The weekly family group, held online so family can join from wherever, is something I wasn't expecting. My family had been through a lot and being able to include them in the process, even from a distance, changed how I felt about what I was doing here. Recovery doesn't happen in a bubble and a program that actually acknowledges that is worth noting.

As a professional in the behavioral health space for 14 years I am very impressed by Rolling Hills’ operation. The facility itself is beautiful and clean with the clinicians offices and group rooms spacious. The staff really show up for the patients with a desire to help that you can feel. RCA has given me a chance of a new life! Not my old life! They prepare you to go into the world when you leave with tools on how to live sober and clean! It can be done and there is hope if you have faith and an open mind and willingness to change. Listen to all the suggestions, and put down your ego! Recovery is not one and done! Through my recovery journey I have been to a number of treatment programs and facilities both php/iop-residential and have done well at most of them, but Footprints stands out as one of my favorites, by far, and the one I have made the most growth and progress at. I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. If this is your first time coming to treatment, Footprints gets an A++ from me. Its always tough to take that first step, but they do an amazing job of walking with you the rest of the way. I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle. I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect. God Bless all those who take care of us veterans at both hospitals.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I started out here on methadone, then left and came back on suboxine and now go there for the brixadi shot. All of the staff are so nice, easy to talk to and supportive. My counselor Jackie is the by far the best councelor I’ve ever sat down with in all my years in and out of addiction. She truly cares, and will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. All the nurses are so great and easy to talk to. I highly recommend somerdale treatment center to anyone battling addiction and trying to work their way toward recovery.

Id love to give these guys a 5 but recently I was dropped due to insurance. ( I have medicaid. Which makes me less fortunate then others who pay for there insurance) so after about a year and a half. Outside of that the groups are excellent the facilitators truely care, and the people who are the ones that really make the groups they are great. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.

Im gonna be flatout honest i came here ungrateful and with a rotten attitude the groups were amazing and i learned a lot from them… people there are kind some of them are a little harder but i look at it as tough love… the only reason im giving them 4 stars was they had no dryer for a month but other than that my complaints are non-existent

Quick service for an ER. I was pleasantly surprised. My stay was about four hours from beginning to end and I was takien kvery good care of. They did track down what I had and how to treat it. I was given intravenous. I was given a room in the ER department and I left feeling very satisfied and much better than when I went in.

Five star care from beginning to end. My PACU RN, Lindsey P, was phenomenal! She explained everything thoroughly and provided excellent care. Also, Lyndsey my pre-op nurse was terrific as well. My husband had a vascular procedure and he and I were so impressed with the expert care he received from Dr. Litsky and his wonderful team: Sean and Angela. They each were competent and caring. Angela, especially, was uplifting as she took care of his every need in recovery. We were then escorted to our car by Marcus who had such a pleasant manner. We will return for another procedure soon and are confident that he will be in caring hands once again.

This is by far the best place I've ever been to. They actually care about you and your recovery. Touching base and keeping you healthy physically and mentally. Not only do the staff care about you they always have smiles on their faces and make you laugh and feel welcome. I completed this program after my 12 weeks and still show up when i can to do the recovery based workout and yoga/meditation. That is one of the many perks of this program. When you complete your part of the soarfit family for life as long as you keep doing what your supposed to do. Highly recommend!!!

Guardian Recovery New Pathways in Pine Brook is a great IOP program. It is very unique in that instead of a 3 hrs group which would bore me to tears it is broken up int0 1 hrs of crossfire type exercise, 1 hrs of meditation and yoga, and 1 hrs of group with 1 day of a one on one session with a councilor. I had a very good experience at Absolute Awakenings, I came in from detox for alcoholism and completed the PHP program at Absolute Awakenings. The staff was attentive, professional and encouraging. Nicole who was my clinician was great, she really helped me in our one on one sessions and in my relapse prevention plan. I can’t say enough about the professional staff, Matt, Amy, Dina,Courtney, Kayla, Brian, Jamie and Nicole, Thank you for the foundation to begin my recovery journey and the courage to admit I’m an alcoholic and not care what people think. Amazing care while we waited to be transferred over to MSKCC main campus. We first went through ER and had the most amazing nurse take care of us, I wish I remembered his name. We then went over to the cancer wing of the hospital, which was beyond beautiful and the nurses there were beyond caring. Cauterization was done on liver in this hospital, procedure went well. Only thing was a doctor told that a stent was not possible for a blockage in the pylorus, which was not true, MSKCC doctor did tell us the opposite though. Either way, best patient care in the world. Thank you Riverview Medical Center nurses and doctors, for everything.

As a physician myself, this was surprisingly my first interaction/experience with Riverview Medical center. Our visit involved primarily dealing with the Same Day Surgery staff and everyone we encountered was top notch from visitor intake at parking to front desk staff in the Same day waiting area. Nurse Jackie was excellent in explaining everything she was about to do before she did which placed my mother at ease. Dr. Haggerty and the Anesthesiologist (apologies in forgetting the gentleman's name) arrived with smiles on their faces and were willing to answer any questions to further ease any anxiety my mother may have had about the day. During the process, I received text messages updating me on the day with my mother's progress. I waited in the coffee shop area and looked out at the river which was relaxing while waiting for the surgery to finish. Post op, my mother's care was managed by Nurse Rose who was just as bright with a smile on her face and very patient in helping my mother recover. She did not rush the discharge and made sure my mother was comfortable in feeling she could go home. Highly recommend the same day surgery team in this hospital!

