I had a great experience here during the start to my recovery. All of the staff are very outgoing and check in on you frequently. They know when you’re having a bad day and go out of their way to check in and talk to you to make sure you make at least a slight turn around with your mood. They have out door activities such as basketball, pickle ball and even cornhole for the people that like that. The groups that they hold give some very good information to maintain sobriety. I’m 30 days sober and thank all of the staff for helping me through this!!

My review is not so much on RCA but for the person that helped save my husbands life! Tammy M was his therapist there the few times that he had to unfortunately make his way back. She knows what she is doing! She not only did the very best job for him but also kept in constant contact with me which is important. As a loved one it kills you inside to know they are there struggling and you don't have a clue how they are doing. Without Tammy I would have been lost but so would he! She truly is the backbone of RCA! She leads with her heart and that is something you don't always see in this world of recovery.

They are the best substance abuse help i have ever had, and I have had my share. They always take care of me. They listen to me and its not just a cookie cut type of style where one style fits all its what fits me. I love it and I will always come here even when I'm done with my meds. Maybel always makes me laugh and it messes with my blood pressure all the time (that's my excuse). Dona always has on fresh kicks and I'm jealous. Stephanie will always make sure I'm good, making sure I take care of my self. She really cares which is rare in my experience. Fatima digs and makes me deal when I don't want when I know I need to. The team makes it work. That's why I would recommend this place again and again. I feel comfortable and really think its going to work out this time due to them all.

I was referred here from a previous facility due to a change in coverage I had. I had no idea where in Maryland I was going but that didn’t matter, they came to me and others states away, provided transportation or would have paid for an uber. Huge relief. I came to an almost large mansion like building that had chefs on staff, access to doctors and nurses 24/7, a bed and hot shower. Exactly what I needed for where I was in life, if I had those I was doing better than I was. When it comes to curriculum and facilities, they have the best organized classes and group structure I and others who told me form experience they have seen. We have a lot of fun, a lot of freedom in choice of what I NEED in my recovery. Outings after your reach a certain point in the program. Entertainment at night and weekend. I pray whoever see’s this and has doubts or question should they come or even do they need to, just come. Let them take over and manage your life for a little bit and you will be paid 10 fold in you ROI.

Where to even start, my experience there was amazing. The staff always treated me with the utmost respect, support, and care. The patients were the most supportive people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Everyone there made me feel safe, secure, and cared for. Special shoutout to Darryl, Jessica, Antoine H, (who always had a moment for me, thank you Sir), the detox unit nurses and especially the BHTs who showed me so much support and love. I can’t recommend this facility enough. They hold their staff to a standard and it shows.

My husband suffered PTSD for many years. It was left undiagnosed and mistreated for a long period of time. It took a lot of trials and tribulations for him and the loved ones involved, especially with me being I was the closest one to him and was susceptible to his symptoms. I also started picking up his symptoms, like I was suffering from it as well. Kinda like second-hand smoking. tHe went to a couple of recovery center which did not help him at all. But when he went to the IAFF COE, it was like a switch was turned on. It took a while for the treatment to really take effect or to see any results. But he made it through. I can't begin to express the gratefulness the family has. I wish I would have found a way for him to get there sooner and start his treatment. I was following the center since the beginning. But things happen a reason. When the day came that he was ready to feel alive again, you all helped him find his life again. I am now also finally starting my healing process.

My five star rating is based on my observation and communication while my 93 years old mom (who doesn't remember much of anything) was being treated for UTI and pneumonia. The staff was phenomenal. The staff in the emergency were great, but special thanks goes to the staff on the 4th floor. Dr. Molla, the nurses (Fraoi, Michelle, Elizabeth, Ramata, Lineth), the techs (Tammie and Mireille). Also, thanks to the kind people taking food orders and those that delivered it. And the cleaning ladies were also very polite. I'm sure I forgot a few but thanks to everyone.

My husband had Spinal Surgery by Dr. Mo on June 30 , 2026, Spinal Fusion and Laminectoy L3 to S1. My husband was hesitant to have surgery done as he was expecting a painful recovery . I was glad they gave him around the clock high dose of narcotics and muscle relaxants. Stayed in the hospital for 3 days and pain medication cut down to half a dose upon discharge .Pain medicine was tapered down to off after 25 days . Now 6 weeks after still getting stronger walking with walker and switching to cane sometimes . He is comfortable recuperating . Dr Mo is a very competent surgeon . The hospital is very clean . Nurses were great I was glad the surgery was done as my husband was in severe discomfort which was getting worst and epidural steroids was not holding on one month prior to the surgery . .

Our daughter was in desperate need of help. Her ED had gotten into a dangerous zone. Out patient therapy was just not enough to bridge the gap for us. We began looking for facilities and this one was semi close. Leaving your child can be very difficult and reading reviews I felt somewhat comfortable with this place. Ilida was really easy to work with. When we arrived, she went through all of the initial paperwork with us and made sure we understood everything before signing. While there our daughter was able to gain weight and understand her relationship with her body image and understand how her eating disorder affected that. The staff was great and quickly developed relationships that were therapeutic with my daughter- helping her use her DBT skills when she would get upset. As a mom, it does your heart good to know that when your child is upset, there is someone there to comfort them when you can’t. She went in having withdrawn into herself, no longer enjoying activities she had previously enjoyed, and as previously mentioned, very sick. She discharged a healthy, happy kiddo! Enjoying activities she hadn’t enjoyed in a long time! The only negative comments I have is that the house was in somewhat of a transition of staff upon our arrival. Our daughter was assigned a virtual therapist & virtual dietician. While both of these individuals were great, we would have much preferred in person facilitation. There were some lapses of communication a few times, but again, staff was/is in transition. When it’s brought to their attention, they are quick to rectify this. At the end of the day, the good definitely outweighs the “bad” and if I had to do it all over again, I would send her there without hesitation. Actually at discharge, our daughter was in tears because while she wanted to come home, she was going to miss several of the staff!

Walden has employees who are very dedicated & compassionate where adults in their care are concerned. Thru covid nightmares making a huge hindrance in allowing group meetings for some time, dedicated staff realized the importance of interaction with others who have walked the same nightmare. National shortage of trained help I am sure impacts their jobs, but I sincerely feel Walden's employees work there for the right reason..often saving a person's life. Their satisfaction at times when in the future seeing one of the 'flock' leading a normal, happy life when they run into them in public tells me they are there to make a viable difference. Thanks to all of Walden's angels in disguise for this!
