When I made the ultimate decision to admit myself to this facility, I was greatest decision I've ever made in my life. It was a wonderful journey and a great experience. I learned so much about recovery, I learned so much about myself. They gave me all the tools, information, coping skills to manage myself with my addiction to stay clean and sober.
I am forever thankful and grateful to the entire staff for believing in me, and not giving up on me when I didn't believed myself and for also giving me a new lease on life to be the best of version myself so I can live the life I am supposed to live.

I normally don’t do these but I was so impressed with the services I received from Dr. Caldwell at Advantage. He was more concerned about finding out the truth and getting to the root of the problem than anything else. He wasn't trying to push medication on me or bill the insurance. He was more concerned with my health than anything. Would have given him 10 stars if it were an option. But the whole center in itself was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for mental health needs!!

This place saved my life coming up on two years sober now I thank God for Penfield Ford and Bill what they say is true Jesus walks those halls coming up on 5 years clean and sober!
After being let down by providers over and over again, I finally reached out to River Edge thinking they could give me a list of recommended providers. They saw my child and I feel so confident in their ability and resources. The intake process is a little time consuming but so glad we stuck with it!

I work at a different behavioral health facility, and myself, and co workers came to visit their supported employment! The staff was friendly, informative, and very open minded. They welcomed us with open arms! I love their space it’s so big, and beautiful ❤️
For grown men such as myself. Who have made it by in active addiction until it truly became uncomfortable and all of the consequences of the life I was living started to catch up to me. This was just what I needed. If you are ready to get sober and have truly had enough there is no better place! You will dive deep into step work get through all your steps if your willing to be honest follow the program. The results and the experience at BOH and completely up to your willingness to be open to the process and willing to follow some direction. The Mangers and the others there that are there for you the right reasons are truly there to help you. Take the time you have there to be a sponge and soak up everything you can and learn how to live life a new way and this can be a life changing experience if your not willing to do these things it doesn’t matter what treatment center you go to your just doing time and taking up a bed for someone who is truly ready and it can be life or death. Roscoe is there to guide everyone and will always be there for current residents as well as those who are no longer there. He will always answer his phone and spend as much time as needed to help another addict/alcoholic he has truly found his calling in life and if you have the chance to get a bed at the Bridges of Hope I beg of you to hang with the winners, make life long friends and take advantage of every moment you have there. You never know when you leave that you will need the knowledge you learned there to fall back on and if your in a tough spot. Call Roscoe or anyone from the Bridges and they don’t care if your currently a resident or a past resident or in my case a resident who had been there multiple times. No judgement was ever held over my head just Love and friends that truly want to see you change your life. Except the help grow in your sobriety and help the next person. Stay in contact with the ones on the same page and I can tell your from personal experience I have lifelong friends who will always be there for me and any others that may need them. If you are considering going to the Bridges and you are ready to change your life and wiling to follow some simple directions and put in the work it’s truly amazing what God has in store for you. I have seen miracle after miracle. God bless the Bridges of Hope and what they are doing for everyone that walks through the door. You just have to be a man and be willing to do your part.

This place saved my life. It’s not the easiest program in the world but if you want to disconnect from the world and really start over with yourself and do better, this is the place to go. No phones no Internet no connection to the outside world except for snail mail, which sounds terrible and it does take some getting used to but, that's what I had to do to get my mind focused on recovery instead of worrying about everything else. If I ever get back in a tough spot and don't know where to go I can always call this place and they'll find me a bed if I'm serious about it. I thrive there and I’ve met some great guys in the program I’m still friends with.

This is definitely the place you want to go to for help to get sober. Everyone is always friendly. Yes I have changed counslers a couple of times but they have all been very friendly, caring and respectful. They are never crowded and you are usually in and out in a timely manner for pick up's.

I have a question...I am currently on Suboxone, do they give you a month supply or do you have to come in every week?
My child is seeing Mr. Compere, and so far, we are beyond pleased with his professionalism, kindness, and understanding. No matter our situation, he has been more than willing to work with us in order to meet our needs.

I was a child patient here in the mid 1980s. I lived on the children's wing for over a year , while in foster care. I have tons of memories about this place. The staff back then were great and honestly cared about me . They even stored some of my things, including my bicycle in their basement for me after I was adopted.
I unexpectedly ended up hospitalized for the last 5 nights. The entire staff has gone to way more than I would ever have hoped for to get me as comfortable and out of pain as possible. I am beyond grateful. The people who work here on every level are the very best. Even though they don't have a reason to do more than just their job they each and everyone go way above and completely over the top to help in any way they can. It has been a very painful and stressful week to say the least but being treated as if you are family and REALLY CARED about has helped so much. Every doctor,nurse,tech.........EVERYONE! The best. Thank you all. Kindness is great for easing pain. It makes you hurt a little less.

I no I give my nurses a hard time when I come but they no I mean well and it's all out of love and good laughter from Ms.Felicia at the front desk who checks me in who always have a smile and bright and chipper spirit every time I come in down to all the ladies who try and stick me and get blood I know I aggrave them all with my antics but they are a wonder group of women who cares about what they do. Dr.McQueen is such a caring and passionate doctor she talks to you break everything down to you and make sure you completely understand what's going on with you and you have a sound mind about everything. Now Ms.Billie she is the best at her job because I'm a hard stick you can hardly ever get blood from me and this lady gets it 1st try every time, call her Queen of port poke cause she will get that blood. Everyone here is so nice, comforting and you can always tell when someone loves what they do the passion attention to detail I appreciate them all I really do❤️ I'll see you lady's in 3wks 🤗
They are giving my grandson Trentton a second chance and he is looking forward to it I pray he learns a lot he will come out a great young man thank you guys for allowing him to come please work with him take care Trebtton I love you.

I cant speak for other people but im sad lakebridge behavioral health is closing because they worked to help so many people. I was admitted to the acute unit in aug 2015 and then somtime in 2016. The staff was always making sure everyone was safe and as comfortable as possible.I have been to other facilities like this in Georgia and none of them were any help to me or any good other than Lakebridge . The staff was also very professional .. If they were still open i would 100% recommend them to anyone seeking behavioral treatment in Georgia. Thank you lakebridge staff for all that you did while yall were open. I can say they saved atleast 1 life ❤👍

Great place in the 7 weeks there I never got up and regretted going to the meeting. The staff was amazing and treated everyone with great respect I highly recommend this place for recovery for professional patients for sure they target your profession directly getting you the help personally and mentally also completing the needed paperwork.

I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them.
In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope.
People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.
After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there.
I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more.
Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey.
Wonderful place with great staff. You may not know it or believe it but this place is the BEST chance you have at getting sober and learning how to live a good life. Period.

MARR has been a wonderful experience for me. The entire staff is great. Always felt loved and supported. Learned a lot about myself and was provided the tools I need to live a happy healthy life. Very grateful for MARR and everything they do.

My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I especially love the Professionals Program (ARP) where I participated in Mirror Image classes, working with peers who had overcome their addiction and achieved the life I wanted to be living. Recovery is truly one day at a time and MARR is the best place to make each day count.
