The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. I really show you the way to being happy sober. Basically they show you how to do it yourself so you make yourself happy while being sober. Going to Bridge house for the first time was an life changing amazing experience especially being there for the holidays up until about 2 weeks ago when i graduated the program. They offer groups I never thought I would get into yoga and meditation. I now enjoy doing both because of bridge house. They have awesome food that I used to always cook they actually care about what you're interested in making they buy all the ingredients for you to cook for the house on your scheduled day .They have very good groups and peer support groups. Dr. Doss was unhappy to hear that a previous prescription I had was unaffordable for me, so she took extra time to find an alternative but equally effective prescription option. She also was very attentive in asking about my family history and took extra care after learning that I was adopted to make sure she had an understanding that I was aware of paying attention to any possible inherent conditions and gave me not negative responses, but positive encouragement to stay on top of my health. She was more interested in keeping me on anxiety mesds when my test results showed my anxiety had totally subsided. I will no longer see the APN Slyvia Giron as I should have discontinued seeing her after I requested an increase in dosage of my ADHD medication. Im a professional in corporate experiencing major trauma and she stated something to the effect that you are not going to sell these pills? Apparently Sylvia did not read my chart. A professional experiencing trauma. Why would I need to sell meds that I needed to take? Why would she make such an offensive statement to me? Because I was already experiencing so much trauma I only shared that statement with others. I felt Sylvia was interested in prescribing anxiety meds because as I got better and my anxiety subsided she still wanted me to take these pills. I rejected the script. The only ding was the urine hat in my discharge unit room was used not changed but I caught that and the nurse changed it (got me a new one). The whole team professional throughout. Diligent on following patient safety rules from what I observed and patient centered is how I felt through my whole experience. They were also professional and kind to my family member. We got in and out smoothly. There is no parking lot fees to worry about only the highway and driving through dark residential streets is something to consider. People lived in gutters slept on sidewalks, did anything necessary to fullfull our addictions and then go to a state funded place and complain that it is an awful place. I'll take ATP over active addiction any day. People don't realize how stressful counselors jobs are. They are dealing with some of the worst, entitled people America has to offer. A place can only do so much. They can only help you as much as you want it. If you have found yourself in ATP and are ungrateful for whatever they have to offer, you are not ready. They treated me better than I treated myself. So, I learned alot from ATP. It's not a full on rehab. It's more of a first step to sobriety. THANK YOU ATP FOR TAKING CARE OF ME BETTER THAN I CARED FOR MYSELF. YOU TOOK ME IN WHEN I NEEDED IT THE MOST. ILL NEVER FORGET WHERE MY SOBRIETY BECAME A POSSIBILITY AND THEN REALITY. The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. I owe it to NIRC and I hope to, one day, give back to the organization that has given me a life I am proud of and excited to live every day! Thank you!!

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They saved my lyfe for sure and are currently saving my girlfriends lyfe. I can not say enough good things about this place and trust me if it was wack I'd put them on blast. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. If your struggling with anything this is the best possible place for you. They truly save lives.

It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. I went to bridge house after going to an inpatient. Going to Bridge house for the first time was an life changing amazing experience especially being there for the holidays up until about 2 weeks ago when i graduated the program. They offer groups I never thought I would get into yoga and meditation. I now enjoy doing both because of bridge house. The physician who saw me today for a routine check up went above and beyond. Dr. Doss was unhappy to hear that a previous prescription I had was unaffordable for me, so she took extra time to find an alternative but equally effective prescription option. She also was very attentive in asking about my family history and took extra care after learning that I was adopted to make sure she had an understanding that I was aware of paying attention to any possible inherent conditions and gave me not negative responses, but positive encouragement to stay on top of my health. Social distancing was in full swing at the Deerfield office, and the desk attendants were very diligent in directing patients as such.

My Therapist is Theresa Mikosz. She is amazing. I starting meeting with her at a very critical time in my life. She helped me through when it all. She is sensitive, to your concerns, listens, hears you, questions, understands and offer recommendations, to help improve your life. I highly recommend her. She will be retiring and I will miss her terribly. I think she is a professional that has mastered her craft! The APN I was assigned Sylvia Giron lacks all sensitivity. She was more interested in keeping me on anxiety mesds when my test results showed my anxiety had totally subsided. I will no longer see the APN Slyvia Giron as I should have discontinued seeing her after I requested an increase in dosage of my ADHD medication. Im a professional in corporate experiencing major trauma and she stated something to the effect that you are not going to sell these pills? Apparently Sylvia did not read my chart. A professional experiencing trauma. Why would I need to sell meds that I needed to take? Why would she make such an offensive statement to me? Because I was already experiencing so much trauma I only shared that statement with others. I felt Sylvia was interested in prescribing anxiety meds because as I got better and my anxiety subsided she still wanted me to take these pills. I rejected the script. She scolded me for stop taking the meds. Again Theresa Mikosz has been Amazing 👏 Thank you Theresa!

