To start, I am someone who has to live everyday by working to manage my several diagnoses... I will always need psychiatric medication and that's ok! I was facing new and extreme insurance issues that prevented me from getting very important psychiatric medication that I've been on for years. Mountain Lakes went above and beyond. In a very scary time for me...)pay $700/mo for one rx which was unfeasible..or be checked into the hospital)... They picked me up and took me to my appts and worked with the insurance company for months until they got my medicine covered! I also felt I wasn't heard during my psych eval and felt I had an additional diagnosis. After a year of therapy and psychiatrist appts, they did amend my diagnosis..they listened to me and had evidence to back their diagnosis. They did right by me. Sarah Dettweiler is the psychiatrist I have been seeing and she's very good at what she does..she's calm and very nice..not intimidating and listens! Brenda..I had an episode at her when I was waiting for my medicine and this sweet lady was always very very nice. Also I had a few counselors I wasn't happy with and they switched me to Brittany...she's truly the best I've ever had. I feel my care is safe in their hands and I trust them!

I had an extremely abusive childhood. It takes a lot for me to learn to open up. I’d been hospitalized over 20 times in 3 years for hurting myself. I never thought I’d be able to get even slightly better. I was told I was going to live in a facility for the mentally ill and disabled. But i have one last try here! I’m harm free for over a year! I have job, car, and house. I’ve succeeded. Thanks to everyone here. And you can too. 💕

A lot of your quality of life in treatment here is going to depend on which counselor you get. I have had Greaaaaattttt counselors here who are very helpful and not overly strict when you have earned that right but I've also had others who are not great counselors and clearly do not want to be there. I have upped my review to 4 of 5 stars because I finnaly have a amazing counselor again. Still could be better im a 32 year old perfectly healthy young man and a physical being required every 3 months is just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to wait 2 hours+ to even see the doctor for that physical. Also not being aloud to dose untill completing my physical is ridiculous since the wait time is so long. Ive never dosed then left without completely doing everything required of me so I shouldn't be treated like ive done something wrong.

I would like to share my review of Huntsville Metro Treatment center because how much the staff here has done for me. Everyone from my personal counselor Ms.Gooden, to my support specialist Mr Hughey and administrator Mr. Terry. Even their billing team went out of their way to help me get set up on the day they could see me and also helped me find benefits that I did not know were available. Dr. Atchley is a great Dr. and you will see he cares about everyone. The nurses are very professional and caring as well. For as many patients that they have to see and treat daily it’s amazing the treatment they continue to bring daily. This is a great place for treatment.

Recently took my 15 year old son in for a respiratory illness and I rarely ever leave reviews for any place even if I’m fully satisfied with the service but the care we received at Synergy called for a review. The staff was friendly, the nurses were kind and showed compassion for my son, the doctor ensured that all possibilities were looked into and prescribed him medication that addressed possibilities that were not necessarily present in the testing but I believe to prevent my son from having to return to an ER. They were more thorough in trying to diagnose him than any conventional hospital or doctor’s office that I have ever been to and the self pay pricing was much less than I expected for the services rendered! I will most definitely be returning for any future medical needs that they provide services for. I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of my son!
