Our family is incredibly grateful for the excellent care our child received at Stormont Vail Behavioral Health. From the very beginning, the staff showed compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping our child heal.
What stood out most was what our child shared with us after their stay. They spoke so highly of two staff members, Mudeetha and Donnie, saying how both of them made a real difference.Our child told us how motivated they felt because of the support and encouragement they received from both Mudeetha and Donnie throughout her stay. It meant the world to hear our child talk about feeling seen, heard, and cared for during a very vulnerable time.
We can't thank Stormont Vail Behavioral Health enough for the positive impact they had on our child.

I've had 2 different stays here within the past 2 months and I was freaked out my first stay being a in a new environment and everything but due to the help and everything I received it made that first stay very comfortable and then I knew going back a 2nd time wouldn't be too hard for me and I really was happy with how some of the nurses and therapy folk remembered me from the first stay and how nice it was when they kept asking me how I was doing everyday while I was there the 2nd go around and especially after having some other medical issues that kept me feeling crappy and the staff was more then accommodating to help me out the remainder of my days there and just got home a couple days ago from being there and im still having some issues and stuff mentally but I know if I need to go back I won't be too freaked out about it and know I will receive the best care that they can give me, so thank you for helping me when I've been there...

Roy was horrific and disrespectful. I didn’t go back to stonestreet for years. Now that I am seeing Alicia Sader she has already helped me tremendously. She treated me with nothing but respect and actually listened to my diagnoses and concerns. She didn’t just rush me out and is very observant during her visits as well. As I got older, more issues began to surface, and I returned to her each time because her no nonsense, straightforward demeanor helped guide me towards workable solutions, and provided the tools I would need to recognize unhealthy relationships and situations, empowering me to be the best person I can be, to appreciate the blessings in my life, to value my children, my family, and myself. It’s crazy to think I was here 16 years ago. I still remember the abuse, and being beat up by staff on 3 different occasions. It was only when I had bruises on my body from being kicked on the ground and bruises around my neck from being choked that they finally “did something” I guess getting kicked and choked was their form of “restraint” I was only removed and put into a different facility. The staff members still had their jobs. Getting payed to abuse kids that were already abused at home, school, or on the streets. I’m appalled by these 5 star reviews because I’m sure the abuse hasn’t changed. Missouri foster care IS NO PLACE FOR A CHILD. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!

Haven’t had such a good time at a doctor’s visit in a long time. Dr. Alumno was professional, helpful, and fun. The nurse who led me into the appointment, wish I remembered her name, was punctual, kind, and welcoming. The one who helped me with lab testing, Kayla, was efficient, and humorous. Love this place.

This website is worth the money. There are 8 units to work through with students. The first unit I did with students was World Empathy. I first had the students take the Self-Assessment. This assessment is a way to judge what the students know about world empathy. In each unit you will find a lesson plan, a prequiz existing knowledge, whiteboard animation (which is fantastic,) a music video (which is captivating for young people.) After watching the video and completing the lesson my students and I had a discussion using the questions in the unit. Finally, there is an exit ticket that wraps up the entire unit.

I see Dr. Karim. I have for a few years now, and I really like him. I do not feel rushed when I see him, and I feel that when I have concerns or questions, that he takes the time to answer them fully.
The issues I have are more in regard to attempting to contact the practice by telephone. It can be tough especially during early morning or other peak phone times.
While their website has good information on it, I wish they would incorporate some sort of portal, to handle the more routine non-emergency requests between the patient and provider.
