He was more concerned about finding out the truth and getting to the root of the problem than anything else. He wasn't trying to push medication on me or bill the insurance. He was more concerned with my health than anything. Would have given him 10 stars if it were an option. But the whole center in itself was a very pleasant experience. The results and the experience at BOH and completely up to your willingness to be open to the process and willing to follow some direction. The Mangers and the others there that are there for you the right reasons are truly there to help you. Take the time you have there to be a sponge and soak up everything you can and learn how to live life a new way and this can be a life changing experience if your not willing to do these things it doesn’t matter what treatment center you go to your just doing time and taking up a bed for someone who is truly ready and it can be life or death. Roscoe is there to guide everyone and will always be there for current residents as well as those who are no longer there. He will always answer his phone and spend as much time as needed to help another addict/alcoholic he has truly found his calling in life and if you have the chance to get a bed at the Bridges of Hope I beg of you to hang with the winners, make life long friends and take advantage of every moment you have there. You never know when you leave that you will need the knowledge you learned there to fall back on and if your in a tough spot. Call Roscoe or anyone from the Bridges and they don’t care if your currently a resident or a past resident or in my case a resident who had been there multiple times. No judgement was ever held over my head just Love and friends that truly want to see you change your life. Except the help grow in your sobriety and help the next person. Stay in contact with the ones on the same page and I can tell your from personal experience I have lifelong friends who will always be there for me and any others that may need them. If you are considering going to the Bridges and you are ready to change your life and wiling to follow some simple directions and put in the work it’s truly amazing what God has in store for you. It’s not the easiest program in the world but if you want to disconnect from the world and really start over with yourself and do better, this is the place to go. No phones no Internet no connection to the outside world except for snail mail, which sounds terrible and it does take some getting used to but, that's what I had to do to get my mind focused on recovery instead of worrying about everything else. If I ever get back in a tough spot and don't know where to go I can always call this place and they'll find me a bed if I'm serious about it. Georgina Lopez 3 months ago I have been to this hospital plenty of times I went through the ER and had my fair share of problems, but today my son had to have surgery in the pediatric unit of the childrens hospital, and from the beginning to the end the hospitality we received was top teir, my sons pre-op and post-op nurses were so sweet and attentive!! they really care for their jobs! The surgeon Dr.Glenn was very kind and he explained everything to me before the surgery and after. My sons pre-op nurse was over the top with her kindness to my son she treated him like her own. I left with the biggest smile on my face and so did my son. And the surgery itself took less than an hour. Thank you to the wonderful Pediatric surgery team!!!
