She went over a series of questions, then promptly offered me treatment options. She took the time to listen to me and my concerns as well. Avery Earehart 1 year ago I've read past reviews and it's disheartening to hear given my time while short was beneficial. Yes the men's bathroom was atrocious but I dare you to make me one rehab facility that accepts medicaid insurance where the men's bathroom doesn't look bad. Sacred Heart for example is supposed to be the top tier for bottom insurance and the men there never flush leave their stuff all over it's like that especially in detox grown men don't know how to use proper hygene. But the staff went I was there a couple months ago were amazing friendly and funny especially Diamond she had me laughing a lot. The food is pretty good so I don't know what the one guy was complaining about mold. I've been to some of the best and worst rehabs and I can tell you it's what you put into it. If you are trouble you are gonna attract trouble or if you think you can just come in and coast and not participate then you won't get anything out of it. I had a bad relapse recently and unfortunately have to go back but I'm glad I'm going back to a place that has love and cares. Only negative thing I can say is what most would consider great is that they allow you to bring your personal cellphones in. Its great to listen to music and text family to passed the time but there is too much temptation to call or text the wrong people who could convince you to reconsider wanting to stay. The detox nurses deal with a lot and do it with kindness, compassion, and composure. I am incredibly grateful for the rest they provided me that I was in desperate need of. I believe in early recovery you gotta do 90/90. 90 meetings in 90 days to start change 😉😎. Remember to give yourself a break and get into NA to start working the steps of NA. The books how and why were my best tools. You must have a sponsor to work the steps. You can't do the steps alone because how do you know if you're doing them right 👍 and you'll have a friend forever. The majority of the employees there care about the residents. It's clean, they make sure your withdrawals are not too bad. When u 1st arrived you will be in detox 3 days or so then go over to the residents side for 29 days. The rooms have 2 to 3 people in it with its own shower/bath. Breakfast is 7, lunch 11, dinner 4 and a snack at 8. If you're too sick to go to the dining area they will bring it to your room. Mondays and Tuesday are your long days you're in meetings from 9am to 10pm. Group meetings are mandatory every day 9-11. Church is on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. They will help u get on your feet so u can survive when u get out. Oh and the men monitors are cute too, i know one resident who has started messing around with one recently. But the majority of them are not like that. It's a spiritually grounded place where God is first. Oh and you get to keep your phone and smoke whenever you want to. Let's see what else , Oh the food is good now it wasn't when I 1st got there but we complained about it at our weekly meeting and it has improved, a lot! As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best around, but I've only been to one other Christian guidance center, i caught COVID there. I was only there for 2 weeks but they never took my vitals when I was there. And Harbor Light checks them every 4 hours when you're in detox. And once you have completed everything you will get a certificate and a coin. Oh and u have to drop weekly, Oh and they also have a medical mobile unit that comes every Thursday iu need blood work or whatever done. I've been to other treatment centers but Nardin Park outclasses them all by leaps and bounds. The staff has a friendly but no nonsense attitude which I appreciate. They are professional and caring at the same time. For someone like me that is here for treatment and not a "Social Club", NPRC is the place to be!!! Well, it's 2023 and time for a life change. Thanks to NPRC I have been "clean" for over 2 years. I feel that I am ready to take the next step in my life. Time to detox out of the program. I am so ready to move on. The majority of the employees there care about the residents. It's clean, they make sure your withdrawals are not too bad. When u 1st arrived you will be in detox 3 days or so then go over to the residents side for 29 days. The rooms have 2 to 3 people in it with its own shower/bath. Breakfast is 7, lunch 11, dinner 4 and a snack at 8. If you're too sick to go to the dining area they will bring it to your room. Mondays and Tuesday are your long days you're in meetings from 9am to 10pm. Group meetings are mandatory every day 9-11. Church is on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. They will help u get on your feet so u can survive when u get out. Oh and the men monitors are cute too, i know one resident who has started messing around with one recently. But the majority of them are not like that. It's a spiritually grounded place where God is first. Oh and you get to keep your phone and smoke whenever you want to. Let's see what else , Oh the food is good now it wasn't when I 1st got there but we complained about it at our weekly meeting and it has improved, a lot! As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best around, but I've only been to one other Christian guidance center, i caught COVID there. I was only there for 2 weeks but they never took my vitals when I was there. And Harbor Light checks them every 4 hours when you're in detox. And once you have completed everything you will get a certificate and a coin. Oh and u have to drop weekly, Oh and they also have a medical mobile unit that comes every Thursday iu need blood work or whatever done. Unfortunately they no longer except private insurance. They do except Medicaid. Its $80 or $100 a week cash. There is also a block grant you ask abou through access, and Biomed. You are requires to see your counselor once a month, either in-person or through a phone session. Groups and didactics can be done either in-person or through a zoom meeting. Biomed is open from 5 am to 1 pm. Biomed offers takehomes to patients who follow the rules. If your interested in becoming a patient, please call and set up an intake. The process only takes around 1 to 3 hours to complete. After you finish the intake process you get your first dose that day. I love the staff at AWBS because they genuinely care about the wellbeing of not only the consumers they serve, but the consumers' family members as well. The transportation service is excellent. I no longer have to worry about struggling to get my brother to the program on time, get to my job on time, and having to leave my job to pick him up. AWBS transportation now picks up my brother from home, and drop him back off home right at the door. We love it! My brother now has a new social outlet, and a great weight is lifted off of me.
