Beth, LPN at Broadlawns is amazing! I am not sure if she works only for Dr Nuehart (sp?) only but I called her in a frantic about a program that assists with my Mom. Not only was she pretty much done with her shift and still helping me.... she was concerned about MY health and taking care of myself during this process of taking care of my Mom.... and I have never even been a patient there! The staff at Urban Dreams were always professionals, respectful, and supportive, which made the process much easier to go through.
Our Instructor, Kristen Steele, went above and beyond in every class. She was not only knowledgeable but also approachable, making sure that everyone felt comfortable and understood the material. Kristen shared a lot of valuable information that wasn't just about completing a requirement, but about really learning how alcohol can impact our lives and how to make better choices moving forward.
I also had a substance abuse evaluation with Felicia Chumley, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She is one of the kindest, most attentive people I've met in this process. Felicia made feel completely comfortable from the start, which really helped me open up and be honest about my situation. Felicia made what could have been a stressful experience into something positive and encouraging.
I would definitely recommend Urban Dreams to anyone who needs this classes or simply wants to gain more understanding about alcohol and its effects.

I have been here multiple times with all of my children of various ages and never had a problem, they're always helpful, up front, and courteous. I've called and been late because of traffic and they've worked with me, I had an emergency that I needed dental for my son and they were able to squeeze us in, they were up front and honest about trying but not guaranteeing anything because he was three and left all the decisions to me. We actually only found them because they were the only dentist office that would even be willing to help me the day after a holiday when my son had been an immense pain all weekend, and they were so wonderful to work with that we changed them to be our main one.

YSS saved my life, then gave me purpose in life. I was a very troubled kid, a burden on society, and my parents were at their wit's end. They were desperate when they turned to YSS. And while I fought it at first (couldn't stand authority), I eventually surrendered to the program/the process and my life turned 180 degrees.
