I am writing this review about the RAC. I wish they had their own Google Site so it was easier to find them. I had been to the RAC in the past for mental health and had not fully gotten what I needed, but they have made large improvements in their patient care. The people I would like to acknowledge is Hamza, Rebecca, Ryan, Beck, Dustin, Glenda, Michele, Tiffany, and most important of all Lynn the therapy provider here. Lynn went out of her way to advocate for me. They offered me EMDR after years of me fighting to get myself EMDR. The therapy and care coordination gave me a new outlook on life and made me feel like a new person. I finally have hope for the future and am able to start on my journey to becoming happy again. I would recommend the RAC to anyone who is struggling or has a family member struggling. They are a safe environment that offer personalized services.

Sandstone Care Denver is an outpatient rehab facility in Denver, Colorado, that offers support to teens, young adults and their families in order to help them get over drug and alcohol addiction. I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I honestly don't understand the purpose of this place. They consistently give out false information to prospective clients. They do not follow up as promised. They treat people like they are low life bottom feeders. They pretend to give you respect only to turn around and slap you in the face. I have never received any sort of help from these people. Every attempt at receiving assistance (and there were several) was a complete waste of time as I was denied without any real explanation. Don't waste your time too. I wish I could leave zero stars... 😞

This place helped me save my own life. The therapists were all very helpful and they believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. And they truly care about you . If your willing they will help you. But keep in mind, places like this aren't miracle workers, they can't snap there fingers and make your life all better. No where can do that for you ,that's all up to YOU. How bad do you want to change ? That's what you need to ask yourself , and then decide if your ready to do whatever it takes . I know in my heart these people will do whatever they can to walk beside you . but this is your journey and you gotta be willing.

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Aspen Ridge Recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported. What stood out the most was the integrity and authenticity of the team—every therapist, counselor, and staff member truly cares about the people they’re serving. This isn’t just a place that goes through the motions. The staff takes time to get to know you as a person, not just a diagnosis or a case file. They’re consistent, honest, and deeply committed to helping you heal. Even when things got tough, they showed up with compassion and accountability, which helped me trust the process and stick with it. If you’re looking for a place where people actually care, and where your recovery is taken seriously in a safe and respectful environment, Aspen Ridge is that place. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and the people who helped me through it.

Absolutely blown away by this facility. Detoxing IS intimidating! I was not ready for what I was walking into, in a good way! The staff is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I felt welcomed, never judged, cared for and about! The staff was AMAZING... (in the order of appearance because I loved them all so much!) Wanda, Darian, Tess, Sadie, Paige, Shante, Frances & Kiki!! LOVE THEM! They made sure I had everything I needed to come down comfortably! The pictures of the rooms, that's what you get! A queen sized bed with a TV in your private room. Beds are comfy and the great lighting for whatever mood you're in! The entire facility is clean, really clean! The staff here really takes pride in what they do! The food, was amazing! They order in Door Dash for lunch and dinner from good places! Plus, they have things to eat in the kitchen as well as coffee, hot tea, Gold Peak teas, Gatorade, and way more! Fruits, toast, bagels! I could go on! I appreciated that they kept everything stocked. While there, they also helped me to line up what my next steps were, provided me resources on places/providers/therapists that were in network for me. I didn't expect that, but really appreciate not having to leave without a plan! Thank you lovely therapist Ali for all your hard work on that! I can't forget Dr. Welcher, she clearly knows what she's doing and how to handle this process! To barely feel any symptoms is unheard of! This is the way to go! No reason to be scared anymore! One more shout out to the staff! I wouldn't be where I am today without all of them! I've been going through it pretty bad (like most people), but they were so kind, compassionate, attentive and truly have the biggest hearts! They also were fun to be around which made the time there so much easier! Thank you so much!!! I'm gonna send a card when I'm a year clean and enjoying life! Not sure I need to say this, but I 10/10 recommend this place!

