Rose Hill Center is a residential mental health treatment facility for adolescents and adults in Holly, Michigan. They specialize in treating mental health disorders and co-occurring conditions, which may include drug addictions. It’s a private pa
I got a lot of support for my mental health. Very professional and they care deeply for each resident. They helped me find my self confidence and self worth. Most importantly they work as a team. I got support not just with my mental health but they provided an autism specialist who greatly improved my quality of my life. I owe Rose Hill so much to my life also the offer DBT therapy which challenged me to improve myself and receive support to reach my goals. My DBT coach Laura gave me hope to a broggter future and helped me with dealing with extreme anxiety. I totally recommend Rose Hill for mental health and people who are on the autism spectrum. Would love to one day share my personal experience in hopes to reach out to people who would benefit services from Rose Hill.

Truly a wonderful opportunity to experience if you’re looking to change your life. Unlike the typical, more “hospital like” residential, Rose Hill encourages independence and helping you build skills to use in the real world. My time at Rose Hill, as a resident, has changed my life. I would say the biggest pros are: You get to keep your phone, they don’t stop you from vaping/smoking nicotine, you can have your car there under certain circumstances, you can go out on “day passes” into the community, there are many outings on a weekly basis, you get to go grocery shopping on a weekly basis as well, and you get your own, decently spacious room. Rose Hill has competent and caring social workers/case managers, therapists and floor staff. People you can tell that truly care. I’d suggest Rose Hill if you want to change your life.

Rose Hill has been my home since March 2025. I am fortunate to have found them right as they began taking insurance. Their leap into the world of insurance is proof of how much they care; I have seen firsthand how dedicated they have been to making Rose Hill accessible for a greater population. I have been supported by a wonderful team on a daily basis as I’ve moved through their program. Support staff (non-clinicians who oversee daily care in the residential buildings) are amazing. There are many who understand that this is your home, and they work to see that you are comfortable as a result. The drivers who take you to off campus appointments seem to love their jobs, and it shows as you interact with them. There is a high turnover at case manager positions, but the ones who do stay longterm are phenomenal and will always have your back. This turnover is minimal among therapists. The therapist team at Rose Hill is perhaps their best asset. There is truly someone for everyone, and from what I’ve seen, there is a near perfect process in place to match residents with a therapist upon arrival. I highly suggest asking them about their team of clinicians during the admissions process; they will likely be able to provide you with a list of people you may work with, which is unlike other larger residential facilities. I did this and was able to research their team ahead of time. As for programming, you will get out what you put in. You could certainly skip groups, meals, appointments, activities, etc. if you wanted to — the staff can’t stop you. But I promise you that you will gain nothing from the experience if you do not engage in the community and programming on campus. The four therapeutic work groups are all run by people who have been employed at Rose Hill for a very long time; it is admirable how much these work leaders care. If you are like me and struggle with structure and consistency, this is a place that can help with that— just be open to building the willingness to do the work. The entire team will always work with you to address your specific needs. As their Vice President of Clinical Operations tells me frequently, “you are not a math problem; you do not need to be solved.” Thankfully, this idea extends into their psychiatric treatment as well. Rose Hill understands that it is not medication alone that will help you succeed in life; it is about building life skills while finding the medication that allows you to put those skills into practice. I’ve seen many people come in lethargic and obviously overmedicated; Rose Hill seems to not keep it that way, as those people typically open up and become more vibrant and healthy during their time here. Once again, it is a result of finding the medication balance that works for them. The living conditions are unusually clean for a mental health facility. The housekeeping team does a terrific job of keeping common areas tidy, but it is up to you to keep your bedroom that way. Bathrooms are shared with other people in your hallway but are private (they do not resemble college dorms). Phones are always allowed. As long as you stay on campus and check in once an hour, you’re mostly free to do what you’d like. Bottom line: Rose Hill is unique. I don’t think there are many places that exist like this. If you are struggling with mental health issues and find yourself here, whether by choice, by court order, by a guardian’s mandate, etc., I view you as fortunate. There will always be frustrations and moments of upset that come up in any mental health facility, but they are minimal at Rose Hill in comparison to other facilities. The team is small and the staff cares. Get to know them, and they will get to know you. Once again, you get out what you put in. As I move closer to discharge, I find myself feeling thankful for my time here, optimistic about the future, and in some ways, sad to leave. And while I hope to never need this intensive level of care in my life again, there is a comfort in knowing that Rose Hill exists should I ever get incredibly off track.

