Stevens is a great place for youth who need help. The staff work extremely well with the youth, focusing on their individual needs, which I think is highly beneficial. I, as a former youth, enjoyed the events they held—such as Summer Jam, the holiday play, cookouts, and much more. The clinical services they offer are excellent. The structure and routines are consistent and beneficial, and they will do everything they can to make sure that when you leave, you will be a successful individual.

I have been to many detox/rehab facilities in Rhode Island and this is by far the best. The staff is amazing. They are caring and attentive to the patients. Adcare is a wonderful facility. The food is good and consistent. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and almost all of them have also been through the struggles of addiction. I was in a rough place before coming to ADCARE Rhode Island. Things weren’t going as planned in my life and addiction had taken over in my life in a negative way. I felt a little hesitant coming to ADCARE because of the distance from where I lived in NY, but upon Arrival I was greeted by very nice staff members who got me situated and taken care of. First thing in the morning I had a very powerful experience of meeting with the case worker Scott I was assigned. He gave me the rundown of the treatment center, and suggested I make the most of the program. I even felt like I knew him, he was a very kind and caring man. He helped me along the way and set me up with my clinician Meg who was also a huge help during my stay. Upon leaving I was motivated to continue my recovery, stay sober, and make the most of my new life. Thank you ADCARE for being there in my time of need

I’ve been here for 15 plus years and my counselor Paul goes above and beyond for his patients. Most of the staff has been here for years and they’re great. If you follow the rules and keep your head down, mind your buisness you’ll have no issues with this place… some people have complaints but those are usually the people who do whatever they want and tend to forget how lucky we are to have this place. The photos aren’t from this clinic. I don’t know what clinic those are from. It’s a clean place though and constantly updated.

Through the PHP program and therapy, I was able to overcome issues I wouldn't have able to do alone. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Cristina is a superlative therapist who is as intuitive as she is attentive. She offers valuable perspectives to those who may be lacking in some regards due to their own specific, personal struggles. For patients in their 20s, she is offers relatability in spades, which was comforting for a patient who presented as worn down, isolationist husk of a human being. I was fortunate to finish the PHP program and to be quickly referred to her as my first therapist.

This is the place if you’re really struggling and need some outside help. The rules are pretty simple. However my big Downside is this is a for profit company. For the 80 or so they get from each patient it should be invested into quality case workers. I’m not saying they are all bad but I’ve been here for about 5 or so years, and I’ve just been given my 7th case worker granted only 5 we’re supposed to be permanent. The case worker I just finally got Is the only one you’ve hired that has personal experience.

Went here a few years back. During Covid, wild crowd, the intensity of the whole world to me was making me sick. This was one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. It is almost 5 years later and North Cottage stays with my soul everywhere I go. I love you guys so damn much _yes as others said, intense as in drug testing and checking mens etc. I earned trust and was able to go on runs into the woods almost every morning. This was the place I found God, I had just lost my brother and almost lost myself. I love you guys Thank you. The snow coming down in this trail i would run to each morning is a vision I can't get out of my head. Can't forget it was the men and women who ran this place, mostly men, who made this happen.
