The person I took to this facility DID NOT want to go but he needed help so he dealt with it, and he was glad he did by the time he was released. The counselors were knowledgeable and guided them from experience instead of preaching about things they had no clue about. Thank you Cedar Lakes for what you are doing to help people with nothing left in them.

Definitely better before BHG took over but still grateful for it. Most of the staff is great. Folks talking about security must not know them very well. And getting locked out. Every think your watch maybe off goofballs. Anyway I suggest come earlier.

I am extremely grateful for this clinic I started going Monday July 17, within 2ish hours all the paperwork was done,, all the pertinent questions had been answered, I was assigned a counselor and had been given my medication, and I was on my way back home! The staff are very kind, understanding, and helpful! 10/10 extremely satisfied, definitely recommend themni if you need help!

The Nova center works with my school. They are very professional and caring with the adults and children under their care. Ms. Bland, especially, is very attentive and caring when it comes to the clients she serves.

I've had a great experience with Ms. NeQuaisha Bland as my therapist. Her approach is both engaging and supportive, making therapy sessions feel comfortable and positive. She always incorporates calming exercises that help me manage stress and anxiety, which I find really useful in my daily life. I appreciate how she takes the time to explain techniques that promote relaxation and mental well-being. Overall, I feel like she s truly invested in helping me improve my mental health, and I always leave our sessions feeling more at ease.

Mrs. Bland is a great person to work with! Always full of life and energy! Need more people like her!

Everyone there is nice, haven't had any issues. I love all doctors and nurses that I have seen, very helpful helps you understand things that you are about to be experiencing and gets you thur it.

Feels safe, clean and the staff is wonderful! Nurses really care about their patients and their jobs! Our sister was there and they took amazing care of her.

To start, I am someone who has to live everyday by working to manage my several diagnoses... I will always need psychiatric medication and that's ok!I was facing new and extreme insurance issues that prevented me from getting very important psychiatric medication that I've been on for years. Mountain Lakes went above and beyond. In a very scary time for me...)pay $700/mo for one rx which was unfeasible..or be checked into the hospital)... They picked me up and took me to my appts and worked with the insurance company for months until they got my medicine covered! I also felt I wasn't heard during my psych eval and felt I had an additional diagnosis. After a year of therapy and psychiatrist appts, they did amend my diagnosis..they listened to me and had evidence to back their diagnosis. They did right by me. Sarah Dettweiler is the psychiatrist I have been seeing and she's very good at what she does..she's calm and very nice..not intimidating and listens! Brenda..I had an episode at her when I was waiting for my medicine and this sweet lady was always very very nice. Also I had a few counselors I wasn't happy with and they switched me to Brittany...she's truly the best I've ever had. I feel my care is safe in their hands and I trust them!

I had an extremely abusive childhood. It takes a lot for me to learn to open up. I d been hospitalized over 20 times in 3 years for hurting myself.I never thought I d be able to get even slightly better. I was told I was going to live in a facility for the mentally ill and disabled. But i have one last try here!I m harm free for over a year! I have job, car, and house. I ve succeeded. Thanks to everyone here. And you can too.

This is the first place that's ever truly helped me. They actually seem to care and want to get you help as soon as possible each time. They know they are working with mentally ill patients and are extremely understanding of circumstances in your life. They deserve every bit of 5*

I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients.I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

I was impressed with Mekiah (hopefully I got the spelling right). She answered all off my questions professionally and was a customer service pro. I worked in customer service for over a decade, so it's is very hard to get a 5 star review from me. She is wonderful and I hope she gets a raise!

The counselors are very attentive toward the patient's needs, the setting is discreet and pleasant. All the people who work in Alabama Psychological Services Center are professionals dedicated to improving the life to the people who are suffering. They really do care about the patients.

This is one of the best hospitals i have had to use. The staff was so friendly & kind. Dr. Allison was marvelous & so were his nurses .

First experience with HH and I was impressed at all levels. Nice facilities,professional people and a positive outcome.