I have told these people not to call me. Before 9 o'clock in the morning. I was called on my day off at 7:45 in the morning. As I'm righting this review. It doesn't even say the business is open yet. I told them you just woke me up. This is the second time you've done this. Why are you calling me at 7:45 in the morning on my day off? The 45 minute medical phone call. I had this person, Alicia completely failed me. She prescribed me some drug for my mental health. That would have costed $700 per prescription withinsurance and $1800 purprescription without. Because of her, I am even more depressed. I can't get meds now until I can recall her and after reschedule with her. Why wouldnt she just give me a more commonly easy access medication? They know. I don't have medical insurance or medicaid. The first counselor I had what? Just generically tell me advice that a friend could give me. I have major anxiety disorder, major depression. And they don't care, they just wanna pigeon hole you into a paycheck collecting program. And say you're gonna be better in 3 months if you do this in this. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for all of my experiences with this place. Have been frustrating and after I change. My counselor who I only met twice over zoom. Because I knew he was just collecting a paycheck. I could tell that there was no real connection. The second one they assigned me with. I gotta wait another week and she ends up calling in sick to work.

I like to leave high star reviews just in hopes maybe someone will actually realize it’s about wanting change and not ruining a business chance at it by affecting their overall ratings. I agree with the comment; “The clinicians are either great or terrible…” ABSOLUTELY. The front desk is cold 98% of the time, has a way of making you feel like an absolute waste of space, time, and effort……Now if this was an Arby’s, or maybe even an eye dr, honestly I’d probably move about my day. But this is MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. The thought of having people with god awful bedside manner when you’re in such a time of need & vulnerability is absolutely infuriating. Some of us are crippled by social interaction, especially phone calls/confrontation, the least you could expect is someone with more than a monotone voice and dead look in their eyes. Maybe it’s because the fronts & and clinicians are properly medicated/regulated so they come across with no form of emotion….Lapsing on meds, no call backs for days/weeks. I won’t list my dr quite yet in hopes there is progress made. These are quite literally peoples lives you are playing with, if you only have a textbook perception of these disorders, maybe it’s time to look at a different industry.

I was a program member at Peer I during Paul Thompson's and Ken Gaipa's tenure with the program. Back then, the program was very demanding. As I progressed through the program over the course of 17 months, I achieved multiple milestones. By the time I left the program, I was a CIT (Counselor in Training). This position was responsible for managing the entire peer government, called the "Senate" back then. The training program paid a stipend of $800 per month via UC Denver's ARTS and allowed me an opportunity to start a career in recovery services; if I wanted to, I could have become a staff member at Peer I, which was so incredible to me and so inspiring! To be seen as a human again, a human who was obviously worthy enough to work for such a prestigious treatment program, totally changed my life for the better. Paul and Ken always instilled in us that we had to give back what we learned in our recovery if we wanted to keep it. And that's what Peer I is all about. We guided each other in the arduous journey of recovery. Our peers taught us things about ourselves that we didn't even know. I don't think about manipulation! Manipulation would be quickly noticed by our peers, and we'd be held accountable. Peer I talked about planting seeds and I didn't fully understand the concept back then, but I do now. I am sober today because of Peer I. The concepts taught while I was there resonate with you for the rest of your life. It wasn't only about abstinence from drugs. Peer I's teachings apply to all aspects of life. I will always remember a comment my therapist, Trudy, made to me early in my recovery. She said, "Sobriety is boring. Are you ready for that?" It made me really think about being sober on a deeper level. Looking back on my therapist's advice, I can understand what she meant, but in reality, my life of sobriety today is far from boring. Perhaps it was because Peer I made recovery fun that I now disagree with that comment.

Staff is blunt but not rude neither , is Dr.Warren. A++. All of them are on the ball, just be real with them and they will be real with you. I am not a employee, just telling people give them a chance and understand how to navigate the telehealth and video visits. Don't miss appointments, they extremely mindful and they always aware of who with Healow compass portal and it directs you call in to higher up or people that your number is flagged based on the priority status and urgency. I am the owner and take comments regarding my agency very seriously. I am sad that an individual was upset regarding her experience. As a small agency I am unable to always have an open door policy and availability throughout my business hours. At times I am facilitating groups and sessions and I am unavailable.

The Glenwood staff and my doctor were awesome!!!! I have seen so many nasty reviews but my 15 visits in the last 6 months, I have seen only people that are polite, professional and on top of their game. From the front desk to my intake coordinator, I was impressed. Then assigned Dr. Katie Hundertmark couldn't have been more helpful. Felt very lucky! MJ Horn was also great and very knowledgeable. She got some tricky things done for me. Bad news and negative reviews always travels 10 times faster and farther. This is coming from someone that was in medical field for 14 years. Thank you Mind Springs!!!!!! :)
