Best inpatient unit I know of! Staff are kind and caring, the place is clean, the food is fantastic, it's overall just a good place! They helped me get better in a matter of three days!

My experience with CMHC varies. Thankfully, most of it was positive. I been going here since 2020 or earlier. My therapist, at the time, was very helpful but eventually quit. This led to me meeting my new therapist. Very kind, sweet, and goes up and beyond for my mental health. However, that cannot be said about my previous psychiatrist. She kept on booking up her appointments to the point she could barely see me or anyone, leaving voicemails doesn't do anything, and I even went to the hospital after I told her I needed different medicine and she "couldn't be seen" despite it being an emergency. Don't get me wrong, my psychiatrist was intelligent, but incredibly and sadly unavailable. I believe she has quit working there or has very limited patients now. When trying to find ANOTHER psychiatrist from CMHC, they were all booked up constantly. So I just found an online psychiatrist and went from there. TLDR: I'm glad I got the help I needed and still do, but I understand everyone's bad experiences here too. It does not surprise me. However, I would give this place a chance if it meant my mental health was on the line.

Community Mental Health Center is a great place to start your recovery! I know many who have succeeded thanks to them! I couldn't have done it without their help and support!

They take the time to listen to you on what you have to say and they do what they thinks best for you

The organization cares about their clients, both women, men and unborn. Working with the Men on understanding where they are has been a blessing for me. And we are getting trained by a wide variety of people who have gone through what PCP works on best - crisis.

A comfortable, nice space with supportive staff who care about you and your child's well-being. They offer services in many areas as well as the emotional support that a woman needs during a trial she may be facing.

I would like to share that the VOA halfway house is what you make of it. If you want to re-enter society and take care of yourself, this is the place to be. There are advantages to being here and taking steps forwards. You are respected here when you return respect. There are guidelines for a reason. Reading other reviews before my daughter went there had me very concerned. I felt better even after the first few days. There is a local church with in a block to attend

Great place to visit but I wouldn't want to stay

I was a young adult, in high school on my way to graduating, I became homeless. This place stepped in, however, definitely I paid the price, the longer they pay ya rent or help, it's a catch 22. Within yrs there was a shift on me focusing on college, job opportunities, communication skills; to me going to mental institution; then I was diagnosis. I overheard my diagnosis later on, by accident by a caseworker. Fast forward, I made a choice, and decided I didn't want to be a STIGMA. I moved on, started my (In home)business, changed me in a optimistic way!!! Decided I wanted a child,even got married to the love of my life💗 Fast forward 🏃Do you know tell this day, and for the rest of my life my S.S carries me having a mental illness or disability?🤔🙄😒 I work my tail off for mine everyday, I decided I didn't want to take the easy way out, I prefered being productive. At the end of the day, no matter where I go, I'm labed.Moral of the story is this: Take care of your children, or this world will, rather it be prison or you being out here fake free ,with a logo on your head, take care of your babies or they will have a plan and place for them...

I was there in 2015 and it was the best shelter I was ever in. Very nice beds and interactive area. Free wifi. Food was decent. I believe people between 16-24 year olds can stay.

Friendly and professional staff. I was able to use a prior AODE accredited program completion certificate and only had to pay for the assessment. If you live in NKY and have a DUI this is the place to go.

Good place for anyone in recovery to have a safe environment to live. They provide linens, laundry pods, toilet paper & also body wash and shampoo when available. Place is close to Kroger and a bunch of other places. Life Learning Center is across the tracks and recovery meetings are within walking distance.

This use to be a great place when Dr.park was alive. He died 2 months ago and since has been down hill. They keep you there hours after your appointment time waiting to be seen. It use to be totally different. The doctor now puts Dr.park down every visit since. Which has been 2, today would have made 3. But i didnt go because I took covid test and tested positive and was told, it did not matter come any ways or no medication. This blew me away, Also found out the whole time my insurance was excepted when they said it was not. Ive paid out of pocket this year right at 4000 dollars.....it is now 2 months later I've returned to this office. I switched doctors and she us absolutely the best person ever. And since returning they are in the process of returning my money. And the ones that were there causing this problem is no longer there. So once I recieve my money I will let you know to see if it actually comes through. Sorry took son long to get back on here. It's now July 2025, and Chelsea sparks is the best doctor there could be. She's there to listen and to help you in any way she can. I wish all doctors was like her

Excellent center for outpatient therapy!

Persons reading these reviews might get confused as there are two sides to this place. One is mental health where there is counseling and medication for mental disorders. I have not seen one bad review from that side. The other side is medicated assisted drug recovery center. I am not positive of the exact definition this is my own. Most of these reviews appear to be toward the medicated assisted recovery side. There are some "glitches" for the drug side but for the most part it is a really good place o be when you decide that you are done with active addiction. The staffing has changed within the last 4 or 5 years. It was a wonderful change and the place is very much so a good place to be. I personally attend both sides of this place. I am very happy with the service I have received from both sides.

I highly recommend Mainspring Wellness if you are in need of therapy. They are caring and compassionate and have helped so many people.
