Tim Carroll 2 years ago I entered CADA March 30, 2017, I was completely out of hope, and full of despair, the only solution I thought I had was suicide. My drinking, and drug use took me to a place of desperation. I could not stay sober, but I could not quit using. I went 20 plus years of suffering. The only coping mechanism I had, for every emotion, was to change the was I felt with drugs, and alcohol. When I was sad, I used, when I was happy, I used. My life revolved around when I would get my next bottle, or find my next high. I lied, cheated, and stole, whatever it took to get my drug of choice. I destroyed my family, and friends. I was like a hurricane in people I loved lives. I saw only darkness. In CADA, I learned tools, coping mechanisms, of how to deal with life, on life's terms, without alcohol, and drugs. I gained a new sense of self worth. I started to recover from a disease that had already taken so many I loved, including my mother. CADA took another chance on me 6 months into my recovery. I was hired as part of the support staff. I continued to learn and grow, in the place that saved my life. Three, and half years later, I am now part of the Peer Support Team, giving back, what was given to me. One of my favorite quotes is, "It is always darkest before the dawn." CADA gave me my dawn. My favorite programs at CADA are the adolescent treatment facility, which includes a full time teacher, and the Family program. Women who are pregnant, or have children are welcomed in the family hall. Their children attend public school. Now that I'm currently taking the treatment again and this time because I personally hit my rock bottom, I go to my therapy sessions anytime I can and listen as well as talk and those sessions have greatly helped me deal with my problems I have that pertains to my addiction. The Dr. Is always been kind and respectful and helpful towards me. I can say that every person that works there has a heart of gold because they don't have to care about any of us, yet they choose to. That shows amd tells me it's more that just a job to them it's actually a calling to be there for us. I have to update my review just to say I can honestly say I feel better about life, myself, belief in myself and many other stones that gor in my way for so many years . The staff here in eldorado wants you to succeed and believes in you than I did myself in the beginning I'm sure others k ow where I'm coming from. Brenda and I were bunk mates, along with 2 other wonderful women that were down on their luck and wanting to get closer to God, pleading for help and guidance in quiet desperation. Working together, sharing the same dream, and both natives of Louisiana, Brenda and I made a calculated dash for the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission, just 40 minutes across the Texas/Louisiana Border. There we found, food, shelter, music, spiritual enlightenment and most of all LOVE, until evil, discrimination and injustice once again infiltrated the very walls meant to protect us. ** staff on 3 Tower** Mariah — Mariah is simply the best. I told her I wasn’t feeling well, and without me even having to ask, she advocated for me and got me bed rest from the doctor. She was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cared about how I was doing. She made me feel seen and taken care of when I really needed it. I’m incredibly grateful for her. Twaill — Twaill was there for me through some really hard and dark moments. She has such a great sense of humor and knew exactly when I needed someone to make me laugh or bring a little light into a difficult situation. She was able to balance humor with genuine compassion and support, and that made such a difference for me. She helped make some incredibly difficult days feel a little lighter, and I’ll always appreciate her for that. Nicole — Nicole was absolutely hilarious and made me feel safe and comfortable. She didn’t treat us like we were just “mental health patients”—she treated us like actual people. She would participate in games with us, joke around with us, and genuinely engage with us instead of simply standing on the sidelines. She brought a sense of normalcy and humanity to an environment where it can be really easy to feel like you’ve lost your identity. I felt safe around her, and that meant more to me than she probably realizes. She was professional while still being real and approachable, and I’m so grateful for that. Ashley — Ashley went above and beyond, even after I was discharged. She contacted my new psychiatrist at my outpatient clinic on a Sunday so that I could speak with the doctor first thing Monday morning. That level of dedication and follow-through is something I will never forget. She continued to advocate for me even after I was no longer a patient at Brentwood, and that speaks volumes about the kind of person and professional she is. I’m so grateful for these four women and the role each of them played during a very difficult chapter of my life. They each supported me in completely different ways, and I will never forget the kindness, compassion, humor, and genuine humanity they showed me. Brentwood is lucky to have them. ❤️

I had an amazing experience. Check in was easy, the lady at the desk was extremely nice and got me admitted very quickly I wasn’t able to catch her name. Nurse Robert was spectacular!! I don’t like hospitals but he made my visit very quick and pleasant. I dont remember my doctors name but he was hilarious and definitely helped lighten then mood!!! I highly recommend coming here the staff is knowledged and efficient you can tell they care about their patients.

