Our 17 year old daughter just came home from spending 4 months at Southern Peaks in Canon City for repeated suicidal ideation/attempts. I was really nervous about sending her there after reading Google reviews, but it’s the only place in the state that Medicaid covers, so we didn’t have a choice. We were really happy with the facility and staff. They’ve been going through a lot of good changes in 2025, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about the kids. Her time there gave our family the break we desperately needed from the stress of trying to keep her safe all the time, and she did learn and grow and stabilize (hopefully). They have a detailed pillar system and therapy curriculum the kids work through as they progress, and they get weekly individual therapy and weekly family therapy via zoom. The bad part is that they spend 24/7 surrounded by the most mentally ill kids in the state, and the kids definitely have a very negative effect on one another. There’s no getting around that. But overall I still think it was the right call for our family.

I was a former client from 2016-2018, admitted 3x & honestly as an adult now I can admit I kept coming back partially because I liked yall and because I just blatantly wasn't ready to change. Some staff definitely filled a family like void that I craved for a long time. Idk how things are NOW but when I was there, Y'all tried your best & I could tell. I appreciate every last one of you for molding me into the Mom & Adult I am now! I wasn't the easiest to deal with, actually I was a shithead lol & unfortunately one of the worst kids y'all have dealt with but y'alls patience & care for me never withered. I was here from the old handbook to the new & although some things could have been dealt with better, you guys are dealing with unwell and troubled kids from all backgrounds (Behavioral, Se*ual, Abuse in all ways) and some of you have gone above and beyond for us.

Amazing staff, incredibly compassionate! Recovery Campus is a huge help when you're just taking off in your recovery and have basically nothing left to start with. Everyone there treats you with respect and dignity instead of seeing you as a junkie or an alcoholic. They have counselors trained in this cool thing called EMDR that is wonderful if you have trauma in your past that you still find hard to cope with. Trinda, Sandy and Heidi were fantastic supports for me but there are others that are just as skilled and experienced that can help you too if out patient treatment is what you're looking for. I have learned so much about myself and have gained the skills I need to be successful in my recovery. Thanks to RMBH!

When I first came to Peaks, I was broken, depressed, hopeless, and completely lost. I truly didn’t believe things could get better. But my experience at Peaks changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined.
From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a community of supportive, caring people who genuinely wanted to see me grow. I built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime, with people who stood by me through every high and low of my recovery journey.
The groups and therapists were absolutely incredible, I learned more here than I ever have in any other program. The structure at Peaks helped me build consistency, confidence, and real progress. The staff went above and beyond every single day, they truly cared about us as people, not just clients.
Even the food was amazing (shoutout to the chefs, you made every meal feel special!). The activities were another huge part of my healing, basketball, pickleball, volleyball courts right on property, yoga, art supplies, gym equipment, hikes twice a week, church, Recovery Dharma, and so much more. There was always something positive and grounding to be a part of.
I am endlessly grateful for my time at Peaks Recovery. This program gave me my life back and gave me the tools, support, and hope I needed to keep moving forward. Thank you to everyone who made my experience so meaningful and life-changing. ❤️

I found Sandstone to be a small, personalized and compassionate detox and recovery facility. The staff there treated me with knowledge, respect and kindness. I was struggling with a decade of dependence on Rx meds, including Xanax, accompanied with severe alcohol abuse. My detox was brutal and only possible due to the compassionate care of Savannah and the rest of the medical staff. Following detox, the group therapy and counselling were essential to my recovery (thanks Caleb, Jill, Mariah, Alexia , along with the other residents who shared their lives). And there's a gentle soul named Tyler who embodies all that's good in this crazy world.

First time at a VA clinic since I separated in September. It is a nice facility that is clean and well taken care of. All of the staff that I encountered from the pharmacy, lab and front desk were all really nice and informative considering I just separated. I will say, I was confused by the kiosk next to the pharmacy. I grabbed a ticket and waited then realized that it was for registration and not the pharmacy. Just kind of misleading being right next to check in. That and wasn’t aware they only dispense a few weeks of meds then mail your full requested prescription. Definitely a different process than MTF’s. Overall, good experience though.

I attended their inpatient addiction treatment program, Crestone Residential Treatment Services (CRTS) in 2019-2020. This was the best experience I've had at a treatment center. Their entire staff was nothing but supportive and helpful time and time again (Carol was my fave 😁), and their way of showing each of their patients that they were genuinely invested in each of us and our success seemed effortless, second nature. I stayed for 60 days and didn't have a single negative experience that entire time (except for when Shah's Kababs came around again on the meal schedule and the staff decided to order from a different place knowing I was counting down the days before I could order another Falafel Sandwich.... But I guess we can leave it in the past)
I'm only leaving a comment now because I've been recommending CRTS Everytime I discuss treatment with a friend ever since and when i needed inpatient again last year I tried to reach out but never got a response and one friend was told they had closed. . So if this is correct can you guys please remove it from your list of provided services or add a note about how CRTS is no longer offered, or any type of clear confirmation? I've searched the internet for hours on at least 3 different occasions looking for something. I never get called back when leaving messages.

This place has honestly changed my life for the better from the one on one's to the many various groups it helps to talk to others who share a similar experience with you, this place of therapy feels safe ! Unlike other places I have been to in the past , the staff is friendly and always welcoming and they help with numerous things other than therapy, if your in a predicament with your housing situation or any type of real life situation they are more than willing to help, I highly recommend seeing Brandi Hendrix and any group that has Marlo Baca. ❤️

Started attending meetings here in Oct. '19. Great place that made me feel welcomed, made sobriety easier to understand and a better way of life. Then March and April of '20 came and i relapsed. Stopped attending a few months and when i returned was alot of new faces which is great! Unfortunately some of the new members, even those chairing, did not like newcomers admittingly, Made me feel uncomfortable. Currently seeking and attending other meetings. Awesome place when i started in '19. Not so much now.

I recommended this place to people in the past, but no more. The only thing I can give stars for is my ability to get a prescription. The last two psychologists I’ve seen have been unkind to me- this has diminished my previous faith in mental health a great deal. When you’re already not sure you want to live anymore and the people that are supposed to help you hurt, you how are you supposed to recover? I don’t even think the psychiatrist really wants to help me. Is this because of COVID? Are people burnt out? I don’t know. I just know that I’m not sure I have anywhere to turn.

Got set up for therapy. Saw my therapist one time and then she quit or got fired or something. And I tried calling to get set up with someone new and never heard back. This is awful as I was experiencing a crisis and had left inpatient in Hope's to recover. Choosing a different place for therapy. We dont need this.

I have been a resident of Rocky Mountain Sober Living for almost 6 months, upon my transition to getting my own place. Rocky Mountain gave me the tools and options to explore a routine schedule, goals and activities I never knew were possible, whilst giving me a safe place to stay each and every night. The community may be random at best, but Mike does a great job of vetting and taking care of each and every concern of every resident. 2 rules, stay sober and stay on top of the opportunities and rules to better your life and those around you. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and the bonds I’ve made since joining Mikes program and I have/would suggest it to anyone as long as your goal is to stay sober and start living the life you want.

I have been with motivation one going on 4 1/2 months. They have been very supportive for my sobriety, my mental health and my physical health at some point when I needed it Brandon has a peer coach has spent valuable time with me.
