I joined the 30 day residential program at Resada and I am speechless of words to say as this facility was the best treatment center I could have attended, the staff is amazing, Veronica, Karma, Niko and Isaac did the above and beyond methods to make me as comfortable as possible and the most amazing role in my treatment to recovery, and everyone else follows along it is by far the #1 and I will recommend anyone and everyone I can that is seeking helping addiction. God puts us in places and in the paths of others for so many reasons and I can say I don't regret my addiction because he put me in Resada to meet so many others in the same situation and I wouldn't change it if I could. I give Resada 10 ⭐. Thank You Resada for helping me to my new life and journey of Recovery. Oh and the food is amazing Ms. Bonnie and her staff are the best.

I came across some of the most recent reviews today as I was looking up the website for contact information.
I wanted to post a review that is five stars because that is exactly what Fort Lyon deserves, not because it has five star amenities or because it is perfect, but because without this place I would probably be dead. I was a resident for nine months in 2023. I was in a hopeless state of mind, body, and spirit. After losing my professional career and everything else, I found myself moving here. Fort Lyon is a place where you can live safely, and focus on true recovery and healing. If that is what you want. To be completely transparent, most negative comments are from people who are not ready for what it takes to turn your life around. It is not fun and you don't normally get your way, but I learned that is LIFE. I gained back ALL I had lost and so much more. Thanks to God ultimately, but also to this place and a program I work everyday. I am now over three years sober from all substances, and if you knew my entire story you would agree it is a miracle. Fort Lyon does not hand you recovery, but it provides all the tools you need to get it for yourself. Much thanks to all the staff, especially Sabrina, Tosha, Laura, Randy, and Lisa T.

I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition.
I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again.
I have a solid recovery plan, relapse prevention plan and relapse plan. Everyone that works here is so encouraging and supportive. I have had so many laughs and good times here. I feel ready to go out in the world. I believe that I will never get stuck in active addiction again. I will just get back on the horse if a relapse does happen. I'm ready. Thank you innerbalance! I am very satisfied! 😀🙃

Sandstone Care Denver is an outpatient rehab facility in Denver, Colorado, that offers support to teens, young adults and their families in order to help them get over drug and alcohol addiction. An intensive outpatient program (IOP) and a partial hospitalization program (PHP) are two of their addiction treatment options. These programs offer evide | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I loved this place so much to say the least. Sometimes it can be frustrating and anxiety inducing trying to find a good place to get treatment, especially when dealing with insurance companies. When I first reached out, I made the call in the early afternoon and they had me in the very next morning to do the intake!! I participated in the Adult PHP program and enjoyed every second of it, made many new friends and found every reason to stay sober. Shout-out to Sam and Wyndi, they are the best there is!! ❤️

Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery.
Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care.
Clients have shared positive feedback about feeling respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending CMAR to anyone seeking meaningful, professional substance use treatment in an outpatient setting.

I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe this center. I LOVED every single employee there. Every single one treated me with genuine kindness and compassion. I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Aspen Ridge Recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported. What stood out the most was the integrity and authenticity of the team—every therapist, counselor, and staff member truly cares about the people they’re serving.
This isn’t just a place that goes through the motions. The staff takes time to get to know you as a person, not just a diagnosis or a case file. They’re consistent, honest, and deeply committed to helping you heal. Read through some of the lower rated reviews and the reasons and am thinking how ridiculous people are. One review is for one star because the rehab wouldn’t write a letter testifying to someone’s behavior before or after the patient was in treatment? Why would a rehab write a letter discussing a patients behavior when they weren’t even in their care? Another one star is because the counselors smoke cigarettes. Okay what if the counselor didn’t smoke and drank coffee? Would you complain that they’re addicted to caffeine which undermines the program as well? It’s nicotine. This place is to get you off alcohol fentanyl cocaine Xanax etc, if you want to get off nicotine or have such an issue with it get a nicotine patch. Stayed here in 2020 and the facility and therapists were incredible.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. Colorado is ranked 11th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,413.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Colorado vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Colorado. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Colorado that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options.
