Dawn Nowak was caring and compassionate helped me when I needed treatment she was easy to talk to didn't judge my situation and made me feel better about myself. I highly recommend her she is from crisis mobile unit. She really cares client centered.

Counselors are really lovely people, without them, the process would be different. I appreciate the work they are doing with me. Center just need a little more of organization!

My experience was a very good one. The staff was always friendly and courteous. Rev James and Marina helped me through all the way. They were also super supportive during my journey into recovery.

Finally a doctor that takes time and listens! Front desk people are great as well as the nurses!

I have been coming here for years and honestly love the place. My therapist has helped me grow in ways I didn't think possible. Reviews show a negative outlook on the receptionists, but every experience I have had with them was warm, welcoming, and full of patience and laughter. They handle themselves very well and are incredibly patient with guests. The only negative i can come up with is their current rotating psychiatry department, but thats due to a shortage of people in the profession!

This is an awesome mental health addiction treatment center that will help you get your life back on track they also have a health center here with wonderful doctors nurses and nurse practitioners that will help you with your health Great place to go to

Before i call out the people that need to be fired or even just held accountable for their behavior, id like too call out the people that actually helped and did their best to make things shine when they knew stuff was messed up. And that would be Kate from maple wood. She not only did an amazing job handling hard situations but had very much sympathy for my situation. Now, who in which did not help was Ray from maple wood. Her intentions with me were not only weird but obsessive. I was the kid she favored and let me onto her phone and even taken me to her apartment once or twice. She made unwilling promises like how i would live with her after I discharged. After my time here a year or so, I’ve still had contact with her and I found out I was pregnant.. she had told me that I should give my baby too her. Knowing that I would sympathize because of her telling me in past that she was trying for a baby and trying to surrogate herself. She would also tell me about her sex life and current partners.. she would also be on tinder while at work and sometimes ask my opinion on a person. I went into this facility brainwashed that it was a safe place when really ray was creating more damage to my mental health issues. I don’t suggest bringing your kids here until ray has been handled. I mean look… she literally has 3 bad reviews about her and she is STILL working there as the main staff. I’m sure she’s gonna look at this review and laugh because she knows she got away with what she’s done, not the first time either (she’s read one of her bad reviews out loud to us and laughed claimed the child was the problem)

Please reconsider before taking your children here. I took my daughter here when she was struggling with mental health. This place did more damage than good. They lied on her discharge paperwork when we left to go to a place that actually helped her.

Most of the staff were TERRIBLE. Ray would let one of peers go on her phone had no boundaries with this peer and would let her get away with everything. Once this peer left Ray had my peers phone number which is illegal and told us not to tell anyone,so none of of did. I got the cops called on me for unnecessary reasons. The staff member siu would also get into unnecessary arguments with me all the time.There is so much bad things I could tell you about this place but that would be too many words. Everyone who went there would always try to convince their family's to discharge them but gave up within the first week. This place would make us more sneaky and created much more trama for everyone there.

I went there the 1st year it opened in 2001 & was the 1st to graduate out of the program. It was a great experience overall. I hope those I went there with when it first opened are all well! Lucinda Kunnaan

it changed me for the better and i was only there for 3 months although since i left it felt like my progress has slipped out of my hands now that i’m home, whatever you do don’t run away it’s not worth it.

I dont know this place well enough but the one experience I had was great.

I was in the ICU unit back in the early 80s and all the staff in some way helped me become a great man and an even better father . Remember even when it sucks… and I truly know it will, they did not put you in there . Stay strong and work the programs. Stay strong kids

On more of the lecture is the peace and the success of the whole and there is a way to be there to see the success of the others and a way to win altogether.

Tara Stockhausen is an INCREDIBLY gentle yet effective dental hygienist!! Highly recommend seeing her on a regular basis. She is both attentive to the condition of your teeth and gums and compassionate. So glad we have her professional services available here in the Copper River Basin.

I was here on holiday and came here to get treatment for a UTI. The service was incredible. They found me an appointment (I called ahead of time and the nurse saw me that afternoon), and the pharmacy is in the same building so I was able to get medicine I needed. Thank you so much for your incredible kindness and help!

I have had nothing but great care from this place. My nurse, Krystina (spelling) is upbeat, ultra helpful , and super nice. I am so glad to have VA care over traditional medical options

Good service Good health care, no problems. My preference before traveling to Anchorage VA.

I have had ups and downs here. I agree with other reviews that Engleman is NOT the one you want to see here. Everyone else seems to be competent though, all in all better than driving to Anchorage.
