there , Denise,Kandi, Cheryl, Patti, Tania Dena and Suzanne. Sorry if I left anybody out. They have all been friendly, funny and helpful. I have seen them remain respectful in less than desirable encounters. It is usually the unhappy who post the reviews but I think they should be commended for the work they do for us.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to begin my recovery than Sabal Palms. The group classes go deep into the Psychology of addiction and help you understand the why so that you can address underlying issues that lead to substance abuse. They help provide a framework of healthy behaviors and coping skills. The group and the community you build with fellow residents is truly a family. The food was amazing and abundant, and the nature and scenery provides a serene environment for daily self reflection and mindfulness. I will always be grateful to them and can never thank them enough for what they did. I was apprehensive about going somewhere for 30 days, but it went by in a blink of an eye.

I was one of the 1st set of girls from Rhode Island. I graduated camp in 1984. One of the best counselors was Pam. The program changed me for the good. I remember meeting the Eckerd's at their beach house. Also they had made a commercial and filmed my group and I. So many canoe, hiking trips.. memories lasting a lifetime. I've had a successful life due to the skills I learned at camp. Husband and I recently retired & ready to enjoy our grandchildren. I recommend this program and their core values. It’s hard leaving a review for this, but to any parents out there, I’m super thankful for The Vines and the staff there. Super communicative, if I had any questions they answered them. It was the most stressful and anxiety inducing week of my life having a child in there, but they were kind, helpful, and supportive providing the help my child needed. The nurses and staff went out of their way to get food to accommodate allergies. I’m thankful for the care and therapy received, and most of all that they were safe.

way better then meridian imo, food was top tier, and staff are kind, the biggest and really only downside is that they change their minds too much and cleanliness could be better, but otherwise would recommend especially if you're in Ocala

Our daughter was going through a tough time in her life. She was in need of help. The facility was able to stabilize her, and worked very hard to find her a place that could help her further. My son had been at this facility from November to December 2024. The entire staff was wonderful and really helped him transition to the next facility as part of his therapy journey. This is why I went to them again. Michael and Michelle the intake nurses were the same staff members who had helped my son and still remembered him and that was a big help. It was a scary experience for me but thanks so much to the staff, especially Jamie the risk manager, who went out of their way to help me and achieve the necessary solution to my issues. Everyone is nice, compassionate and understanding. I definitely recommend this facility if it applies to your mental heath journey.

It was my first time taking my son there today. Sam connected with my son in a very meaningful way! He really genuinely seemed to care for his well being. That meant the world to my son and I. I previously reviewed this practice, and this is to add on to my initial findings. The staff and all personnel working there are truly five star, as I stated previously!!!! However , I injured myself and needed an appointment last Monday. My Dr. Dr London was enjoying a well deserved vacation, and I was asked if I would like to see Dr. Gerard Casale. I agreed and I am here to say after meeting and being examined, I was so happy that Dr. Casale was able to exactly diagnose the problem, and he prescribed the proper medication for the proper time, and the proper strength!!!! It has been a week now, and I’m almost back to normal!!!! Dr. Casale said it would take 7 to 10 days. Being older at 62 years of age, I’ll take the full 10 days. I’m in no hurry!!!!!! Simed medical has done it again!!!!! When my five star Dr. Heather London is on vacation, no problem, as long as I can see my five star Dr Gerard Casale, I am very happy and very well taken care of !!!!! I am so pleased with the Super Dr. Gerard Casale, and there is no practice that I will go to for my primary care other than this Simed medical, because I only allow myself to be treated by the best physicians!!!!!!!! Dr. London and Dr. Casale are the best in the business. Thank you Dr. Casale and, I am so proud and honored to be your patient, and the gratitude I feel for you, and Dr. London, and all the staff is so strong, I am very unique patient, and I am very knowledgeable medically. Because of this I feel I have the credentials to write these reviews. What I have presented to you is actual fact, I have to be examined and treated by ONLY Dr. London or Dr. Casale , because they understand respect and honor the needs of a patient, who is like no other patient. Trust me, I am very different than the majority of our population, and I need to be treated like a very different and special individual!!!! These two doctors are on a scale of one to ten, they are both ten,at treating me correctly and then properly. In Ocala, I had major problems with 2 other practitioners, and now I have finally found a home!!!!!

