I can't say one thing bad about this place There staff members are all so caring and kind. Like I've never been treated so nice and respected in a detox facility before. Really caring people with kind hearts. I cannot thank you enough for the way you all took care of me and with such respect and honor when I was at my worst. I would definitely go here if you are looking to get clean off opiates in 3 to five days. It has been a life changer for me and im just so thankful to be where I'm at today and it all started with my decision to go to Salida and give it a try. I can't express enough how amazing this place was. 10 out of 10. Thank you

Solvista has been tremendously helpful after I had experienced a difficult time finding places for trusted counciling, at my previous location. I wasn’t an easy kid. I was angry, depressed, and carrying years of trauma and abuse. I had been on probation since I was 11, in and out of juvenile detention, cutting off ankle monitors, trafficking narcotics — pretty much everything you could think of. At 15, I got in serious trouble and was sent out of state to Southern Peaks. I can’t speak on how Southern Peaks runs today, and I’m not giving five stars because of the treatment plans or the structure of the program. I’m giving five stars because of the floor staff. I don’t know who is still there now, but the staff I had completely changed my life — Rob, AJ, Trina, Brandon, Adelma, Jeremy and a few others I can’t name off the top of my head. And of course, the youth on my unit (who I won’t name for privacy). Was the program hard? Absolutely. Did I struggle some days? Yes. Did I AWOL? Yes. Did I see some crazy youth? Yes. IDK if i’m just thick skinned but a lot of it motivated me to turn my life around, motivated me by showing me the path i was headed and giving me the shove elsewhere. But because of my floor staff, who sat and went through it with me, I healed in ways I never thought were possible. They supported me, built real connections with me, and many of them shared pieces of their own stories to help me work through mine. Everyone will have their own experiences, and I can’t vouch for the current staff. But because of the SPRTC floor staff I had, I now have a life worth living — a career, a car, my own apartment, and I’m continuing my college education. Take what you want from this

Our 17 year old daughter just came home from spending 4 months at Southern Peaks in Canon City for repeated suicidal ideation/attempts. I was really nervous about sending her there after reading Google reviews, but it’s the only place in the state that Medicaid covers, so we didn’t have a choice. We were really happy with the facility and staff. They’ve been going through a lot of good changes in 2025, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about the kids. Her time there gave our family the break we desperately needed from the stress of trying to keep her safe all the time, and she did learn and grow and stabilize (hopefully). They have a detailed pillar system and therapy curriculum the kids work through as they progress, and they get weekly individual therapy and weekly family therapy via zoom. The bad part is that they spend 24/7 surrounded by the most mentally ill kids in the state, and the kids definitely have a very negative effect on one another. There’s no getting around that. But overall I still think it was the right call for our family.

Hi Y'all! I was a former client from 2016-2018, admitted 3x & honestly as an adult now I can admit I kept coming back partially because I liked yall and because I just blatantly wasn't ready to change. Some staff definitely filled a family like void that I craved for a long time. Idk how things are NOW but when I was there, Y'all tried your best & I could tell. I appreciate every last one of you for molding me into the Mom & Adult I am now! I wasn't the easiest to deal with, actually I was a shithead lol & unfortunately one of the worst kids y'all have dealt with but y'alls patience & care for me never withered. I was here from the old handbook to the new & although some things could have been dealt with better, you guys are dealing with unwell and troubled kids from all backgrounds (Behavioral, Se*ual, Abuse in all ways) and some of you have gone above and beyond for us. I hope y'all can help other kids as you did me!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Staff (With One Exception) I cannot say enough good things about the front reception area at Gateway to Success, Cindy and the whole crew up front are absolutely awesome! They are welcoming, helpful, and always make you feel supported the second you walk through the door. Huge shout-out to the UA staff as well, they do a fantastic job and handle everything professionally. The only downside to my experience here is the instructor for the Tuesday morning class at 8:00a. To put it bluntly, he is completely in the wrong line of work. That being said, the administrative and support staff are so incredibly great at what they do that they still earn every bit of a 5-star review from me. Thank you, Cindy and team!

Amazing staff, incredibly compassionate! Recovery Campus is a huge help when you're just taking off in your recovery and have basically nothing left to start with. Everyone there treats you with respect and dignity instead of seeing you as a junkie or an alcoholic. They have counselors trained in this cool thing called EMDR that is wonderful if you have trauma in your past that you still find hard to cope with. Trinda, Sandy and Heidi were fantastic supports for me but there are others that are just as skilled and experienced that can help you too if out patient treatment is what you're looking for. I have learned so much about myself and have gained the skills I need to be successful in my recovery. Thanks to RMBH!

