Like I've never been treated so nice and respected in a detox facility before. Really caring people with kind hearts. I cannot thank you enough for the way you all took care of me and with such respect and honor when I was at my worst. I had been on probation since I was 11, in and out of juvenile detention, cutting off ankle monitors, trafficking narcotics — pretty much everything you could think of. At 15, I got in serious trouble and was sent out of state to Southern Peaks. I can’t speak on how Southern Peaks runs today, and I’m not giving five stars because of the treatment plans or the structure of the program. I’m giving five stars because of the floor staff. I don’t know who is still there now, but the staff I had completely changed my life — Rob, AJ, Trina, Brandon, Adelma, Jeremy and a few others I can’t name off the top of my head. And of course, the youth on my unit (who I won’t name for privacy). Was the program hard? Absolutely. Did I struggle some days? Yes. Did I AWOL? Yes. Did I see some crazy youth? Yes. IDK if i’m just thick skinned but a lot of it motivated me to turn my life around, motivated me by showing me the path i was headed and giving me the shove elsewhere. But because of my floor staff, who sat and went through it with me, I healed in ways I never thought were possible. They supported me, built real connections with me, and many of them shared pieces of their own stories to help me work through mine. Everyone will have their own experiences, and I can’t vouch for the current staff. But because of the SPRTC floor staff I had, I now have a life worth living — a career, a car, my own apartment, and I’m continuing my college education. Take what you want from this Kiomara Lopez 7 months ago Our 17 year old daughter just came home from spending 4 months at Southern Peaks in Canon City for repeated suicidal ideation/attempts. I was really nervous about sending her there after reading Google reviews, but it’s the only place in the state that Medicaid covers, so we didn’t have a choice. We were really happy with the facility and staff. They’ve been going through a lot of good changes in 2025, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about the kids. Her time there gave our family the break we desperately needed from the stress of trying to keep her safe all the time, and she did learn and grow and stabilize (hopefully). They have a detailed pillar system and therapy curriculum the kids work through as they progress, and they get weekly individual therapy and weekly family therapy via zoom. The bad part is that they spend 24/7 surrounded by the most mentally ill kids in the state, and the kids definitely have a very negative effect on one another. There’s no getting around that. Recovery Campus is a huge help when you're just taking off in your recovery and have basically nothing left to start with. Everyone there treats you with respect and dignity instead of seeing you as a junkie or an alcoholic. They have counselors trained in this cool thing called EMDR that is wonderful if you have trauma in your past that you still find hard to cope with. Trinda, Sandy and Heidi were fantastic supports for me but there are others that are just as skilled and experienced that can help you too if out patient treatment is what you're looking for. Collin Cook 6 months ago Footprints was an absolutely stellar facility to go to after completing inpatient addiction treatment. The staff were all very patient and understanding during my biggest ups and downs during treatment, and I never felt any judgement even at my lowest points. Recovery is such a serious rock to carry but the groups and providers helped me collect the tools necessary to be able to tackle this journey on my own. The nursing team was incredibly helpful in finding me medications that are actually helping my mental health and addiction cravings. I've had more success in the three months I got to share with Footprints than the years I've worked with my primary care and therapist. Andrew with case management is hilarious and hugely helpful with resources and managing work and life alongside treatment. Anika is an incredible therapist and I am sad to leave her care, but know she will continue to do amazing things for other clients. If you are struggling with any substance abuse, I highly recommend seeking help with Footprints. They will absolutely get you back on your feet. Richard Iannazzo 2 months ago I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated in this case 'cause RRC saved my life. I've, unfortunately, been to a number of inpatient rehabs. Of all the places I've been my experience at RRRC was the best. Red Rock's care is superior for a number of reasons. I'm writing this six months after leaving (still sober) so i'll try to mention as many as I can remember. 1) The nursing staff was amazing. So caring. They bend over backwards to get you as comfortable as you can be while still leading you through a successful detox. Extremely patient. Never felt like a number. They looked me in the eye, listened and helped me. 2) The food. Before arriving my diet wasn't great. The chef prepares home cooked meals. It's not cafeteria food. You can tell the chef really cares and takes pride in what they're serving you. Nutrition is extremely important, so to kickstart your reintegration into eating right is huge when first getting sober. This was a godsend. I was grateful for each and every meal. And not only that...the community kitchen is open all day, so you can grab snacks, drinks, make protien shakes etc. 3) The curriculum/therapy. RRRC meets you where you're at. While they certainly promote 12 step programs...they DO NOT proselytize nor present them as the ONLY way by any means. Which is huge. There are a million ways to get and stay sober. RRRC recognizes this and teaches you the things you need to know to help you get and stay that way without falsely preaching that there's only one way to do it. 4) They listen to everyone, but don't put up with silliness. There are a lot of personalities that walk into rehab. Often colorful, always interesting. People conflict in regular everyday life. Rehab...can be a powder keg. The way RRRC dealt with problems, I felt like everyone was listened to and that they always did what was best for the community as a whole. 5) The surroundings. You're in the mountains. Awesome. 6) Facilities. Great gym. Was always comfortable in my room etc. 7) JUST ENOUGH PHONE TIME. Trust me. Not having your phone for certain parts of the day is AMAZING. You start to kinda dread the times you get to have your phone. Sort of. I could go on and on. But i was just impressed by this place. I still talk to 5 people from the crew that was present when i was there and we're all still sober. That's unheard of. But, remember, it's up to you. The only piece of advice I'd give to anyone is to be mindful of the culture you and other patients are cultivating. In close quarter, small group scenarios like rehab ONE person's vibe can change everything. So be the positive tuning fork and you'll be surprised at how good the experience can and will be. Good luck. Getting sober is rough. Until it doesn't. So hang in there (and remember to lean on and trust the nursing staff. Oh...and as nice as the nurses are, if you're a jerk...they're a force to be reckoned with. I saw a couple of dudes pop off for no good reason and it didn't end well. I can't say one thing bad about this place There staff members are all so caring and kind. Like I've never been treated so nice and respected in a detox facility before. Really caring people with kind hearts. I cannot thank you enough for the way you all took care of me and with such respect and honor when I was at my worst. I would definitely go here if you are looking to get clean off opiates in 3 to five days. It has been a life changer for me and im just so thankful to be where I'm at today and it all started with my decision to go to Salida and give it a try. I wasn’t an easy kid. I was angry, depressed, and carrying years of trauma and abuse. I had been on probation since I was 11, in and out of juvenile detention, cutting off ankle monitors, trafficking narcotics — pretty much everything you could think of. At 15, I got in serious trouble and was sent out of state to Southern Peaks. I can’t speak on how Southern Peaks runs today, and I’m not giving five stars because of the treatment plans or the structure of the program. I’m giving five stars because of the floor staff. I don’t know who is still there now, but the staff I had completely changed my life — Rob, AJ, Trina, Brandon, Adelma, Jeremy and a few others I can’t name off the top of my head. And of course, the youth on my unit (who I won’t name for privacy). Was the program hard? Absolutely. Did I struggle some days? Yes. Did I AWOL? Yes. Did I see some crazy youth? Yes. IDK if i’m just thick skinned but a lot of it motivated me to turn my life around, motivated me by showing me the path i was headed and giving me the shove elsewhere. But because of my floor staff, who sat and went through it with me, I healed in ways I never thought were possible. They supported me, built real connections with me, and many of them shared pieces of their own stories to help me work through mine. Everyone will have their own experiences, and I can’t vouch for the current staff. But because of the SPRTC floor staff I had, I now have a life worth living — a career, a car, my own apartment, and I’m continuing my college education. Take what you want from this