I had a very pleasant experience at TRV. Aside from being told things on the phone before admission the whole program was excellent. Most of the therapists are knowledgeable & understanding. The rooms were as expected, & the roommate situation was more than I could have asked for. I guess I got lucky bc others didn’t have the same to say. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired, especially in the bathroom, but since we keep up after ourselves it was tolerable. The food is great & options are given upon request if the menu isn’t to your liking. I made lifelong friendships and look forward to the IOP sessions upon my release. I learned so much about myself & through the family sessions my family understands me better. I could go on and on… 3/18/2024 Revision I don’t want to change anything I said before, just add to it. The fam sessions end when u leave, like it didn’t matter to TRV in the first place. The communication between staff/directors to patients is lacking in efficiency, guidance, & meticulousness. They have very scripted answers to FAQs that don’t always apply to specific situations. They act like they’re helping u to ur face but once u walk away they stop what they were doing & move on to the next shiny thing, leaving ur case incomplete. Upon discharge I was told things I shouldn’t have been told and NOT told things I needed to know. All weren’t important until it was too late to be rectified bc I had already left. My RXs had been filled & picked up, leaving me unable to fill them at my preferred pharmacy bc the insurance company said it was too soon to refill. I spent the first 3 hours on my 1st day home on the phone with & between 2 pharmacies and my insurance company. They set a cpl appts for me but then failed to tell me where to go & when. The app they told me to download has to have a credit/debit card on file before u can go any further to attend any video appts. My family called for days (with ROIs) & were sent to vm over & over, never spoke with a human, or left messages that I never received. People I was there with had paperwork that needed done (FMLA, SSI, Disability, lost driver’s license, etc) & it was neglected atrociously without remorse/apology, just excuses. If u plan on going to sober living, have a plan. They will let u discharge with no where to go no matter how long they made u stay for a “completion.” The AA/NA groups are great but only NA has frequent speakers so I had to choose to go to NA instead of AA to get the inspirational message speakers give. Although, Alyssa’s Bigbook study guide class is very good, and I have continued everyday, I did have to miss some of them bc I wanted to hear the speakers in NA. The other groups are great at making the point over & over so if u missed something the first few times, it’s ok bc u will be exposed to it a few more times. The info is useful & applicable to real life situations. U will not speak to a therapist more than once a week, the horses are only available to those that are IOP, church attendance & family visits are only offered to those in PHP, & the pool is not heated (“broken”). These are all things I discovered after I was admitted, & told otherwise on the phone. The techs are FANTASTIC!!! They’re helpful, kind, patient, & willing to do anything for their patients. but evidently have favorites. Luckily, I learned early on who those are & chose to go to the others that don’t seem to favor one patient over another. They do nothing when things are stolen, which only frustrated me more. Someone stole my fav hoodie out of the dryer, 2 coffee cups in 2 days, & had my bag gone into only to find my coloring pencils & 2 pens gone. Other people there experienced the same thievery & nothing was done abt it. They have cameras but I was told it takes too long to look back on the footage. If anything, I thought they would be interested in, at the very least, Identifying thief(s). Anyway, I’m still so grateful for my experience at TRV, & want to say thank u to all those that work there for the right reasons, u know who u are!