I would like to thank Claudia at CST Counseling and Consultation for her genuine help in guiding me to find the correct resource. I had called a few days ago seeking a service that this practice doesn't offer. Claudia was able to clarify what type of service I was looking for and provided at least 5 different referrals for places that do offer this service. CST was actually the 3rd place I called looking for this service. The other practices simply said they didn't offer it and that was that. I sensed a care here for clients that you can feel immediately when you talk to them. She could have said they don't offer the service like the others, but her willingness to find other places that do really touched me and sincerely helped me to find the right service. Thank you so much Claudia, and if I ever need therapy services, this is the place. God bless you and your practice and what you do for others!

I had just gave birth to a Beautiful baby girl!!! In the time of our homelessness, the shelter we were staying at refered me to them!! I called them and made appointment. When the time came I went to the appointment and they were so sweet, understanding, and very resourceful!!!. I was amazed, and happy!!! First off, it's a blessing itself to have a facility FREE OF CHARGE!!! They help step by step, to get your life in order and back together again!!!♥️ Nicasa has truly been a blessing to us, and always will be!!! We are still with them still this day!!! Ms. Cindy is 1 of the few and rare woman I have ever met. This woman was a Huge BLESSING!!!! THE THINGS SHE DID FOR ME WAS RARE!!! SHE WOULD GO OUT IF HER WAY, TO MAKE SURE I WAS MAKING IT TO MY APPOINTMENTS, AND ALSO A SUPPORT TO ME EMOTIONALLY AND MENTALLY!!! I am so grateful for Nicasa and the incredible support I received from their team. With the guidance of my caseworker, Ms. Darlene, I was able to make real progress in my life. She not only encouraged me to continue my education, but also helped me get my driver’s license and supported me through the process of having my background expunged. Because of her kindness, professionalism, and dedication, I have been able to put my life back together in ways I never thought possible. I also want to recognize her supervisor, Ms. Sindey, whose support and understanding made a huge difference. Both of them carry a genuine heart for the community and give their time, energy, and compassion to help families across Lake County. What makes Nicasa so special is that they are not just another organization—they truly care. They spend countless hours serving people and making a positive impact. I gave birth here a week ago and my experience was amazing. Every staff member was attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The care I received exceeded my expectations. My labor and delivery nurses as well as postpartum nurses were so amazing. I worked with Dr. Oshin and Dr. Hughs and both were so amazing as well. I truly felt cared for and listened to the entire labor and delivery. Couldn’t have asked for better doctors and nurses. 10/10!

I had procedure done at Highland Park Hospital and everyone from the main entrance receptionist, same day surgery receptionist, pre-op nurse, Dr Stephans (anesthesiologist), anesthesia nurse, Dr. Linn, Dr. Linn’s PA or resident (Stephanie), the post-op recovery room nurse (Christy), Discharge unit PST, nurse Anthony, and Patient Escort were respectful, kind, and took good care of me. I had never been to Highland Park Hospital only knew it existed. Hospital looked clean and organized to me. The only ding was the urine hat in my discharge unit room was used not changed but I caught that and the nurse changed it (got me a new one). The whole team professional throughout. Diligent on following patient safety rules from what I observed and patient centered is how I felt through my whole experience. They were also professional and kind to my family member. We got in and out smoothly. There is no parking lot fees to worry about only the highway and driving through dark residential streets is something to consider. However, we must drive through residential areas when going to Evanston Hospital too. Thank you Endeavor Highland Park Hospital.

I was there a few times. The LAST AND FINAL time was about 12 years ago. I was meant to be there. I actually met my husband there. Lol. These people care... they do care, if you care. Counselors can only do so much to help someone who is NOT ready for help. This was state funded. I don't understand all the bad reviews. It's better than Cook County Jail, Lake county Jail and McHenry County Jail. People lived in gutters slept on sidewalks, did anything necessary to fullfull our addictions and then go to a state funded place and complain that it is an awful place. I'll take ATP over active addiction any day. People don't realize how stressful counselors jobs are. They are dealing with some of the worst, entitled people America has to offer. A place can only do so much. They can only help you as much as you want it. If you have found yourself in ATP and are ungrateful for whatever they have to offer, you are not ready. They treated me better than I treated myself. So, I learned alot from ATP. It's not a full on rehab. It's more of a first step to sobriety. THANK YOU ATP FOR TAKING CARE OF ME BETTER THAN I CARED FOR MYSELF. YOU TOOK ME IN WHEN I NEEDED IT THE MOST. ILL NEVER FORGET WHERE MY SOBRIETY BECAME A POSSIBILITY AND THEN REALITY. NEVER THOUGHT ID GET CLEAN. EVER. IF I CAN DO IT, ANYONE CAN! THANK YOU AGAIN ATP FOR SHOWING ME RESPECT WHILE I WAS GIVING IT ALSO. The last in the reviews that said she got hit, I guarantee, you got him to that point. I've seen alot of disrespect and patients who think they are owed the world in a STATE FUNDED 2 week stay. (If I remember correctly it was 2 weeks.) YOU get back what you put out into the world. Thank You ATP for helping me get off the streets of Chicago's West side and taking me in. It was my husband, Michael, who was admitted to St. Alexius. He has nothing but praise for the nurses and doctors. The only problem I found was I would tell someone he was hard of hearing but it took day 3 before they added to the board in his room. They would talk to him but he wasn't hearing them. They need to pay more attention. Also the night nurse gave him a sleeping pill but they woke him up every 2 hours for blood, etc. It made him feel weird and he got no sleep at all.