Our 17 year old daughter just came home from spending 4 months at Southern Peaks in Canon City for repeated suicidal ideation/attempts. I was really nervous about sending her there after reading Google reviews, but it’s the only place in the state that Medicaid covers, so we didn’t have a choice. We were really happy with the facility and staff. They’ve been going through a lot of good changes in 2025, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about the kids. Her time there gave our family the break we desperately needed from the stress of trying to keep her safe all the time, and she did learn and grow and stabilize (hopefully). They have a detailed pillar system and therapy curriculum the kids work through as they progress, and they get weekly individual therapy and weekly family therapy via zoom. The bad part is that they spend 24/7 surrounded by the most mentally ill kids in the state, and the kids definitely have a very negative effect on one another. There’s no getting around that. But overall I still think it was the right call for our family.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Staff (With One Exception) I cannot say enough good things about the front reception area at Gateway to Success, Cindy and the whole crew up front are absolutely awesome! They are welcoming, helpful, and always make you feel supported the second you walk through the door. Huge shout-out to the UA staff as well, they do a fantastic job and handle everything professionally. The only downside to my experience here is the instructor for the Tuesday morning class at 8:00a. To put it bluntly, he is completely in the wrong line of work. That being said, the administrative and support staff are so incredibly great at what they do that they still earn every bit of a 5-star review from me. Thank you, Cindy and team!

