The facility overall was excellent. While there are a lot of unnecessary rules — many of which even staff don’t consistently enforce, often for good reason — the experience was still overwhelmingly positive. The exceptions were the two or three “storm-trooper” staff members who seemed more focused on rigid enforcement than on helping patients. The kitchen staff, however, were absolute standouts. The food was consistently on point, and the team ran things like true professionals. Reagan, Kevin, Marvin, Shannon, Jay, and either Ralph or Phil were cool as ice. These guys should be running the place. They were strict, but always fair. If any of them were giving you a hard time, you probably earned it. I want to give special recognition to Reagan and Kevin — genuinely two of the most authentic, sincere people I’ve ever met. I read a review saying the staff in recovery didn’t know how to handle addicts, and I STRONGLY disagree. In my experience, the staff members who were in recovery went above and beyond for patients multiple times, even in situations where they risked being reprimanded for helping. My only real complaint is consistency. Either dial back some of the rules, or have the “storm-trooper” staff follow the lead of the standout team members above — because those guys truly embody what this place should be about. I also want to shout out Jay one more time. He helped me out in a major way and he really didn’t have. All you guys. Keep doing what you do!

Zinnia is a special place. It's very clear to see that the staff aren't just doing this for a paycheck. The love that was showed to me during my stay was unparalleled. Tom, Linda, Jenn, Erin, Jaime, Olivia, Erick, Reagan, Emily Dr. Skip, Britney, Jen, Beatriz, Veronica, Darlene, Bobby Jo, Kristiana, Lindsey, Marvin, Nick, Ralph, Kim, Amanda, Mike, Tom and Chef Erick. Thank you for for showing me that it wasn't all over for me and there is a second chance at life for me. I'll never forget this experience. ❤️

Absolutely amazing staff and program. I have been there multiple times but this is the only program that helped me get truly sober. I plan on coming back to work there once I have 9 months clean.

I had in patient treatment in late fall. The AD Care facility was great! It was clean, very nice & comfortable place to stay. The food is very good and the cafeteria was clean and has a great onvionce. The staff are all very friendly and address your needs with a smile. The staff tends to all your needs and go out of their way to help you. The programs are thorough. They treat you for your physical ailments you may be experiencing as well as psychological aspects of your life. It is truly a all in one treatment facility. They are definitely spot on for the treatment one may be seeking. Hats off to the great staff at AD Care RI. Thank you for all the help that you provided me. Forever Grateful. Rick A

Great experience as usual

So for my experience this far it has been very very awesome. I am looking forward to my recovery here and experiencing what has yet to come. I'm sad that I cannot explore the woods and that they do not have an art room but Nicole expressed that an art room is coming. Eventually I may be able to visit the creek. Karen as well Cianna are so attentive and understanding. The rest of the staff like Keith, Jeesa, Sabrina and Justin are the bomb diggity.
