My time at MSDATC was exceptional. The absolute best for someone in need of a life changing experience through recovery. All the way from the staff, therapist, techs, peer support, nurses, group facilitators, the Community, and of course the wonderful cooks!😉 I can't say enough wonderful things about these people, the facility itself, and their intended plan of action for the individual. Im astounded by my growth. I went from homeless to happy. I highly recommend this facility if you want change. This team changed my life. Stina was one of the most phenomenal therapiat and human beings I've ever met. She created safety for me to do the work. Brooke is an astounding cook and gets the job done. Allysa the case manager took me where I needed to go. Tray and Blake got me to my outside meetings. Nurse Faith and Megan made me feel welcomed and loved. Damn this place is good. It do what it do.

My son was in psychosis and transported here 10 days ago. He was a mess! We picked him up today and he was smiling and happy and ready to do the work to stay mentally healthy! We are beyond grateful for the staff! He has been in another facility before and he came home robotic (wrong meds!) Hopefully now he will stay well and take his meds. We got our son back! We haven't seen this happy guy in years!

I’ve stayed here twice. It really is a good place to be when your in distress. Nowhere is perfect but they helped me. If I ever need to be hospitalized again I’d go here. I’d recommend it to my family and friends if they needed help. The last time I was there I was in icu psychosis from being on a ventilator for a week. At first I was hallucinating so bad I thought I was a hostage. They were really patient with me when I didn’t even know where I was and kept trying to leave. With the right medications and some time I got back to normal. The food is good. The staff has to deal with all kinds of people and they do a good job. I give it 4 stars because like I said nowhere’s perfect. No psyc hospital anyway.

I was transferred from hell called MS State hospital to here in October of 2009. My stay lasted until June of 2010. I walked I and thought this place was going to be like the rest. I was wrong. This place saved my life. The third shift were loud and obnoxious and a few of the first and second shift staff were, in my opnion, not meant to be there. The therapist, phychiatrist, "the board", and everything else was different. Most of the people there would go out of there way to help you. The one on one time, walking around outside talking to a trusted staff member, the nurses were amazing and patient, especially Nurse Scott. They helped me obtain my GED. If this place is still the same as is was when I was there, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. I wish they had an adult facility because I need the care this place gave me as a teenager. Plus the food was decent too. They made the place feel somewhat like a home than just a facility, which made treatment easier.

I had been on this exact same program years ago and actually moved out of state is the reason I had stopped before but I just recently came back to the same place and everyone welcomed me with open arms with resources that is offered there for you and they offer counseling as well as other resources to help you stay on a positive recovering path. I think me going back here was the best decision I've ever made in my entire life. I'm so grateful for Mobile Metro Treatment Center.

I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.

I’m sure I’m not the first person to retire and end up in rehab. The Estate saved my life. I finally came to terms with my drinking and my dependency on alcohol through addressing health issues the staff at the Estate were instrumental with helping me sort out and plot my way forward. I continue to have contact with Amy and some of my fellows and have returned several times and it’s a good thing to be 30 months sober and I attribute in part to the experience of the estate. I respect what this building stands for. I question some of the information I receive from here. As a homeless veteran since 2022 and then again in 2024 to currently, getting assistance after calling the national hotline has been strained. When talking with Ms. Victoria during both instances and again as recently as Friday, I question practices to serve the homeless there. In September of 2023 I was referred to Hudvash and SSVF (Hattiesburg) for assistance through the VA medical center. I was told I could use either or. I chose SSVF since I was a victim of identity theft and did not have steady income to maintain the requirements for Hudvash. After 1 year I was evicted. No explanation, no meetings with the agency to assist with employment or check on progress as discussed in the onboarding of the program. Just an eviction through the Hinds County court stating my husband and I owed a 3500 debt because SSVF did not pay BEH enterprises. My husband and I moved in with his mom and have been trying to reestablish ourselves after the identity theft. When speaking with Ms. Victoria a social worker there I asked her about the time frame for a referral since in 2023, I received the referral one week and got in to do paperwork the next week for a voucher that I received. It was an expedient process. Ms. Victoria told me the referral was made to Hudvash and I just had to wait until I become next on the list. I explained to her about the previous experience in 2023. She told me she was looking in my file and she does see a housing referral opened in Decembr of 2025 and Closed January of 2026. I explained to her that I initially used the service in 2023. I did meet with someone in December 2025 who did not ask for ID or anything at the VA medical center in a conference room where she had me signing off on papers leading me to believe I would be getting assistance soon and nothing happened. It is August. I became tired of trying to speak to someone around that time and began to continue try to handle issues around my identity theft. The point of the matter, I question why is a debt of 3500 dollars showing up owed by my husband and I for BEH Enterprises when SSVF was suppose to be paying the rent and why would Ms. Victoria not have record of my initial referral from 2023?

Alta Pointe has helped my brother tremendously these past four years. The therapist he had the first time he came helped him so much with giving him tools and so many resources. He had recently gotten a new therapist about a few months ago and she is the absolute best. My brother loves going to her and truly enjoys the work they do in their session. My brother always shares with me the resources and advice he gets from each session and the crafts they do haha. Also, the doctor (Dr. Bray) is a real Godsend. My mom and brother loves her so much. I posted a review a couple years ago when e wonderful hI went to alter point for help with serious long time opiate addiction that had my life upside down again and I was on the edge of despair. Hopeless and ready to end my life . Well alter point took me under their care. They were swamped with people way understaffed and way over worked . But they continued and still do helping people like me pick up the pieces and face out shame and all kinds of issues. Well I am 3 years totally clean and still go to alter point every month and still get the love and support these caring people give. Thank you alter point , you all are saving lives and making a difference. Anyone full of criticism should look at lives saved not lives lost. Thanks for my life.

Hi April can you please pass this along we the people of Altapointe watch other workers come and go they leave for various reasons some of the main reasons that we hear from them is its not enough pay and they just can't get with a 37.5 work week. For all of us who continue to stay because we love the company we love what we do. Even when people in the community try to talk bad about the company as well as you see a lot of the bashing on public forums. You have a lot of dedicated employees that take up for the company all we're asking is for a 40-hour work week instead of the outdated 37.5 times are hard for alot of people and for those who may not experience hard times and dont understand how a difference this can make for some God Bless You. We all love Tuerk he is a very Nice man and we all appreciate him.

Ok, so after almost two years with Dr. Sinclair I feel like I can give an honest review of my experience so far. SO, as far as Sinclair goes, there is no one better in my opinion. He is caring, respectful and educated. He is the type of person you walk away from and the rest of your day is a little brighter. However, the office staff? Oh lawd hammercy. It's a hot mess express. No one knows what's going on. Seems like no calls to the nurse line is documented, ever. I needed to be in his refill clinic and the nurse made me an appointment but for two months out and reassured me that I would be able to get refills even though my appointment was two months away. Found out that she made me an appointment with someone else (whom I've never seen) instead of Sinclair AFTER I requested refills through my pharmacy and got a call from the nurse saying that I couldn't because it was time to make an appointment. I told her I was scheduled and she told me it was with someone else so magically, she got me in the very next day with Sinclair for the refill clinic. Phew, that's just my recent experience with the staff. Lol Anyway, I highly recommend Sinclair and I'll follow him anywhere he goes. My quality of life has just overall been better since he has been my doctor. I have switched medications soooooo many times to find the right med combo and he has been there in the trenches with me through it all. 11/10 stars!
