So my experience here was an amazing life changing moment, that is leading the way for me to be successful in my Recovery. From every single RA to the kitchen staff, and everyone else that works there. My counselor was Jon, he was funny, blunt, caring and very smart. Im grateful to have met him. Cheryl and Kelly may seem like tough cookies, but they are god sent human beings that want nothing but the best for each and everyone of you. I see the hate in the comments..... The program is simple, follow the rules, learn, participate, and dont waste a bed for people that really want this!. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Im blessed i got the chance. Burkwood is an amazing place. Their staff truly care and are so rich of information to share about addiction, recovery, and real life. They’re are meant for their jobs. I’ve learned so much while I was there. I valued the daily book we filled out on our own, fully engaging and eye opening. I was lucky to have Pete as my counselor. His approach was thorough and helpful. My only complaint is that it was crowded there and access to phones, bathrooms, and laundry was a bit tricky but maybe that will change at some point. Thank you Burkwood!

My time at Burkwood was amazing, to say the least. The staff were great and it truly is up to you if you want this place to help you! Take what you can from it and be grateful. Reading some of these horrible reviews is crazy to me! It’s not a vacation - for a treatment center it’s pretty damn nice! The classes do get a little monotonous, but for the most part were engaging and helpful. My counselor Derek was the absolute best and the RAs Diane, William, Kristin, Aidan and Ashley were genuine and helpful. They are heavily rooted in AA which I thought I would hate at first, but if you’re just open-minded and listen to what speaks to you it’s not too shabby. They helped me set up IOP and sober living after and I’m enjoying the beginning of my sober life thus far. Thank you Burkwood ❤️

I spent almost 6 months at the gables from oct.2018 to April 2019. That place saved My life and changed My life. I'm still in contact with some of the old staff and made a lot of connections with some amazing woman. No cell phone was one of the best ideas. MY mental health has remained stable and I have little over 5 yrs of sobriety. Thank you for changing and saving My life,!!!!!!

The Gables was by far the best treatment I have been to, which is saying a lot as I have been to inpatient 15 times. The staff thoroughly care. They are so compassionate, professional and kind. The food was amazing. I felt safe and was able to process a lot of issues plaguing me for years. They treat the clients with respect and go above. I love this place!

CEDAR RIDGE is an essential reason in my return to recovery. Staff; welcoming, skilled, and confident; crucially needed in spite of the COVID pandemic during my brief time there. I have fought my mental health since I was a teen. (51 now)
I was in United Hospital for a few weeks after being off my meds and having some "issues". After the hospital I came here for 90 days of intensive treatment. It has literally changed my life and outlook ON life more than I could've ever imagined. The staff and the other residents have been amazing. I got my meds all lined up and have been taking them religiously. The groups and the actual treatment has helped me enormously to the point that friends I had lost because of WHO I had become with my bipolar flaring up have come back and are so supportive. I will never forget what Maghakian Place has done for me and there's still two months to go. If you need help, trust me....it's out there. Don't be afraid to WIN the battle you've been fighting!!!!! I usually do not write reviews, but wanted to take time to share my patient experience at Regions Hospital. I had an emergency large kidney stone causing significant pain and went straight to the Emergency Room at Regions Hospital. The receptionists, intake staff, nurses, doctors, urologists were so empathetic and took great care of me. I am so thankful for Dr. Jessica Wetterlin's expertise and overall kidney surgery skills. I am extremely grateful to my care team Lauren, RN and Jaamie, PCA. I am healthy again and can go home to my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had a wonderful experience at the new Regions Family Birth Center. As a first-time mom with a high-risk pregnancy, my care team, comprising nurses and midwives, was truly amazing and incredibly supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better team. The minute I walked into the facility I knew I was in good hands. They were knowledgeable, well-equipped, and always kept me informed about everything. I want to give a shoutout to nurses Zohara and Nicole, who were truly my rock stars during the most painful labor experience. They were nurturing and cared for me throughout my stay, and I am truly grateful to have had them by my side. Thank you, Zohara and Nicole. You both are the epitome of what nurses should be, and my daughter and I were in great hands.

As always, the care I received in the ER, and then inpatient was outstanding! The doctors who treated me were compassionate and thorough in their diagnostic evaluations and treatment. The nurses were so kind and caring, as were every other staff member who cared for me or I came into contact with. This will always be my hospital of choice!

firstly i had a great experience with dr kimberly, she listened to all of my concerns and addressed every single one. secondly the lab technician/phlebotomist (unsure of their title) Jorge was amazing, i have a huge fear of needles, i end up passing out every time but he did an amazing job of distracting me and making it a comfortable and the best experience i’ve had getting my blood drawn, you don’t typically get that from interaction that’s so short. and my test results with explanations and recommendations were back within a day. everyone i talked to from the front desk to the nurses were incredibly kind and professional. will definitely be making this location my go to for my health.

I am happy with the breakfast 5:30AM and dinner 4:15PM meals also to mention the freedom of being able to come in at a decent time and leave back untill sleep time, not having to be outside awaiting to go in late or not at all. They have different groups and events the people can come and check out. I also enjoy the ICCM life center visits here on Friday Nights for prayer and community. They have loaves and fish whom come on Saturdays for all needing extra help with food.
The transportation around is perfect, also to mention other close by downtown free storage for items during the day and sharing and caring hands free by donation services for the youth and help for the people and those newly into the city.

I am Alan Eller Two Horses and I am a native american alcoholic. I was a client at Health Recovery Center in the winter of 94 and again in the spring of 05. The first thoughts I had when I entered into this treatment facility was why do I get to go here and it seems like hardly anybody else does. I had lost my license and had to take a bus to treatment and for the first time in my life found myself getting there early .Many chronic alcoholics like myself get to a point where they feel trapped by this disease and just give into it, thinking that it will eventually kill them but thats just the way it is, whether they've been to talk therapy treatment or not. I am the only one left in my immediate family, my father, mother and younger sister have all passed on either from addictions or illness directly connected to their addictions. I am alive today because of Health Recovery Center and the rest of my family could have been had they been able to attend and receive this treatment. Even though I relapsed several times I had the tools from this program to get back on track by myself and also the content feeling that I can always come back for the full program. The diet and detox formulas are not hard to follow but once were back out in the real world we get overwhelmed by family and events that try to make us feel guilty for not eating the sugary junk foods offered at them. Over time we can give in and once we open that door we are setting ourselves up for a relapse. I did. Its great to know I can come back to aftercare or the full program any time I need to save my life again.