My loved one said it’s the best place they have been. I noticed some reviews that say their loved one was harassed. I’m guessing they are new at this. Most addicts will say anything When they are craving, or actively using. I say this to not only the person that wrote the review, but to everybody reading this that Loves an addict.; I suggest this person Joins Al Anon, Nar Anon, or any support Group that works for you. One thing you learn Is an addict that is actively using, or craving, is lying when their lips move. It looks like a couple months since that review was written, Wondering how their loved one is doing today, I pray they are doing well. I’ve been with my loved one For 20 years. It has taking me all of that time to learn to Love With Detachment. It Has also taken me that amount of time to learn that I have a disease by proxy of loving an addict. Al Anon Has been very helpful to keep my mental health in What could be an otherwise chaotic & dysfunctional life. Everyone, please remember, it is not only the addict that needs help when it comes to addiction. Don’t be afraid to seek it, you will be surprised how many other people are dealing with the same things as you.

I just want to take some time to shed some light on this beautiful painstaking have! Meridian holds the most special place in my heart. They have literally become like a family to me. I was a hard case. I was stubborn and guarded. I'm a hands on learner and it's taken me at least 10 years in and out to receive the gift meridian and sobriety offers! People like jayson murray the p.r.c. there taught me "move a muscle change a thought" or "you just have to draw the line". These things sound simple but when you're actually in a jam and you can hear that voice overcoming this disease the somethings working! Something or someone bigger and far more GREATER than me is moving in my life! Having someone like Jackie willing to put in work day to day to help bridge the gaps for us in a daily basis is LIFE CHANGING! I couldn't ask for a better person to ask for help! The M.T.'s that show up everyday with a smile and love everyday in spite of their own lives is the heart of this program! They all choose to work here and show us unconditional love. Meridian loved me until I could love myself. I can say that I truly do love myself today! Now that I've actually experienced recovery I will stop at nothing less ONE DAY AT A TIME THOUGH! The medical staff is also the heartbeat 💓! I want to give a thank you to Corey for always loving me and treating me like I'm your own, stephanie- I remember saying to you "I just want to be a good person" you didn't even pause when you said "you are a good person you just have a disease, and I mean that"!! I will never forget that! Becky- I just adore you so much, courtney-diddnt get to see yah but I appreciate you and think about you often, Lyndsay and Amanda you guys are rockstars and meghan- I'm so grateful for the program you implemented and all the positive changes happening here!! Laurell- I'm so grateful you were my caseworker! You allowed me to jump in and face fears Id usually stuff. You encouraged me and reminded me of who I am. I'm forever grateful! Autumn- it's such a blessing to see you working in this field. You inspire me so darn much! I pray one day I can join this beautiful place on the other side! Kim r.-thank you for showing me compassion! You're all such an inspiration. I truly love you guys and am forever eternally grateful. I hope one day I can reach someone like you guys did me! Even if it takes a decade 😉

I have been dosing, attending counseling have 2 recovery coaches and have been inpatient. At this facility, I can't possibly say enough. Good things about them. The staff is friendly, helpful and Always professional, particularly Megan, Sarah, Jacqueline, Hanna,Dave and Kathleen i've been with them for 3 years. Even though it isn't a necessity right now, I would happily go back to inpatient. Just to get some more experience with the staff there. I've been to over 13 rehab facilities, and this one is by far the best. They have also kept me sober. The longest .

This place was a pivotal part of my recovery journey. I was here twice, once in September 2019 and once in March 2023 (which was my last time in rehab). I’ve been to several different rehabs all over the state and I’ll say this: Brighton isn’t the nicest facility, they don’t have the best food, but Brighton has THE BEST therapy, therapist, and THERE is where you get some of the most one-on-one time with your therapist. They give you real thoughtful work to do on your own and hold you accountable to change and doing the work if you say you really want it. Their IOP is Amazing and the sessions lead by Mo changed my life. Dudes awesome 👏 Anyway, never a fun experience but 100% would recommend.

