Our 17 year old daughter just came home from spending 4 months at Southern Peaks in Canon City for repeated suicidal ideation/attempts. I was really nervous about sending her there after reading Google reviews, but it’s the only place in the state that Medicaid covers, so we didn’t have a choice. We were really happy with the facility and staff. They’ve been going through a lot of good changes in 2025, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about the kids. Her time there gave our family the break we desperately needed from the stress of trying to keep her safe all the time, and she did learn and grow and stabilize (hopefully). They have a detailed pillar system and therapy curriculum the kids work through as they progress, and they get weekly individual therapy and weekly family therapy via zoom. The bad part is that they spend 24/7 surrounded by the most mentally ill kids in the state, and the kids definitely have a very negative effect on one another. There’s no getting around that. But overall I still think it was the right call for our family.

Hi Y'all! I was a former client from 2016-2018, admitted 3x & honestly as an adult now I can admit I kept coming back partially because I liked yall and because I just blatantly wasn't ready to change. Some staff definitely filled a family like void that I craved for a long time. Idk how things are NOW but when I was there, Y'all tried your best & I could tell. I appreciate every last one of you for molding me into the Mom & Adult I am now! I wasn't the easiest to deal with, actually I was a shithead lol & unfortunately one of the worst kids y'all have dealt with but y'alls patience & care for me never withered. I was here from the old handbook to the new & although some things could have been dealt with better, you guys are dealing with unwell and troubled kids from all backgrounds (Behavioral, Se*ual, Abuse in all ways) and some of you have gone above and beyond for us. I hope y'all can help other kids as you did me!

I absolutely love Southern Peaks, I have been in and out of the system as a juvenile and have never seen anyone try and help youth the way Southern Peaks does.

Amazing staff, incredibly compassionate! Recovery Campus is a huge help when you're just taking off in your recovery and have basically nothing left to start with. Everyone there treats you with respect and dignity instead of seeing you as a junkie or an alcoholic. They have counselors trained in this cool thing called EMDR that is wonderful if you have trauma in your past that you still find hard to cope with. Trinda, Sandy and Heidi were fantastic supports for me but there are others that are just as skilled and experienced that can help you too if out patient treatment is what you're looking for. I have learned so much about myself and have gained the skills I need to be successful in my recovery. Thanks to RMBH!

The staff was great, friendly, and professional.

I attended their inpatient addiction treatment program, Crestone Residential Treatment Services (CRTS) in 2019-2020. This was the best experience I've had at a treatment center. Their entire staff was nothing but supportive and helpful time and time again (Carol was my fave 😁), and their way of showing each of their patients that they were genuinely invested in each of us and our success seemed effortless, second nature. I stayed for 60 days and didn't have a single negative experience that entire time (except for when Shah's Kababs came around again on the meal schedule and the staff decided to order from a different place knowing I was counting down the days before I could order another Falafel Sandwich.... But I guess we can leave it in the past) I'm only leaving a comment now because I've been recommending CRTS Everytime I discuss treatment with a friend ever since and when i needed inpatient again last year I tried to reach out but never got a response and one friend was told they had closed. . So if this is correct can you guys please remove it from your list of provided services or add a note about how CRTS is no longer offered, or any type of clear confirmation? I've searched the internet for hours on at least 3 different occasions looking for something. I never get called back when leaving messages.

This place has honestly changed my life for the better from the one on one's to the many various groups it helps to talk to others who share a similar experience with you, this place of therapy feels safe ! Unlike other places I have been to in the past , the staff is friendly and always welcoming and they help with numerous things other than therapy, if your in a predicament with your housing situation or any type of real life situation they are more than willing to help, I highly recommend seeing Brandi Hendrix and any group that has Marlo Baca. ❤️

Great transition place. 5 star chef for breakfast and lunch during the day and an overall positive atmosphere. The teachers are awesome. Best teacher by far is Mori, but DB is cool too.

The Griffith Center has been amazing in our journey. Wonderful, helpful staff and such a welcoming atmosphere. We are blessed to have found this organization.

Very personalized attention. Didn’t feel pressured to work with them but chose to because they truly care about what they are doing and it shows .

The staff is friendly and professional. My daughter has a good relationship with her therapist, Pia, and I’m happy with the progress we’ve made! If you or your child don’t connect with one therapist, they will let you try another one.

I have been a resident of Rocky Mountain Sober Living for almost 6 months, upon my transition to getting my own place. Rocky Mountain gave me the tools and options to explore a routine schedule, goals and activities I never knew were possible, whilst giving me a safe place to stay each and every night. The community may be random at best, but Mike does a great job of vetting and taking care of each and every concern of every resident. 2 rules, stay sober and stay on top of the opportunities and rules to better your life and those around you. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and the bonds I’ve made since joining Mikes program and I have/would suggest it to anyone as long as your goal is to stay sober and start living the life you want. These individuals have opened up new opportunities and have given me the care and guidance I needed and continue to live by their word. I would not be where I am today without them. PSA: I’ve lived with Felix. If you begin to prioritize your DOC and don’t seek help in the individuals mentioned or your home group, which I’ve found through Rocky Mountain/Purple Mountain. So I came from landmark recovery in Aurora to Rocky mountains over living the Westwood House where I've had nothing but the best experience in sober living a place where brotherhood really mean something and please for guys stick together and stand together and sobriety this is the house that would completely recommend to anyone who's in it for the right reasons I want to thank Mike mattis the owner forgiving me an opportunity of a lifetime. I scheduled a visit to see my son and when I arrived there they told me that my visit was not scheduled, they made me lose time.

Emily is an actual angel ❣️ The women who run the Jacob Center are all phenomenal, there are so many great couches who enrich the lives of the youth that work with. The Jacob center is an absolute gem to this community and helped me GREATLY back in my teens. I have never known more caring, knowledgable and kind mental health professionals.

I had a lot of problems and always blaming others.Anne helped me through a lot of emotional things, saved my marriage oh, and helped me become a better person. But she could only do this if I put the work into it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people here. You all believed in me did not judge me and help me change to be a better person gave me all the tools I needed now I just need to use them thank you all. Great place I recommend it wholeheartedly.

This lady who does these classes is nothing but a liar she runs the classes wrong with bad advice they only want your money. My fiance was supposed be done with his classes in July she is still trying to run us up in getting money and making him do classes and saying he has got UAs which have been proven to actually not be hot UAs. We have filed complaints with DORA and the BBB.

I have been with motivation one going on 4 1/2 months. They have been very supportive for my sobriety, my mental health and my physical health at some point when I needed it Brandon has a peer coach has spent valuable time with me. Brandon has also guided me to continue on being the father that I am to my children is also reconnecting me with my faith. There has been a couple of times where I felt like giving up. There was a gentleman named Ethan that had stepped up to make sure that the decision I made with motivation one Or any other program was in their best interest as well as mine I recommend motivation one to any and everybody that wants to get on a straight and narrow path to success !!!

Gotta give a shot out to Anthony, he's always supportive and their when needed. He's a true asset to your company and a positive person.
