This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

Although I have not personally needed their services, I have acquaintances who were very fortunate to have been helped by ARCA. I was also lucky enough to have been invited to the premiere of the movie Antagonist. I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. I spent over seven months here receiving treatment in their RRTP program. I’ve been to numerous programs and facilities. This is by far the greatest facilities, program, and staff that I have encountered in the VA system. This is probably one of the best VA’s and programs in the nation.

As a spouse of veteran with his power of attorney, representative, and caretaker, I was thankful to receive information years ago regarding my spouse demanding me to come home, calling my phone sometimes 60 to 70 times every time I left home, with excuse he had multiple VA appointments and that I was preventing him from tending to by having car. One time I drove straight to VA with POA to learn he had no appointments - and many prior times were excuses as well. Somebody informed him of me being at the VA, leading to him thinking I was sleeping with someone there ( no ). I spoke with pharmacist regarding meds he was put on then quicky taken off Prozac and started acting bipolar, borderline schizophrenic when doing marijuana and drugs, wanting me to join in then thinking I'm a bore cause I wouldn't, put it in my food anyway then make fun of how I act. They said there is nothing in his chart that is wrong with him - nothing to make him abuse, grape, or be evil. Its just who he is. After raising a type 1 diabetic that would hit, kick, scream, and abuse me too during her sugar rages, I realized I never retaliated despite ups and downs in my life, and my veteran spouse and type 1 do not act that to others. I was thankful for the clarity as I have for years, and would have continued giving grace forever for bad behavior. I am not the military person, not veteran - I am a spouse caretaker thankful they helped me with information provided.

At least once a year we get to come over to this clinic for annual wellness exams. I've always found everybody here to be downright helpful professional courteous and efficient. It may have time seem like there's a lot of folks in the waiting room but they move along pretty swiftly, and you can always count on good conversation while you're waiting 😁

My experience with the 4th floor staff and Genoa pharmacy has been top notch from my first day. Charissa, Steven, tom, absolutely exceptional at what they do. Although I have not personally needed their services, I have acquaintances who were very fortunate to have been helped by ARCA. I was also lucky enough to have been invited to the premiere of the movie Antagonist. From a support perspective: The person I was with was an addict so my perspective is one from a supportive role as opposed to a person in need of services. Comprehensive Connections was truly a godsend imo. They worked with us multiple times getting us a detox bed , trying to make sure that the afflicted was supported in every way possible. I will never forget their kindness, the time they took to help the afflicted , feel comfortable, safe and secure to even leave the vehicle. I had never been through a situation like this before and they took the time to answer my questions, to take my calls whenever I was worried and to encourage both of us to continue the fight. I wish the staff all the luck in the world because you deserve so much more. I hope your paychecks triple and even then , it probably still wouldn't be enough. If you or a loved one are considering getting help for your addictions you need to know that it's always going to be hard. Whichever road you choose is going to be hard, be it sobriety and recovery or continuing down the path that you're already familiar with. The great news , though , is that you get to pick which difficulty you want to live with. I hope you choose yourself. I hope you choose love and life and peace even if it seems scary at first. And if you are a support person who has a loved one with addictions, please make sure you also get help. It is insanely lonely and difficult and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Find support. Be mad. Get help. Fight for yourself.

Helped me in multiple stages of my life! Went when I was 18 and again when I was 28 and both times was able to be sober afterwards! They have great people who work there and is a rehab that works as long as you commit yourself to gaining something from the program!