The staff truly cares about their patients and provided care that met my needs. The whole program exceeded my expectations and I can't thank everyone enough for the impact they made on my life and mental health. Deciding to seek treatment was not an easy thing for me but I am so glad I chose Footprints to Recovery. It wasn't all just sitting around doing therapy all day and we got the chance to do yoga, art and music therapy, and also go outdoors with Adventure Recovery. If you are considering treatment I highly encourage you to invest in yourself and give Footprints a call!

Footprints was an absolutely stellar facility to go to after completing inpatient addiction treatment. The staff were all very patient and understanding during my biggest ups and downs during treatment, and I never felt any judgement even at my lowest points. Recovery is such a serious rock to carry but the groups and providers helped me collect the tools necessary to be able to tackle this journey on my own. The nursing team was incredibly helpful in finding me medications that are actually helping my mental health and addiction cravings. I've had more success in the three months I got to share with Footprints than the years I've worked with my primary care and therapist. Andrew with case management is hilarious and hugely helpful with resources and managing work and life alongside treatment. Anika is an incredible therapist and I am sad to leave her care, but know she will continue to do amazing things for other clients. If you are struggling with any substance abuse, I highly recommend seeking help with Footprints. They will absolutely get you back on your feet.

I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. Their communication is exceptional, their collaboration with families is thoughtful, and the sustained recoveries I've seen in referred clients speak for themselves. This is a team that isn't content with where they are, they're always evolving, always raising the bar, and they hold themselves to a standard the rest of the industry should be studying. Jaywalker saved our son and helped us to show up in the way he needed us in recovery. Despite being healthcare professionals, we had no idea how to support our son. He is sober and married with 3 beautiful sons just 5 years later. I was at this facility in 2023. Katie was so helpful to me and every single staff member was very supportive and accommodating to everyone. I highly recommend APN to anyone struggling with mental health and other issues related to it. I’ve been clean since I was there for my month long treatment.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated in this case 'cause RRC saved my life. I've, unfortunately, been to a number of inpatient rehabs. Of all the places I've been my experience at RRRC was the best. Red Rock's care is superior for a number of reasons. I'm writing this six months after leaving (still sober) so i'll try to mention as many as I can remember. 1) The nursing staff was amazing. So caring. They bend over backwards to get you as comfortable as you can be while still leading you through a successful detox. Extremely patient. Never felt like a number. They looked me in the eye, listened and helped me. 2) The food. Before arriving my diet wasn't great. The chef prepares home cooked meals. It's not cafeteria food. You can tell the chef really cares and takes pride in what they're serving you. Nutrition is extremely important, so to kickstart your reintegration into eating right is huge when first getting sober. This was a godsend. I was grateful for each and every meal. And not only that...the community kitchen is open all day, so you can grab snacks, drinks, make protien shakes etc. 3) The curriculum/therapy. RRRC meets you where you're at. While they certainly promote 12 step programs...they DO NOT proselytize nor present them as the ONLY way by any means. Which is huge. There are a million ways to get and stay sober. RRRC recognizes this and teaches you the things you need to know to help you get and stay that way without falsely preaching that there's only one way to do it. 4) They listen to everyone, but don't put up with silliness. There are a lot of personalities that walk into rehab. Often colorful, always interesting. People conflict in regular everyday life. Rehab...can be a powder keg. The way RRRC dealt with problems, I felt like everyone was listened to and that they always did what was best for the community as a whole. 5) The surroundings. You're in the mountains. Awesome. 6) Facilities. Great gym. Was always comfortable in my room etc. 7) JUST ENOUGH PHONE TIME. Trust me. Not having your phone for certain parts of the day is AMAZING. You start to kinda dread the times you get to have your phone. Sort of. I could go on and on. But i was just impressed by this place. I still talk to 5 people from the crew that was present when i was there and we're all still sober. That's unheard of. But, remember, it's up to you. The only piece of advice I'd give to anyone is to be mindful of the culture you and other patients are cultivating. In close quarter, small group scenarios like rehab ONE person's vibe can change everything. So be the positive tuning fork and you'll be surprised at how good the experience can and will be. Good luck. Getting sober is rough. Until it doesn't. So hang in there (and remember to *lean on* and trust the nursing staff. Oh...and as nice as the nurses are, if you're a jerk...they're a force to be reckoned with. I saw a couple of dudes pop off for no good reason and it didn't end well. Don't mistake their sweetness for weakness hahaha.)