Amazing staff, incredibly compassionate! Recovery Campus is a huge help when you're just taking off in your recovery and have basically nothing left to start with. Everyone there treats you with respect and dignity instead of seeing you as a junkie or an alcoholic. They have counselors trained in this cool thing called EMDR that is wonderful if you have trauma in your past that you still find hard to cope with. Trinda, Sandy and Heidi were fantastic supports for me but there are others that are just as skilled and experienced that can help you too if out patient treatment is what you're looking for. The staff truly cares about their patients and provided care that met my needs. The whole program exceeded my expectations and I can't thank everyone enough for the impact they made on my life and mental health. Deciding to seek treatment was not an easy thing for me but I am so glad I chose Footprints to Recovery. It wasn't all just sitting around doing therapy all day and we got the chance to do yoga, art and music therapy, and also go outdoors with Adventure Recovery. Footprints was an absolutely stellar facility to go to after completing inpatient addiction treatment. The staff were all very patient and understanding during my biggest ups and downs during treatment, and I never felt any judgement even at my lowest points. Recovery is such a serious rock to carry but the groups and providers helped me collect the tools necessary to be able to tackle this journey on my own. The nursing team was incredibly helpful in finding me medications that are actually helping my mental health and addiction cravings. I've had more success in the three months I got to share with Footprints than the years I've worked with my primary care and therapist. Andrew with case management is hilarious and hugely helpful with resources and managing work and life alongside treatment. Anika is an incredible therapist and I am sad to leave her care, but know she will continue to do amazing things for other clients. If you are struggling with any substance abuse, I highly recommend seeking help with Footprints. They will absolutely get you back on your feet.

I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. Their communication is exceptional, their collaboration with families is thoughtful, and the sustained recoveries I've seen in referred clients speak for themselves. This is a team that isn't content with where they are, they're always evolving, always raising the bar, and they hold themselves to a standard the rest of the industry should be studying. The leadership operates with genuine integrity. That's not something you can fake long-term, and it's certainly not something you can fake in person. Jaywalker has been proving it for years. I tell people this often and I mean it sincerely: if I ever needed treatment myself, Jaywalker Lodge would be my first call.

The staff at AspenRidge put a lot of effort into their groups and really try to teach a variety of topics that are relevant to a diverse population. You can tell that they really care about people. AspenRidge does some fun climbing groups and hikes. There is also case management that will help you with a lot of resources and just take you our for coffee or something to talk and get to know you. You can't make everyone happy. I would encourage people to pay attention to all of the good reviews about this place.

My expieriance here at this facility has been absolutely amazing. I have learned way more than expected and have changed my perspective on life itself. Bre and Megan as my case managers have been and absolute delight and have set me up for success. My therapist Madison has also been wonderful and taught me how to manage my emotions and anger. I would recommend this facility to most everyone. It isn't for everyone. Therapy isn't for people who want it, It's not for people who need it, It's for people who DO it.

