To me if I like this place, it is broad, it allows you to meditate and clarify your mind. I have never had problems with the staff. Everything is fine.
Dr. Isherwood has been the best and these people have bent over backwards for me. I thank God for all of the individuals that are working there and have worked there.

These people are amazing!!!! Receptionist, doctor Isherwood, they have been a God send , I truly couldn't function without their compassion!! I've been a greatful patient of Applegate for approx. 8 years now and I can honestly say that they saved my life. They gave me back a freedom I had forgotten existed . The freedom of sobriety. My experience was really good, I was a bit disoriented and they managed me well without me or any staff getting harmed. The head nurse Ms. Cynthia was really great, I appreciate every staff member there. I definitely recommend Physicians over other hospitals in Louisiana.

I entered CADA March 30, 2017, I was completely out of hope, and full of despair, the only solution I thought I had was suicide. My drinking, and drug use took me to a place of desperation. I could not stay sober, but I could not quit using. I went 20 plus years of suffering. The only coping mechanism I had, for every emotion, was to change the was I felt with drugs, and alcohol. When I was sad, I used, when I was happy, I used. My life revolved around when I would get my next bottle, or find my next high. I lied, cheated, and stole, whatever it took to get my drug of choice. I destroyed my family, and friends. I was like a hurricane in people I loved lives. I saw only darkness.
In CADA, I learned tools, coping mechanisms, of how to deal with life, on life's terms, without alcohol, and drugs. I gained a new sense of self worth. I started to recover from a disease that had already taken so many I loved, including my mother.
CADA took another chance on me 6 months into my recovery. I was hired as part of the support staff. I continued to learn and grow, in the place that saved my life. Three, and half years later, I am now part of the Peer Support Team, giving back, what was given to me.
One of my favorite quotes is, "It is always darkest before the dawn." CADA gave me my dawn.

CADA offers a treatment solution for almost anyone! It is affordable and very comprehensive in its therapy. My favorite programs at CADA are the adolescent treatment facility, which includes a full time teacher, and the Family program. Women who are pregnant, or have children are welcomed in the family hall. Their children attend public school. Infants and toddlers are cared for while the ladies participate in their groups or counseling sessions. CADA has been a LIFESAVER for hundreds of recovering people!
Best place ever I've only been going here about a year and made a lot of progress in half that time and I have some amazing doctors!!! Don't listen to these other reviews

Me and my mom came here every morning at 4-5:30 am she would be close to the front of the line her name was DEL LANGHELD SHE started around year 2000 or 2001 until she passed away in 2015 this clinic was amazing to he if sick they would dose at car if she couldn't come in or something we were there for a long time i hope they continue to do great work even though i live in Denver now and go to Denver methadone clinic my self i still miss coming there every morning

I had previously went for the suboxone treatment a long time ago in the past. Sadly it's wasn't a choice I made for myself.
Now that I'm currently taking the treatment again and this time because I personally hit my rock bottom, I go to my therapy sessions anytime I can and listen as well as talk and those sessions have greatly helped me deal with my problems I have that pertains to my addiction. The Dr. Is always been kind and respectful and helpful towards me.
I can say that every person that works there has a heart of gold because they don't have to care about any of us, yet they choose to. That shows amd tells me it's more that just a job to them it's actually a calling to be there for us. I have to update my review just to say I can honestly say I feel better about life, myself, belief in myself and many other stones that gor in my way for so many years . The staff here in eldorado wants you to succeed and believes in you than I did myself in the beginning I'm sure others k ow where I'm coming from. I know there is still work to be done and always will be work that needs to be done.

I arrived at the mission on November 30, 2018 broken and lost, an addict with no sense of direction and 17 years of self medicating. I joined the one year program then graduated to the internship program for another year. Once I completed my internship I became a staff member which lead to another four years. What the mission gave I could never repay. I found christ and letting him into my life as been the best and most rewarding experience. I now have a relationship with christ and first put God first in every decision I make. Now God is restoring family back into my life, Thanks to all the donor that makes it possible to help people in need. I will always be so grateful for what the mission has done for me . The mission has gave me HOPE again Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you , says the Lord . They are plans for good and not disaster , to give you a future and a hope... The mission will always hold dear to my heart . The best! Compassionate, professional, and experienced. I have been receiving mental health and substance abuse services since 2015 from at least 7 different places in the area. I have been here at SBH since 2020 and this is by far the best. They helped me recover from 6 months of debilitating depression where I couldn't even get out of bed. I thought I was broken and in some ways I was. I had eyes but couldn't see. A heart but couldn't feel. A brain but couldn't think properly. Dr. Bosmia and the staff cared enough to try new things when I wasn't getting better. If you are reading this and you or someone you love needs help please don't give up. Pick up the phone. Make the call. Get help because it's available and there are those willing to help, I promise. I'm proof.
Palmetto’s counselors are great, the community is the best part as well. I really think this place can help those who really are trying to seek out a sober life.
CADA Adolescent provides services to help teens struggling with drugs and alcohol addiction. They still are able to keep up with school work as CADA has a school teacher on staff. The counselors and techs care and they love helping Adolescent get their lives back on track.

Caring staff + good program for teens in recovery!
I wanted to express my gratitude to SARH for the care my mom received while there. I will probably forget a few people but wanted to thank Angel and her team on the 3rd floor for the exceptional care. Mom was later transferred to rehab on the 2nd floor where she also had exceptional care. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to some of her care team, Ms Kim and Mr Gene - YOU TWO were angels and honestly made each day the best! Mom still talks about you both.
Thank you to OT and PT for also taking such good care of mom. Everyone was very compassionate and for that I’m grateful.
Last but definitely not least I want to thank Dr Smart for his compassion and care he gave mom while in his care, you are the best and appreciated.