Peaks Recovery Center has truly been a life-changing experience for me. Coming into Peaks, I knew I needed a change, but I didn’t fully understand how much this place and the people here would impact my life. The staff genuinely care about the people they work with, and they create an environment where you can actually focus on getting better, figuring yourself out, and building a better life. What really stood out to me was the sense of community. You aren't treated like just another person going through a program. You build real connections with the other guys, share experiences, laugh together, struggle together, and encourage each other to keep moving forward. Those relationships became a huge part of my recovery. The staff have been supportive, patient, and willing to meet me where I was at. They helped me look at things differently and gave me tools that I can take with me long after leaving Peaks. I'm leaving with a completely different mindset than I had when I walked through the doors. I know recovery is something I have to continue working on every day, but Peaks gave me a foundation, the tools, and the confidence to keep doing it. I'm extremely grateful for the experience, the staff, and especially the people I met along the way. Peaks will forever hold a place in my heart. If you are looking for help with depression, addiction, alcoholism, trauma, anxiety, body image issues… you name it. This is the place that will not only help you, they will LOVE you through it! From the moment I called, I felt loved and cared for. Angela - You are an Angel! Angela kept in contact with me several times a day until I was on a plane to CO. As soon as I got there, Katie picked me up from the airport, she was a doll! She made me feel so comfortable going in. I met with a few staff members, and stayed in “detox” for 2 days. When I first got to the Women’s house, I met Miss. Pat - She’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever met. I’ll never forget her. EVER. I went in for Trauma and Depression. Within 7-10 days, I could tell my life was changing. I had never felt this good in my life. Chris, Bobbie, and his team hired a staff that is like nothing I would have ever imagined. From the Director (Sara), Doctors, Therapists/Counselors (Kate, Madi, Shayna, Sam), PA’s (Alyson), Gym Instructors (Nicole and Dan), my caseworker, Tyler, the chef, Taylor, and the staff (Miss. Pat, Cassie, Leah, Kayla, Mariano, Julie, and Cheyanne), - They are all AMAZING! Everyone has a heart of gold! Each week in group they discuss a topic. The topics discussed are LIFE CHANGING! There are things in life that you think you know, you don’t. I learned so much in group and I’ll hold onto that info for life. I also met with my Therapist/Counselor Kate, 2-3x a week. They give you the tools to become someone that you made. They aren't people who tell you what you need to do but people who help you along the way of your own growth! Alex and Allison are amazing! I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a safe and calm place to recover and reset. With a small number of patients, it really is such a close knit group. It feels safe to be here and be around such kind welcoming people. I didn’t feel judged once for anything I was struggling with. The therapists, techs, and nurses are all great and very willing to provide support. I had a really great experience with David, his demeanor and the perspectives he brought to the group and to individual sessions was amazing. Sarah, Jill, and Andy are also amazing and I really enjoyed the time they spend with us. The nurses are all amazing but I felt especially comforted by Theresa, Staci, and Evan. The techs, especially Tyler, and the psychiatrists are incredible and they really made me feel like this was a safe space to get stable. I have celiac and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make sure I had something to eat at every meal and even ran out to get snacks for me! I want to mention everyone by name but that would make it a bit too long. I highly recommend this place and would suggest any of my loved ones came here for a peaceful and nonjudgmental place to heal with a group of people who understand your struggles. Sandstone Care took my Sister in with open arms of kindness, grace and gave her a sense of peace she hasn't had in a very long time. The care she received will reveal itself in time. She did a 21 day detox and has proclaimed to never go back to bondage again! My prayers are that the Lord keeps her close to Him and that her words manifest. I read all the reviews before entering the facility three weeks ago. I have to do a major shout out to the staff to the doctors to the residence everyone. Banyan saved my life. This was my first inpatient program that was long overdue. Leaving felt like I was leaving my family. A huge shout out to my therapist Madison. I could not have asked for a better therapist. That only is she an exemplary therapist, but she truly cares about her clients. I will miss everyone at this facility. Thank you Banyan for giving me a brand new look on life and the tools in order to handle difficult situations in order to keep my sobriety.

My first time at New directions for families Valley hope was a safe secure program that supported me through the rough time of my recovery and allowing me recovery with my son and helped me build myself individually as well as a parent. Great way to keep your recovery and sobriety going. Learning new tips and tricks, meeting new people who are going through the same "out on your own" challenge makes it so much easier. Our counselor Sydney is great. From games to keep you engaged to smaller groups that help everyone connect more and feel more interactive with the group. I highly recommend taking advantage of IOP.