My first time at New directions for families Valley hope was a safe secure program that supported me through the rough time of my recovery and allowing me recovery with my son and helped me build myself individually as well as a parent. Peaks Recovery Center has truly been a life-changing experience for me. Coming into Peaks, I knew I needed a change, but I didn’t fully understand how much this place and the people here would impact my life. The staff genuinely care about the people they work with, and they create an environment where you can actually focus on getting better, figuring yourself out, and building a better life. What really stood out to me was the sense of community. You aren't treated like just another person going through a program. You build real connections with the other guys, share experiences, laugh together, struggle together, and encourage each other to keep moving forward. Those relationships became a huge part of my recovery. The staff have been supportive, patient, and willing to meet me where I was at. They helped me look at things differently and gave me tools that I can take with me long after leaving Peaks. I'm leaving with a completely different mindset than I had when I walked through the doors. I know recovery is something I have to continue working on every day, but Peaks gave me a foundation, the tools, and the confidence to keep doing it. I'm extremely grateful for the experience, the staff, and especially the people I met along the way. Peaks will forever hold a place in my heart. If you are looking for help with depression, addiction, alcoholism, trauma, anxiety, body image issues… you name it. This is the place that will not only help you, they will LOVE you through it! From the moment I called, I felt loved and cared for. Angela - You are an Angel! Angela kept in contact with me several times a day until I was on a plane to CO. As soon as I got there, Katie picked me up from the airport, she was a doll! She made me feel so comfortable going in. I met with a few staff members, and stayed in “detox” for 2 days. When I first got to the Women’s house, I met Miss. Pat - She’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever met. I’ll never forget her. EVER. I went in for Trauma and Depression. Within 7-10 days, I could tell my life was changing. I had never felt this good in my life. Chris, Bobbie, and his team hired a staff that is like nothing I would have ever imagined. From the Director (Sara), Doctors, Therapists/Counselors (Kate, Madi, Shayna, Sam), PA’s (Alyson), Gym Instructors (Nicole and Dan), my caseworker, Tyler, the chef, Taylor, and the staff (Miss. Pat, Cassie, Leah, Kayla, Mariano, Julie, and Cheyanne), - They are all AMAZING! Everyone has a heart of gold! Each week in group they discuss a topic. The topics discussed are LIFE CHANGING! There are things in life that you think you know, you don’t. I learned so much in group and I’ll hold onto that info for life. I also met with my Therapist/Counselor Kate, 2-3x a week. Kate is part of the reason I am who I am today. ❤️ I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a place that will truly save your life, Peaks is where you want to go. Red Rock Recovery Center changed my life. I was admitted into their rehab facility in Morrison in May of 2025. The team there guided, supported and encouraged me in every way I could hope for. Through their programs I pursued thereafter in Lakewood, I was able to navigate a path forward into a life of sobriety I never thought was possible. I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated in this case 'cause RRC saved my life. I've, unfortunately, been to a number of inpatient rehabs. Of all the places I've been my experience at RRRC was the best. Red Rock's care is superior for a number of reasons. I'm writing this six months after leaving (still sober) so i'll try to mention as many as I can remember. 1) The nursing staff was amazing. So caring. They bend over backwards to get you as comfortable as you can be while still leading you through a successful detox. Extremely patient. Never felt like a number. They looked me in the eye, listened and helped me. 2) The food. Before arriving my diet wasn't great. The chef prepares home cooked meals. It's not cafeteria food. You can tell the chef really cares and takes pride in what they're serving you. Nutrition is extremely important, so to kickstart your reintegration into eating right is huge when first getting sober. This was a godsend. I was grateful for each and every meal. And not only that...the community kitchen is open all day, so you can grab snacks, drinks, make protien shakes etc. 3) The curriculum/therapy. RRRC meets you where you're at. While they certainly promote 12 step programs...they DO NOT proselytize nor present them as the ONLY way by any means. Which is huge. There are a million ways to get and stay sober. RRRC recognizes this and teaches you the things you need to know to help you get and stay that way without falsely preaching that there's only one way to do it. 4) They listen to everyone, but don't put up with silliness. There are a lot of personalities that walk into rehab. Often colorful, always interesting. People conflict in regular everyday life. Rehab...can be a powder keg. The way RRRC dealt with problems, I felt like everyone was listened to and that they always did what was best for the community as a whole. 5) The surroundings. You're in the mountains. Awesome. 6) Facilities. Great gym. Was always comfortable in my room etc. 7) JUST ENOUGH PHONE TIME. Trust me. Not having your phone for certain parts of the day is AMAZING. You start to kinda dread the times you get to have your phone. Sort of. I could go on and on. But i was just impressed by this place. I still talk to 5 people from the crew that was present when i was there and we're all still sober. That's unheard of. But, remember, it's up to you. The only piece of advice I'd give to anyone is to be mindful of the culture you and other patients are cultivating. In close quarter, small group scenarios like rehab ONE person's vibe can change everything. So be the positive tuning fork and you'll be surprised at how good the experience can and will be. Good luck. Getting sober is rough. Until it doesn't. So hang in there (and remember to *lean on* and trust the nursing staff. Oh...and as nice as the nurses are, if you're a jerk...they're a force to be reckoned with. I saw a couple of dudes pop off for no good reason and it didn't end well. Don't mistake their sweetness for weakness hahaha.)

