I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience at Bridge. I've been attending counseling here for nearly a year, and I wanted to specifically recognize Elizabeth for her diligence, professionalism, and genuine expertise as both a counselor and group facilitator. Elizabeth has been nothing short of exceptional. To date, we've exchanged over 40 emails, and there has not been a single instance where she failed to respond or took longer than an hour or two to reply with thoughtful advice and guidance. That alone speaks volumes about her commitment and credibility, but it only scratches the surface. Beyond her responsiveness, Elizabeth has consistently served as an anchor of support, not only for me but for everyone in the program. She brings a level of attentiveness and care to her work that makes you feel like you genuinely matter, which, based on some of the other reviews here, I understand isn't always a given. In my experience, and in the experience of my peers, it has been. I've also been fortunate enough to work with many of the other counselors and staff here, including Sam, Bill, Lance, and others who have all contributed to making this a genuinely supportive environment. Elizabeth may be the reason I'm writing this review, but she's part of a team that deserves recognition across the board.

I am having a great experience here! I have learn so much from my therapist Stephanie C. about relationships, well being and mental stability in difficult environments. She has done amazing work with us in group therapy and is always emotionally present for one -on one sessions. Front desk is always attentive from my point of view. People need to learn to treat people they way that they want to be treated. Make and effort to pay it forward people!

An amazing group of individuals helping those of us who not only want or need help, but are there helping us work through not only our addictions but emotions. 10 out of 10 Would recommend if you’re in need… pretty much anything that will make you feel better about yourself by helping you… understand yourself. And it’s nice to sit in a group of peers judgement free. There is nothing but love pouring out of this place. And as a side note after reading lower rated posts. I have no insurance and they have done absolutely nothing more than help me and be there for me. Please if you feel you need some help, give them a call. It’s worth it.

I have been coming here since they opened. It's a very clean, new office. They have a lab on site and if you go in the A M they send your blood draw up to VA North Port and the lab work is ready the next day for your appointment at North Port VA. Very friendly, courteous and professional.

Used these services for a loved one in crisis. While there are always flaws no matter where you go, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I have personally witnessed for four years many people succeed who are committed to changing their lives. Truth is you have to not only want it but also be willing to work for it. There comes a point in an addict's life where they will do anything to change their circumstances and patterns of behavior that led to their current state, and those are the clients that succeed at Odyssey, or anywhere else.

I was a Patient there for approximately 9 months. A Wonderful Atmosphere and you’re surrounded by ppl who Really Care. Especially the Counselors, My Counselor in Particular. Her Name was Jenn. A Wonderful Person and an Absolute Dear young Lady. She was Extremely informative and Knows just how to make you feel Comfortable and Cared For. I was going through a Rough patch, but looked Forward to my meetings with her every week and Every time I left her office, I ALWAYS FELT BETTER AND FELT LIKE SOMEONE CARED.. I can Honestly Say, Meeting Jenn was a Highlight of my Time there. I only left there because I found a place Much Closer to my home out East. But my Counselor there will always be close to my heart. And I Thank Her Dearly. All in all, a Wonderful Place to Get Clean and Stay Clean 👍🏻😁

In 2001, I walked into St. Christopher’s Inn broken and lost in addiction. I’ve been sober ever since. Out of all the places I went, this was the place where it finally clicked for me. Their long term program and tough love approach were exactly what I needed no sugarcoating, no excuses, just real recovery and real accountability. If you’re truly tired of the life of drug abuse and genuinely want to change, I highly recommend St. Christopher’s Inn. The staff, the structure, and the brotherhood helped save my life. I still try to go back every summer for their annual picnic because that place will always mean something special to me. I owe them more than words can explain. God bless everyone there.

I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. My counselor was amazing, the physco therapist helped me realize things on my own and a former resident who is now staff related to my issues making me comfortable with the process. That guy was a godsend. These people helped me with my addiction issues more in 6 months then I’ve been able to do over the last 30 years. I now have hope and a blueprint that I follow to live a life in recovery. I could never thank them enough

Great service offered to persons in need they have a methadone clinic and a residence. It is like a one-stop shop except there is no detox service offered. There are groups and structured programs for clients. I know of persons who have used the service and are now successful. If they did it, so can others. Hi everybody! I am a current resident at Samaritan village's inpatient and methadone facility and I think they have a wonderful program! I have been to many programs and this is by far the best. In their residential program, you have access you methadone maintainence although it is not required, you receive your psychiatric medications and have an on premises psychiatrist and primary care Dr although you may see your own. I see theirs and they are wonderful. They do not chastise you if your on a controlled psychiatric medications, it is considered and often allowed if you have a diagnosed. They offer both methadone and Suboxone and the clinic in the Richmond Hill facility has their methadone clinic right downstairs so you can dose upon waking up. The staff is caring and professional, and the community is caring as well. Well that's about all I have to say! If you are struggling with substance abuse and looking to change your life, look no further! This place is 5* and fully covered by almost all insurance as far as I know! I have Medicaid and they cover my services here God bless you all!