I Was a patient here 5 years ago I started drinking at the age of 14 and got into other stuff at 19. I didn't know how to live life without a buffer Brighton gave me the tools to begin the recovery process I am still clean and sober after a horrible detox from barbiturates and Suboxone, I am thankful and grateful everyday that I made the decision to call and ask Brighton for help. Even after being shipped out to the hospital after 2 weeks they let me back in and gave me the tools and advice to start my recovery process. Thankful and Grateful ❤️

I had a great experience with therapy here. When I was through and wanted my notes and paperwork from my time there I called the place and was transferred to medical records where I left a message to return my call. My call was returned within the day and I was emailed my paperwork asap, no problem. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

i competed the adult PHP and i couldn’t be happier about my time at new oakland! i am a healthcare provider myself and the therapists, providers, and support staff are SO genuine and kind. being in a group therapy setting was a scary thought initially but i felt that it was a very safe space to share my experiences. i also enjoyed hearing other’s experiences as it helped to remind me that we are all going through similar issues in life. the therapists even completed the worksheets along side of us and shared their experiences about their own healing journeys which was reassuring. i’ve learned and grown so much during my time here and i am very appreciative of the employees who made it happen: zach, mara, michelle, amber and everyone else. ya’ll deserve a raise LOL. thank you!!! :)

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! GET THE HELP ITS WORTH IT!!!❤️❤️❤️ I truly can’t say enough about how much the New Oakland Clarkston location changed my life. I came in during a crisis, and I left feeling stable, hopeful, and genuinely happy. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with open arms—there’s no judgment, just compassion, warmth, and professionalism. I was part of the face-to-face program at 28 years old, and everything exceeded my expectations. The group therapy sessions were incredibly powerful and gave me tools I didn’t even realize I was missing. My group leader, Kailee, was with me for the majority of the program and is genuinely one of the most bubbly, kindhearted, and knowledgeable souls I’ve ever met. She created a space that was safe, supportive, and uplifting every single day. Niki, my therapist, is truly amazing—so insightful, attentive, and caring. Dominique, the nurse, is an absolute gem—compassionate, patient, and always there when you need her. And Matt, the psychologist, didn’t waste any time helping me find the right medication and support. He took my concerns seriously and acted quickly, which made a world of difference. The staff here truly care. It doesn’t feel like “treatment”—it feels like a community of people who love what they do and want to help you grow and heal. The food was great every day, the atmosphere was calming and structured, and they even gave us breaks for fresh air, which made a huge difference for my mental health. This place gave me a full toolbox to take with me, and for the first time in a long time, I feel ready. But here’s the truth: you get out what you put in. If you show up, participate, and commit to the process, you will see change. This team will support you every step of the way, but you have to meet them there. What sets New Oakland apart is that their care doesn’t stop when you walk out the door. They set you up with a real plan for continued support—and they actually follow through. I will forever be grateful for the experience I had here. This team helped me find myself again. Thank you, New Oakland Clarkston. You saved me.

I recently was discharged from the PHP Face to Face program. It was an amazing program! I learned a lot of coping skills, and really felt that I was in a safe, non-judgmental facility. I spent most of my time with Kailee. She is EXACTLY what the mental health world needs. She is so kind. She really takes the time to get to know. She challenges you, makes you get a little out of your comfort zone, and shows incredible support. I also had the pleasure of working with Martha and Dr. Harris. Both were so warm and friendly. You can tell they just want to see you feel better. Everyone I encountered was so kind! They never made me feel bad or insecure about being there. Even the front desk ladies were amazing! The one who works check in was always in a great mood, and that helps you settle in and feel comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend New Oakland in Clarkston if you’re in a dark patch. They will help you create an action plan to get you back to your best self! I hope I never hit a spot again where I need PHP again, but it’s great to know there’s such wonderful humans willing to help you. 10 out of 10 experience.