I had no prior knowledge of where to go, and as my first rehab experience I was honestly terrified. From the very first call, the admissions staff were kind and patient, answering every question and making me feel comfortable and welcome. From the moment I arrived, the entire team went above and beyond. The staff truly feel like family—they know your name, care about your story, and give you personal attention every step of the way. The setting is close-knit and never overcrowded, so I never once felt like just a number or a statistic. Instead, it felt like home. I recently saw Dr. Oliva and her staff and I've seen a lot of Doctors over the years but very few have been as awesome as this. Virgina, the Doctors Program Director has been extremely helpful with many diffrent obsticals and she has gone above and beyond to help with everything. She even helped me out during Thanksgiving while she was with her family on the road. Dr. Oliva has been extremly helpful and isn't just there to call the shots but she listens and wants to hear you out and make sure you're happy with you're quality of care. If you ever are ready to get off the drugs you are on, this is the place that will help you get it done. They truly do care and are really trying to help you. Best thing that has happened to me in about 10 years. If you're really ready to get help this is the place to get it. But only if you're ready. Don't waste their time or money. Because if you're not ready I'm sure there's someone else out there who is. So don't take that spot up if you're not serious and ready. Because someone else needs it. Update; It has been about 6 years and still doing great. It's worth it. If your ready make the call and get the help. They make things so much easier. And make it possible. I came to this looking for help for alcohol and found I really needed the help with mental health care. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the surroundings are so Serene and peaceful. There are no amount of words I could give for the gratitude I have for what this place is giving me back to me in my life. I am truly grateful. I went to Mending Fences to get help with my debilitating anxiety. From the time I arrived at the facility I was met with friendly and compassionate staff. The admission process was very professional, very timely and the staff made me feel safe. Concerning the program, Mending Fences focused on a personal track of a healing process designed specifically for me. I was assigned a Therapist (shout-out to Jeremy) who patiently worked with me to guide me through the healing process. Every therapists that led groups were dedicated to making learning different modalities wether - CBT, ART, OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, EXERCISE AND MUSIC - Fun and engaging! From playing volleyball, shooting basketball hoops, bon fires and even an open mic night! Unfortunately, due to a health issue I had to leave the program - this was very disheartening for me - but the Psychiatrist , therapists and staff made the exiting process a great experience for me! Just to mention, these people try to accommodate me so that I could continue the program - it amazed me how much effort they put in - thanks 🙏 One last thing the facility and the grounds were beautiful! One last thank you to all the staff, techs , therapists and Doctors who helped me 🙏🙏 Rex

SUPER AWESOME PLACE THAT LIVES UP TO THERE WORD TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER THAN WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVED ALL THE STAFF ARE EXCEPTIONAL AT ALL THE JOBS. JEREMY, MY VETERAN THERIPIST WAS VERY GOOD AT SHOWING ME THE RIGHT ROAD TO RELIEVE MY SYMPTOMS SYMPTOMS OF SOCIAL ANXIETY AND TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON. THE FOOD AND KITCHEN STAFF WAS AWESOME. THE CLEANING/LAUNDRY STAFF ARE ALL GREAT AT THERE JOBS. THE MEDICAL STAFF ARE VERY GOOD AT MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER. JASON WITH ADMISSIONS WAS EXCELLENT AT GETTING INFORMATION I NEEDED. ALL THE MEDICAL TECHS WERE EXCELLENT...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND THEY HAVE AN EXCELLENT VETERAN PROGRAM. Its a nice facility, medical care is a little messed up but besides that its a wonderful place and campus 😊. They may change you're meds doses or just flat out not give you them a lot of people have left because of that. Shelly the clinical director can be a little passive aggressive and if you get on her bad side it can mess up most of you're stay here. Everyone else is wonderful Wades the best case manager and helped me with a lot and Matt my therapist is wonderful and has helped me work through a lot of issues. BRING BUG SPRAY!

The Refuge, specifically the therapist Deborah, has been a major blessing for me. As an 18 year old addict, I’ve been a mess from a young age. The Refuge offers a place of healing and unconditional love for any and everybody willing to do the work. This has been my third facility, and I’ve never made so much groundbreaking progress in so little time. If you are ready for sobriety and healing COME HERE!!!

I’m not a patient, I bring family members here, so this is a caregiver’s perspective. Both patients I bring express that they’ve connected well with their therapist and Dr. They are benefiting from services, which are offered on a sliding scale for those without insurance. May be $0 for people with no income and no insurance. I’m grateful these services are available in our community!! If I ever need to, I will go here. And Heather, (front office) you are always so kind and so helpful. We appreciate you so much!
