My wife of 52 years passed a way in 2021. I began seeing a counselor after I had back surgery in 2022. About a year later I had to relocate to Lonoke County. I was experiencing complicated grief and depression and needed someone to listen to what I had to say instead of just telling me what to do. I started seeing Shannan at Arisa, several months ago. Shannan, who was young enough to be my granddaughter, had the ability to help me feel better after each session. Unfortunately, Shannan went to work at another clinic in Little Rock a few weeks ago. Her move seems like another loss and now I only hope I can see another counselor who will give me the attention that Shannan did. My experience with Shannan at Arisa was very positive. I’m hoping to find another counselor who can continue helping me with my grief and depression the way she did.

I love Natural State Recovery Centers and the people working there. They are so compassionate and the classes are taught by Masters Level Clinicians which is one of the only facilities in Arkansas that does that. The food is great, oh and they have a track and basketball gym...plus goats!

I went here for a few months for help with tapering off of benzos that I had been prescribed for anxiety. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out.

I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. My son was making every excuse in the world to me and I was believing him instead of someone who has walked in his shoes. Again thank you Michael and Natural State Recovery.

My name is Casey Green and I just love my Dr and the ladies in the office here. Including Sam in group. I guess the people saying they are rude must have been rude to them first because they have always been kind and very understanding to me. I've been going there almost 5 years and they probably saved my life and I thank them so much for the help they have given and are still giving me. A lil pricey but each Dr. Can only have a certain amount of patients so they have to charge enough to make it worth doing without losing money!!!

Very nice. Staff were open, welcoming, and friendly. Waiting room was large, with a nice window wall with a view of a small courtyard with a fountain. Best physc. Doctor ever! DR. West is everything I ever need for my mental health medications, he listens fully and is friendly. The mental health counselors are wonderful and the day program is full of wonderful clients and it's 3 days a week m-w. 8:30 - 2:00pm and there are 2 sides 1 for adults and the other for children. All under 1 massive roof! Come check it out and probably get all your mental health needs addressed.

I was in a dark place when I sought counseling at PCA. They helped me when I had no job or insurance. The saw my need and put me with someone immediately. This isn't the most modern office building in NLR, but these people care; not just docs but the office staff as well. Best place I've gone in my 28 years. We really like the doctors we've met while using this clinic for our sons. Dr. Hall is great. The therapist seems really good too. The staff is friendly and polite. Sometimes getting refills on prescriptions takes longer than we need it to - so there is some kind of communication issue going on between staff and physicians. Otherwise I'd say 5/5. I'd recommend it still to other folks.

This was all an helpful experience and it helped her mental health a lot more she came home smiling more and she doesn’t stay in her room as much as she used to her depression and anxiety has been a lot better and I strongly feel like it helped her and I strongly recommend this hospital than any other hospital.

Ok so I haven't been to this place in almost 10 years so just bare with me, but out of all the facilities I've been to this was probably one of if not the best one I've come across, y'all I can't tell you how many times I've been here (which probably isn't a good thing) but let's just say pretty much all the staff knew me by 1st middle and last name 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but in all seriousness the staff really did show that they care a lot about the kids there and it was honestly not as bad as some people may think, just go in with the mindset of getting better and bettering yourself and you'll do fine. Definitely would recommend if you need a little extra help, these people know what they're doing!!!

They feed u, make sure u have clothes, supply you with essential hygiene items, the foods pretty good here except lunch it sucks. This place will get u a job fairly quickly, transport you where u need to go, make sure you're there on time, the staff here respect you and are willing to help you in any way they can. This is a faith based program so most classes here will teach you to rely on God, however they respect any religious beliefs you may have. If you get fired from your job most of the time they WILL kick you out. The mattresses are very comfy. They have pool tables! Oh and there's a store right next door, but you can only go once a week and on the third Saturday of every month they take you to Walmart. And periodically they take u to goodwill. No drugs, no fighting, very clean place. I like it here but you can't leave so freedom is limited. they do let you smoke but no vaping. Not a bad place, it's a lot better than prison!!!

Your first 30 days you got to remember ,Maintaining abstinence from drugs and alcohol Paying rent and other fees Participating in house chores Attending house meetings Following curfews Respecting other residents and staff Being a team player Agreeing to random drug and alcohol tests. the lot rules to go by . I watched people get kicked out and that might sound bad but it not . Let me explaine . they start shooting crooked , lying , going behind staff back and thinking they are being slick . no cell phone till you go Block House then you got ask to have one . you got work CQ answering phone and other things ,sighn in and out of bathroom . you get 10 minute shower no longer . write up comes with extra duty ,washing dishes ,cleaning bathrooms floors , meeting room ,washing cars . when you leave you be diffrent person but it fresh start for you so never take it hard and think you being punished . I did extra work like pick trash up around building . just work program and you see better person inside you .

I just had a procedure at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock and everyone was super caring, attentive, reassuring , professional and very exceptional and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. It is super clean. Dr Ralph Henderson is my urologist who did my procedure. I highly recommend Dr R Henderson. He is great and smart. The anesthesiologist was so nice, and understanding of my fears of being put under at age 66. I felt completely safe with him and like he knew how to do his job perfectly and keep me alive. I think many of these reviews about a grumpy nurse or a doctor who was so late or didn't show up, should be on that doctor's review page. At my age , I have been in the hospital many times. Some nurses are just burnt out. Some love being a nurse and some discovered they don't care enough about people to be a nurse. They should do something else. But the hospital has a low rating for these reasons and I was really afraid to be there. But it was the opposite of what I expected and one of the best hospital experiences of my life, if that can be said about being in a hospital. I hope more people put reviews that are not bad because of a dismissive nurse. You can get the nurses name and complain directly to the hospital. The way ya'll are doing here, the hospital doesnt know which nurse to discipline or let go. I was in a different state's hospital once, NOT Baptist Health AR. and I woke up during an invasive surgery. Pain level 50. Now that's something to complain about.