My stay at Physicians was nothing short of amazing. I received adequate care and understanding. Mrs. V SHOWED SO MUCH COMPASSION AND UNDERSTANDING. She went above and beyond to meet all my needs. If she didn't know it rest assure she pushed forward to find the answer. In a mental health facility sometimes care is not adequately provided, but I did not have that issue. Every facility has pros and cons and rest assure there's more pros at Physicians than cons. I l ike the fact that some employees has had similar issues and understand. Mrs. V pushed me to have a better understanding and was very encouraging. I recommend Physicians Behavioral to anyone battling mental health/addiction.

I entered CADA March 30, 2017, I was completely out of hope, and full of despair, the only solution I thought I had was suicide. My drinking, and drug use took me to a place of desperation. I could not stay sober, but I could not quit using. I went 20 plus years of suffering. The only coping mechanism I had, for every emotion, was to change the was I felt with drugs, and alcohol. When I was sad, I used, when I was happy, I used. My life revolved around when I would get my next bottle, or find my next high. I lied, cheated, and stole, whatever it took to get my drug of choice. I destroyed my family, and friends. I was like a hurricane in people I loved lives. I saw only darkness. In CADA, I learned tools, coping mechanisms, of how to deal with life, on life's terms, without alcohol, and drugs. I gained a new sense of self worth. I started to recover from a disease that had already taken so many I loved, including my mother. CADA took another chance on me 6 months into my recovery. I was hired as part of the support staff. I continued to learn and grow, in the place that saved my life. Three, and half years later, I am now part of the Peer Support Team, giving back, what was given to me. One of my favorite quotes is, "It is always darkest before the dawn." CADA gave me my dawn.

CADA offers a treatment solution for almost anyone! It is affordable and very comprehensive in its therapy. My favorite programs at CADA are the adolescent treatment facility, which includes a full time teacher, and the Family program. Women who are pregnant, or have children are welcomed in the family hall. Their children attend public school. Infants and toddlers are cared for while the ladies participate in their groups or counseling sessions. CADA has been a LIFESAVER for hundreds of recovering people!

Its a good place to go if your wanting help sometimes certain people make it hard but the other ones want to help and see u doing good when u go you can tell the difference from the fake people and real people that want to see u better yourself and they have some really good counselors but it just almost seems like there is a lot of chaos but it's almost like they don't have communication with each other but I wouldn't trade it for nothing I love going there they've helped me so much and the counselors the one in Houston also I went to I've been clean for 8 years now and I wouldn't have been able to do it without this place and my husband my husband gets more credit though cuz he's the one that wanted us to go there to get it the help so we been doing really good....

I had previously went for the suboxone treatment a long time ago in the past. Sadly it's wasn't a choice I made for myself. Now that I'm currently taking the treatment again and this time because I personally hit my rock bottom, I go to my therapy sessions anytime I can and listen as well as talk and those sessions have greatly helped me deal with my problems I have that pertains to my addiction. The Dr. Is always been kind and respectful and helpful towards me. I can say that every person that works there has a heart of gold because they don't have to care about any of us, yet they choose to. That shows amd tells me it's more that just a job to them it's actually a calling to be there for us. I have to update my review just to say I can honestly say I feel better about life, myself, belief in myself and many other stones that gor in my way for so many years . The staff here in eldorado wants you to succeed and believes in you than I did myself in the beginning I'm sure others k ow where I'm coming from. I know there is still work to be done and always will be work that needs to be done. THANK YOU ALL JESSE C. P.S. YALL HAVE SAVED MY LIFE IN MORE WAYS THAT COULD EVER BE EXPLAINED.

My Native American friend, Brenda, and I rushed together from the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission on Marshall Avenue in Longview, TX where we endured extreme prejudice, and even physical abuse at the hands of one of the directors, specifically Rhonda. Brenda and I were bunk mates, along with 2 other wonderful women that were down on their luck and wanting to get closer to God, pleading for help and guidance in quiet desperation. Working together, sharing the same dream, and both natives of Louisiana, Brenda and I made a calculated dash for the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission, just 40 minutes across the Texas/Louisiana Border. There we found, food, shelter, music, spiritual enlightenment and most of all LOVE, until evil, discrimination and injustice once again infiltrated the very walls meant to protect us. Divided we fall, together we stand. This is not the end of the world, but is the end of my post. Thanks for listening/reading.

The best! Compassionate, professional, and experienced. I have been receiving mental health and substance abuse services since 2015 from at least 7 different places in the area. I have been here at SBH since 2020 and this is by far the best. They helped me recover from 6 months of debilitating depression where I couldn't even get out of bed. I thought I was broken and in some ways I was. I had eyes but couldn't see. A heart but couldn't feel. A brain but couldn't think properly. Dr. Bosmia and the staff cared enough to try new things when I wasn't getting better. If you are reading this and you or someone you love needs help please don't give up. Pick up the phone. Make the call. Get help because it's available and there are those willing to help, I promise. I'm proof.
