When I made the ultimate decision to admit myself to this facility, I was greatest decision I've ever made in my life. It was a wonderful journey and a great experience. I learned so much about recovery, I learned so much about myself. They gave me all the tools, information, coping skills to manage myself with my addiction to stay clean and sober.
I am forever thankful and grateful to the entire staff for believing in me, and not giving up on me when I didn't believed myself and for also giving me a new lease on life to be the best of version myself so I can live the life I am supposed to live.

I normally don’t do these but I was so impressed with the services I received from Dr. Caldwell at Advantage. He was more concerned about finding out the truth and getting to the root of the problem than anything else. He wasn't trying to push medication on me or bill the insurance. He was more concerned with my health than anything. Would have given him 10 stars if it were an option. But the whole center in itself was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for mental health needs!!

This place saved my life. It’s not the easiest program in the world but if you want to disconnect from the world and really start over with yourself and do better, this is the place to go. No phones no Internet no connection to the outside world except for snail mail, which sounds terrible and it does take some getting used to but, that's what I had to do to get my mind focused on recovery instead of worrying about everything else. If I ever get back in a tough spot and don't know where to go I can always call this place and they'll find me a bed if I'm serious about it. I thrive there and I’ve met some great guys in the program I’m still friends with.

This is definitely the place you want to go to for help to get sober. Everyone is always friendly. Yes I have changed counslers a couple of times but they have all been very friendly, caring and respectful. They are never crowded and you are usually in and out in a timely manner for pick up's.

This place is great.
I relocated from Calhoun, Georgia earlier this year. The differences between the clinic up there and this one are plenty. The staff down here is amazing and have always treated me respectfully, as I do them. I was going daily to dose while up there, they are slow to phase up, I wasn't here a week and Health Qwest informed me that I would be coming twice weekly.
If you're struggling with addiction and unsure what to do or where to turn and have tried everything, then I highly recommend this place.

It does take a while to see a Dr at the ER but, that's normal. Excluding the ER I've been in & out of here over the years and I can't recall any issues that may have been cause for concern. Went to have blood work done about a month ago. It took 20 - 30 minutes. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I use the pharmacy also. The staff are courteous and respectful. They stay pretty busy but, they fill my meds in about 10 minutes.

I cant speak for other people but im sad lakebridge behavioral health is closing because they worked to help so many people. I was admitted to the acute unit in aug 2015 and then somtime in 2016. The staff was always making sure everyone was safe and as comfortable as possible.I have been to other facilities like this in Georgia and none of them were any help to me or any good other than Lakebridge . The staff was also very professional .. If they were still open i would 100% recommend them to anyone seeking behavioral treatment in Georgia. I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them.
In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope.

This place literally saved my life, my career, and my family. I was "functioning" in my opinion, but I was really blind to what was happening around me.
My marriage was falling apart, my career was spiraling slowly downwards, my kids had a parent who was always drinking at home, and who might show up to a soccer game or a cheerleading contest drunk and loud and embarrassing.
The truth was that I was dying in front of my kids and my spouse, my job was dying, but I thought I was living.
I too came here under the "6 to 8 week" suggestion, but I knew how it goes. Admissions will usually tell someone that just to get them in. I was not naive in that fashion.
Yes, some reviews say "bait and switch" or "I was told this at the beginning", but what they are not telling you is that everyone gets evaluated when they first get here, and based on cognitive tests, and how messed up you and your life are, patients either leave a little earlier, right on time, or they need a little more time (like me).
I figured that I drank and used drugs for years, and that it would take more than under two months for me to even begin to get better.
I learned new skills, got great therapy and education and care from the staff, and after 3 1/2 months I came back home. I work in television production, and my co-workers and bosses were so supportive and understanding. My family...took a little while before the trust and love came back, but it did eventually, and it feels good because I put in a lot of hard work.
Listen, I know a lot of people come to treatment for the "band aid" to fix whatever problem is slapping them in the face. But if you really, truly want to get well, get sober, and get the kind of help you need, there is no better place than Talbott. You might have to stay a little longer than those other "spin-dry" types of rehabs that just keep recycling patients who keep relapsing, but I swear this place works miracles. I am living proof.

I’ve, unfortunately, attended treatment multiple times and The Bluff is a notch above the rest. The staff (techs, clinicians, and medical/nursing staff) all truly care and are passionate about what they do. Also, a special shout out to the kitchen staff (Nick, Knox, and Dorothy) and the housecleaning crew. Amazing food and the cabins are well maintained and cleaned regularly. Highly recommend The Bluff.