The campus is gorgeous and has to much to offer breathwork, music and art therapy, yoga, ariel yoga, sound baths even a cold plunge. I completed residential treatment at Enlightened recovery and stayed connected through their aftercare program, and I genuinely believe it saved my life. From the day I arrived, the clinical team treated me like a person, not a case. The therapists were skilled, compassionate, and used approaches that actually matched what I needed. The residential house was beautiful the program was structured but never rigid—there was real space for individual work, group process, and learning how to live differently. The staff created a safe, respectful environment where it felt possible to be honest. What sets this place apart for me is the aftercare. A lot of programs do a good job while you’re there and then leave you on your own. Here, the transition was thoughtful and continuous. They helped me build a realistic plan, connected me with ongoing support, and stayed available. The alumni/aftercare community has been one of the most valuable parts of my recovery—consistent check-ins, practical guidance, and people who actually understand the long game. I’m not going to pretend recovery is easy or that any facility is perfect. But the combination of solid residential treatment and genuine, ongoing aftercare made a measurable difference in my ability to stay well. I’m grateful I chose a place that didn’t just get me through the crisis but helped me build a foundation for the years after. Highly recommend if you’re looking for more than a short-term fix.

I just spent 7 days at this hospital . I’ve been there before bc I had my original surgery on my intestines there 15 ya . This time I came back to having emergency surgery for a blockage. The original admitting staff was so quick with getting my surgeon to me. By the time he got there he was up to date on my scans etc rushed me into surgery saying they would explore first then try to fix any issue . My recovery was in a beautiful wing had my own room . The nurses were amazing specifically Morgan , Danielle . Victoria and Raasha . All of the primary care techs were also great. I wish I could say it was a good experience but beigg ng sick never is but for a bad one it was good. Dr Flanagan under my original surgeon Dr Rolandelli were also great .

at SOBA, the staff is cool and the food is HOT! 🔥 in all seriousness, detox and post acute withdrawal from alcohol is no joke no matter where you are, but the staff at soba takes the challenge on and does a great job. i felt safe and cared for from the moment i arrived, and through the group facilitators and empathy from other patients, learned a lot about myself and my relationship with addiction. i was able to “graduate” the program within ten days and move on to get more support at another, less restrictive program in the area. i am so grateful! thank you to all the staff and patient community for my literal life!

I really enjoyed all the services provided at The Haven. All the staff was wonderful. I want to highlight the following people from each department because without the staff here I would have not exceled. In Client Care, Melanie and Jack took a vested interest in my recovery journey from start to finish. In nursing, Susan and Sierra were so sweet and were always there when I needed someone to listen and assisted me with anything I needed regarding my medication. Medical staff, Cindy was by far one of the best provider's I have ever met in a treatment setting. She was patient with me, addressed all my concerns and did not push any medication on me which was very much appreciated. Sabriya was an amazing recreational therapist and she found creative ways to bring me out of my shell and was always there when I needed someone to talk to. As far as facilitators, John and Michelle were absolutely top tier. The behavioral techs were amazing at the Haven. Bridget was wise beyond here years and became one of my main sounding boards during second shift. I also want to mention Angie, Tim, Cheena, and Zaahir who were instrumental in my recovery. I want to give a separate shout out to Amethyst who started working for the Haven during my stay. I was able to see her quickly adapt in her new role and how passionate she is to assist others, I can tell she has a drive for this and will most defiantly succeed. Last but certainly not least I want to recognize Rosie. She was the one who completed my intake. From our first interaction she promised my I was safe and she would be with me the whole way. Not only did she keep her promise but any time I panicked or had any concerns she was right there by my side. Even on her days off she checked in on me and let me know she was thinking of me and how I was doing in this brand new community. It's because of the dedication of these people and all the other staff that I was able to not only complete my treatment but also feel prepared and ready to tackle the real world, moving here to Jersey for a new start.

Christian Health brought my dad back to life! After a a terrible two months in the hospital, my dad had weakened his swallow muscles and couldn’t eat or drink. He had a stomach feeding tube when he entered the rehab facility. He wasn’t walking independently but Amanda Burkart, the speech pathologist at Christian health brought so much energy, positivity and consistency in her care that my dad started eating and drinking and passed his swallow test. The nurse and care staff: Jetta, Nancy, Akina and Marwa were all so attentive and caring. I also appreciated Trisha who helped me manage all the follow up appointments for my dad. I can’t say enough positive things about Christian Healths Rehab staff. All the PT and OT staff were amazing too! Thank you for bringing my dad back to life! We are all so grateful!

The staff and program were excellent, creating a supportive and welcoming environment throughout my recovery journey. My name is Steve and I am an addict. Those are the hardest words I think I've ever said in my life, but with Ocean Medical Services I can say that with confidence and complete acceptance. I have been a drug user for 20 years now and I've tried other methods of recovery which simply didn't work for me. I am in their IOP, something I chose to do on my own volition due to needing to be close to home and from the moment I had my intake, I knew I had found "home". From Thea, Dan, Mike, Brian, Cat, Mary as well as a major shout out to the counselors Brayden, Jyllian and Deb (and I know I'm forgetting people), each and every one of them are so empathetic, caring and compassionate. They want to see me (and all clients) succeed. In just the short time that I've been here, I have learned more about myself besides my disease of addiction that I feel like I'm back in grade school absorbing all this information like a sponge. I couldn't brag more about this location so if you're an addict and you're in need of some help, PLEASE call or contact them. You'd me on the ride path of recovery.
