There are cameras, they have been in place for; a year or so maybe-giveORtake; So outside issues have pretty much subsided. Now, the people sitting in their cars while people "hold their spots" IS something a few certain individuals do, but certainly BHG have been and will be addressing those issues as well from their camera footage.!? And last but not least THEIR ARE 4 NURSES NOW 👏 YAAAYY Usually 4windows open! Barely a wait in the last 2 months at least. The staff works hard, things run smoothly and you can tell there are people here who genuinely care about what they’re doing. Huge shoutout to Michelle (aka the real MVP / PD) for keeping things together. It does not go unnoticed. That said…the parking lot is currently giving “extreme sports obstacle course.” The potholes are not subtle. You don’t just park here, you navigate it. If you hear a loud thud on your way in, just know it’s not construction, it’s your suspension filing a complaint. Fix the potholes and this place would be pretty close to perfect. The entire vibe is great and safe, the front desk staff are angels, and both my psychiatrist (Leah Sands) and therapist (Amber Gibson) have been very respectful, intelligent, and very good listeners. I can't wait to continue my healing journey. (9/9/26) I love Bowen Health. My main therapist Amber Gibson continues to help me heal and become the best person I can be. My other psychiatrists and therapists stop at nothing to see that I get the help- we all deserve to have in our time of need. The vibe continues to be great, safe, and the front desk staff continues to be the angels they are. Shortly after my first review I had to call the Bowen Health Crisis service line and was treated with compassion, patience, and love. The man on the phone sat with me for an hour and set up a plan- and a backup plan with me. I felt seen and supported. I have switched to the Genoa pharmacy located in the building and they went above and beyond to help me get my medication sorted out. I'd give them all 10/10 stars and a raise if I could. I've been going here for the last four years now. First of all my fiancée is a veteran and has been seeking help through the VA for a physiological induced/ medically induced MH issue. He was in the ER and urgent care several times, telling his MH provider he needed help something was wrong, being told that it was all in his head. The day my fiancée was admitted to the Northeastern center I honestly didn’t know if he would live, he couldn’t eat, sleep or function and within hours after admission one dose of medication under his tongue and he was much better. It took two days of inpatient and he is home. I am very grateful to the doctor who knew enough to treat him with the right medication. The VA would never have figured it out. As far as all the bad reviews I had no negative experiences nor did my fiancée. They did give me a code and it worked easily and yes that is to protect the patience privacy and it is HIPAA. I had never been as depressed as I was in those few months and I have delt with depression almost my entire life. I really didn’t believe I could be helped, but I tried for my children’s sake as my oldest son had already lost his father to reckless decisions. Brandy saved my life, she has continuously encouraged me and never judged me even when most would have. She has not only been one of the best phycologists I have ever met, she has also been a good friend. She has helped to guide me in the right direction and been there through every up and every down I’ve had over this past 7 years, despite my many screw ups she has never made me feel as though I was just a mess, she really saved my life, I can not stress this enough. If you do the work on yourself and actually use the program and take the advice given, this place can and will help. So you don’t have to worry about having someone drop off clothes. The nurses and tech are super helpful and friendly. Their food is better than most hospital foods. They offer helpful groups which was one thing I liked. Because other facilities the groups are not reliable. These groups are almost DBT related.
