I went to Washburn house from December 27-January 7 to their detox program. I was 100 percent going to do their CSS but unfortunately there were not enough beds for women at that time. So I was sent to another CSS. My 12 days at Washburn completely transformed my life. This was my first time ever being in rehab before so I was beyond terrified. When I arrived at Washburn the Staff was amazing to me. They made me as comfortable as possible and let me know I could talk to them whenever I needed to. My caseworker LJ was absolutely amazing. She was so smart, compassionate and just supported me so much. As were all the other case workers. You could tell they really cared about their job and wanted everyone to succeed. The daily meetings at Washburn were great and they were the same as the meetings that I got at the CSS that I transferred to to be honest. And that is saying a lot because detox they know that you are sick and they are just trying to help you get through the day. But I got the best tools and ways to cope at my time at Washburn. The day to day floor staff was also so nice. They always checked in on you and made sure you were ok. When I went to the new CSS not a day went by that I didn t add Washburn to my gratitude list. I honestly believe if I didn t go to Washburn first I wouldn t have gotten the positive and life changing experience that I got. I am 27 days sober and I plan on staying sober for the rest of my life, with a lot of hard work ahead of me. My family and me will forever be grateful to Washburn and If you are ready to do the work then you can get so much out of this program. I mean there are hard to find the words to thank a place that you feel like helped give you your life back!

The Washburne house is hands down the best DETOX/CSS In the State. I ve been to probably all of them and I ve never had a better experience. I went in October 2024 broken, lost my spouse of 20 yrs my business, my truck, and my apartment. I was negative about my future and ready to not even try. When I left I went to the facility I wanted to go, I was positive, and for the first time of many times trying in the past Im really serious and ready to stay sober. I can t say enough or express how much the BHTS CASEWORKER/CLINICIANS MDS/NURSING, and the kitchen and House Kitchen staff have made an impact on my stay. I would and will recommend anyone who wants to get there life together and seriously change the Washburn house is a place that will make you feel welcome and give you all the tools and support to continue and get you where you need to go on your journey to sobriety. On a final note I m going back in 6 months and apply to work part time as a BHT so I can give back the same experience and help to the next person in need also feel the same as the Washburn House made me feel. Unfortunately I have been here a few times, but they were always welcoming and compassionate about it. They have some really great staff. The food is decent for the most part, there is plenty of it. The groups were good over all. Obviously some were more relative than others. Overall I would recommend NERC to a friend or relative.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about NERC in Westborough!!!! From my admission down at detox with Pam and Danny who really helped me decide to continue care at CSS and I m glad I did! To now 28 days later, I am ever so grateful for the team up there too! Words cannot describe how supported I was, If I had to use one word, I would say the care was priceless! Putting yourself first is something one has to do to get clean. I m so glad I did! Thank you New England recovery center! If it wasn t for you, I don t think I d be where I am now. Most importantly thank you Katie, for being such an amazing coach and cheerleader, do not lose that one because people like her don t come around that often! For Rose for saving my marriage! I want to thank all the staff at NERC for making my stay very productive and comfortable. The staff the food and the living area was clean and for the first time I feel very strong leaving the program with the knowledge and help of the staff in my recovery.

Came off 170 mgs of methadone without any major problems. I slept, ate, and was overall content. Nursing and tech staff made the stay what it should be. I m not really a taker but sometimes a smile from a random staff would get me out of the funk. They reduced my methadone 10mg a day from 170 until 20mg. I thought I would feel awful at 20 but the only problem I had was high blood pressure and sweating. All symptoms I could deal with. It s detox! You re not going to like everything about it!Atlanta, Mark, Christine, Joe, JAMIE! No techs or nurses ever made me feel like I was a bother. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get off a substance. Especially methadone, in I feel 1000 times better without that crap in my body. I live in NJ, only one place would take my ins. The rest would only detox from methadone of a 30-40mg dose. Sunrise did not rush me and kept their word I wouldn t receive surprise bills. They even didn t bill me for things they should have. Shortly before I went there I was on a ventilator. I am Doing the work but this place helped get me across the line. If you complain here it s your addiction talking. Has your addiction ever been correct with advice? Great place!

Place is incredible.The admin staff are rude and lazy.Nursing is great and Christine was an angel I needed at the time.Very grateful.

Great Recovery has helped me so much in my journey to Recovery.

I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient.Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

I can't express, the staff & treatment is Top notch. Staff so compassionate. Meals ,very good. There is not a bad thing I can say re:overall services. The Worcester staff is very special. So compassionate. I all you guys &gals I thank you.still obviously dealing with my demons. But, 2 meetings a day. I thank you all!

Clean, nice staff and and helpful groups

I never knew anything like this existed! I've never met someone so caring, comforting, and helpful as Nicole! She went WELL above and beyond my expectations! I am so thankful for her help and how CC helps people in the community. PLEASE donate. PLEASE volunteer. We all have to do what we can to help keep organizations like this afloat!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the lead doctor here Dr. B he is amazing and so kind and understanding. I ve been on many different clinics and I ve never been treated in such a humanizing way by a doctor. The clinic is good and I ve never had any problems with the nursing or any of the staff.

I'm not on the clinic and have never had a drug problem but a few of my friends are on it and I'm so happy that it's available for them. I thank the people who work here for saving lives!!!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful

They have many services and programs like intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient detoxification, dialectical behavioral therapy, Family Support Services, Parenting Groups, individual groups, family counseling, and dual diagnosis counseling. Just to name a few. Adcare Outpatient substance use treatment allows you to attend rehab programs while still attending to your daily responsibilities. They changed my life. The staff are caring and nonjudgemental. If you're struggling, give Adcare a try.

I have gone twice, each time put me back on track! This place, and affiliated buildings (inpatient, and out patient) are really incredible. They have what you need that will not just fit your life style, but what you actually need to get better. So many levels of care...Thank you guys for your help!

Staff is nice. However They constantly make you late for work you never know what you re going to run into when you get there every day it s different they need to have better policies and procedures for when the computers go down because people in recovery are very delicate and if they lose a job that could set them over the edge when they re just trying to get their methadone and do the right thing. Exceptions must be made on a very strict case by case basis for accommodations for certain people. Other than that, this is a good clinic, you are in take homes fast if you do what you re supposed to do and they don t require much out of you it s a lot better than spectrum or any other clinic around. Not that there are many to choose from spectrum and here . They need to keep a full staff daily so there s never long lines thus making people late for obligations and when in delicate recovery a loss of job can set someone over the edge in a snowball effect. Please we are BEGGING you KEN to help us more especially for the people that are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing to a T.