If I could give Valley Hope more than five stars, I would. My husband spent 30 days at Valley Hope, and it truly changed his life. He came out with hope, the tools to stay sober, and a completely different outlook on life. We recentlt attended his one-year Renewal celebration, where he received the recovery cup he made during treatment. Hearing him and the other alumni share their stories was incredibly moving. It was a powerful reminder of the life-changing work Valley Hope does every day. The alumni luncheon that followed was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in recovery and celebrate everyone's successes. The staff is amazing and treats everyone with compassion, respect, and encouragement while still holding them accountable. Recovery takes commitment and hard work, but Valley Hope gives them the foundation they need to be successful. Our family will be forever grateful to the staff at Valley Hope for giving my husband a second chance at life. We truly believe they helped save his life. Healing Pines is an amazing place. Not only are the staff courteous and professional, but the serenity and atmosphere of healing in the foothills of the Rockies is unmatched. The culture of recovery, stability and coaching is phenomenal and the alumni events for past clients lends this place a enormous sense of family and belonging. I would not be this well-equipped for life and have developed life-long relationships if it wasn't for HPR. From staff check ins, follow-on programs and on-site resources this is a top notch center that has an inclusive curriculum, as well as great on-site amenities for recreation, physical and mental well-being. Staff are caring, thoughtful and invested in the recovery process with every client that comes through. I am truly grateful to both the staff, coaches and clients that I befriended through HPR. I cannot recommend this place enough for people struggling with substance, mental or other struggles as a place of calm and recovery oriented services.

A completely transformative experience. I arrived not knowing what to expect. Within the first hour at the ranch I was on the path to becoming my authentic self. The staff is amazing. At the end of my stay I had become a different person. I would recommend HPR to anyone who needs a reset! A plus experience.

When I came to Healing Pines, I knew I was ready to start a road to recovery from my 25 year long battle with alcohol addiction. From the moment I arrived at intake, I was taken care of and made to feel welcomed and loved. My 30 days at this beautiful ranch was marked by huge breakthroughs, great camaraderie, and a fantastic curriculum focused on the body, mind, and spirit. HPR is a place where you’re not a number, you’re a human being who is cared for in all facets of recovery. The house is in a beautiful setting with tons of recreational activities (if you don’t play pickleball already, you’re gonna learn here!). You’ll learn about everything from why you drink/use, to dealing with emotions, communication, and relapse prevention. The classroom sessions are immensely valuable, but so is the time you’ll spend getting to know your counselors and fellow brothers in the house. The friendships I made here, along with the progress I made in my early recovery, are things I’ll never forget or take for granted. If you or a loved one is looking to finally get clean and sober, Healing Pines should be number one on your list. You’ll appreciate the high level of care both during AND after your time here. Thank you so much to Paul and the entire staff for giving me the opportunity to take a hard reset and get myself headed in the right direction. I will forever be grateful!

I had an exceptional experience at the Raleigh House. I learned so much during my time there and am genuinely grateful for the people who made the experience meaningful. Sober Saturdays with Rico were always a highlight and some of my favorite memories. I also want to give a special shoutout to Brandon, who was my favorite BHT. His support, kindness, and positive attitude really stood out to me. Overall, I’m thankful for everything I learned, the connections I made, and the growth I experienced. DTC was a journey of recovery, staff and therapist and nurses and BHT’s made the community worth the struggle of going through a detox and mental health crisis. Rico always brought in amazing alumni to help patients feel valid in recovery and that one can get to the other side. Rebecca the counselor helped groups feel worth it, she always came up with amazing ideas and always helped each participant feel valid. Shawn the therapist worked through every problem I had and now on the other side I can confidently say I have the tools to help myself. The bht’s, Erin, Josh, Jamie, Danille all helped patients feel at home. The nursing staff helped people feel safe and were always on top of meds, specifically Yebbers and Nathan were my favorite . This place helped me get through treatment and I would recommend anyone to come here for detox and recovery of mental health. When I came here it was the worst day of my life, these people comforted me and I will be eternally grateful. It’s structured enough to help and make sure everyone get better. Thank you for everything.

I was very impressed with The Ranch. The staff were very compassionate and tried to accommodate the needs of everyone to the best of their abilities. In my opinion, the counselors were in tune and pushed just the right amount to address the uncomfortable things, but not so hard to be unbearably uncomfortable. The groups adressed everything from childhoods traumas, schemas, inner child, core self, family dynamics and more. The BHT's (behavioral health technician) were the best. Always willing to listen and help when able. I have done a couple treatment programs before this one and I can honestly say I got the most out of this one. It was intense and totally worth it. If you're willing to put it in the work, I highly recommend the RH.

I love that this VA facility has an ER (I believe closes at 3 or 4pm MST) in the same building. Staff were also amzing and very helpful. It has a receptive feeling to it compared to the VA hospital I came from in Texas.