Admitted into hospital after being in ER - heart issues. In the ER, the nurses, Denise and Wyatt, were exceptional. I also received excellent care from Dr Gunther and Dr Janik. Highly recommend both. In the cardiac wing, Dr Brett, and Dr Maruch, the attending Dr were also exceptional. I felt well cared for and was treated with respect. The cardiologist, Dr Kahlon, was excellent. Also want to give kudos to a medical student, Kimia.

This was my first time trying sobriety and this was the first place I came to!!! The clinicians and the groups are amazing! It's not like any other program. They help you to find yourself. They give you the tools to become someone that you made. They aren't people who tell you what you need to do but people who help you along the way of your own growth! Alex and Allison are amazing! The group interactions are spectacular! Everyone is so engaging and come from all walks of life! The way they tie your addiction into psychological and scientific understanding gives you so much more prospective within yourself. They don't tell you why you did it they help you find your own answers! Their guidance is amazing! This program is one that keeps you interested. Every therapist I worked with was knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely committed to providing personalized, high-quality care. I was initially nervous about participating in group therapy because I had never experienced it before, but it ended up being one of the most beneficial parts of my treatment. Regardless of what level of care you need—whether you attend a few days a week, once a week, every day, or participate in residential treatment—the team at Sandstone Care Denver takes the time to understand each individual and help create a treatment plan that fits their needs. To say that Sandstone Care Denver helped me heal and get to a better place would be an understatement. I am incredibly grateful for this place and for the amazing staff who make it what it is. Through my time there, I gained valuable coping skills, new perspectives, a supportive community through group therapy, and, most importantly, a greater sense of hope for the future—something I was greatly lacking before. I’m probably one of DWR’s biggest fans at this point, and for good reason. From day one, I was met with compassion and a community of women who understood what I was going through. Shout out to the incredible therapists and staff, including Crystal, Amanda, Alex, Katie, Dr. Bader, Skylar, Macie, Lily, and MJ. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me to grow, have a different perspective, and putting up with my sarcasm along the way 😉. The therapists and staff encouraged me to do the hard work of looking beneath the surface. They helped me rebuild my self-worth and reminded me that recovery is more about holistic healing, learning to trust yourself again, finding hope, and building a life worth protecting, and living! Today, I show up in the world differently, because of the staff at DWR that taught me how. I’m far from perfect, but I’m more aware of the patterns that brought me here, more willing to have the hard conversations, a rooted knowledge and sense of who I am, and a whole toolkit I can pick up and practice. I don’t have it all figured out, but I have hope, a support system, and a life that I genuinely enjoy today. The relationships I built there continue to be some of the most meaningful I’ve found. I found genuine friendship, hope, and a support system that has stayed with me long after treatment ended. What has meant the most is knowing that DWR will be there long after you leave. They made it clear they would be there if I needed them, and they’ve continued to live out that promise. Knowing I always have DWR in my corner is something I won’t take for granted. If you’re scared to take the first step, my advice is simple: just jump in. Choosing Denver Women’s Recovery was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m forever grateful for the role they played in helping me reclaim my life- I truly believe they helped save it.

I love that this VA facility has an ER (I believe closes at 3 or 4pm MST) in the same building. Staff were also amzing and very helpful. It has a receptive feeling to it compared to the VA hospital I came from in Texas.