This facility is, by far, the best in Michigan for mental health services. Something they offer that I've never received before was a case manager. Helps schedule appointments, checks in every month, arranges appropriate services based on what is most helpful to you, and provides resources on absolutely anything you may need. My case manager Abby even offered to help me on miscellaneous tasks such as going through/organizing paper stacks, basically anything you can think of, they are willing to help you with at the office. Case manager Abby even picked up clothing donations for my children as we had fallen on hard times. She has so many resources and she's been like an angel helping me manage things to make it easier on me so I can focus on therapeutic work. It's quite amazing the service I've received from Easter Seals. The psychiatrist, Dr. Linsk, is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever had. He takes time at every appointment to listen to me. He keeps up to date on the latest research. He's even been the first to give me new diagnosises that go beyond generalized anxiety, depression, ect. As for therapy, I had the pleasure of meeting the best therapist I've ever had, Emma. Emma has since left as she was an intern, however, my success story continued as I met my next therapist. I've been to at least 6 other mental health centers and I've never been given any other therapy besides basic CBT talk therapy. My first meeting with the new therapist, I tell her I've been working on this same issue for 10 years, she selflessly said she'd like me to try another therapist who is trained in Exposure Therapy as it may be a better help for me. That other therapist came right in to the room with us, talked, and we all agreed to try this and that I can go back to regular therapy after completion. They even offer group therapy but I've not used that service. The therapists here are young and fresh and are educated on the latest research. They have a drive of providing quality care that I've never experienced before. The whole office is the top standard of mental health services. My only adverse experiences have come from the front desk. I am aware of how hard it is to deal with patients at the front desk. They always have to handle the problems and are looked to for a solution. I've witnessed patients not speaking very kindly to the ladies at the front desk, however, I have a few issues with them myself. Any time I come into the office, I wait at the counter behind glass while nobody acknowledges my presence. I listen to their personal stories as the whole waiting room can hear them. Someone from the back usually pops in after me standing in front of the window for 5 minutes and finally assist me. I've been forgotten to be checked in twice. I've had therapists calling me from inside their office to ask if I was coming today as I was in the waiting room well on time. Front desk is probably one of the toughest and lowest paying jobs at the center, however the front desk needs a lot of guidance because their quality does not match the quality of the whole office. The front desk staff brings the whole office score down and I hope to see that change in the future because the front desk is the first encounter for most clients. A lot of people who will benefit from this location may be deterred because of the mishaps. But overall, best service in Michigan. I don't understand the negative reviews as I feel the complete opposite. Especially since I've been told and feel comfortable asking for a change in therapists or doctors if I'm not finding a good fit. Therapy works both ways. I'm sure with the quality mental health providers, you will find a good match. I'm so thankful to have found this location and I encourage others looking for quality care to reach out for assistance. This may just be the last road to recovery of your mental health you'll need to walk. They provide so much support. I don't know how they do it all! Thank you. You've all been angels in my life! :)

I haven't had much luck making a good connection with the therapists, partially my fault for not making more time. But the psychiatrists have truly been a godsend. When I first set my appointment in 2020, I really was on the verge of not existing. Now it's four years laters and I'm days away from a college degree. Dr. Linsk is very professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what's needed from appointments and medications don't run out.

I could not have had a better experience! Everyone from the moment I walked in, taken to the back and left was kind and helpful. I’m big on looking at patients outside of what a textbook says. My daughter has been sick for 3months and I was fed up with her old pediatric office not doing anything. I’m so glad I switched to Howell Pediatrics and Teen Center. I felt heard, understood and I could tell they cared for my daughter’s wellbeing. As a first time mom those three things are important. I’m thankful we have found our new pediatrician. Thank you for caring for my family and making us feel like a priority!

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can’t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it’s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I’ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it’s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It’s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Thanks for all the help easterseals. You have a 5 star review from my family!!

We have been going here for years. We’ve seen a few doctors and therapists. I have never had any issues with any of the staff, doctors, or therapists. We’re always treated well. If you’re looking for pediatric/ adolescent care I highly recommend Dr. Greer. As far as therapists go Sarah Mathew and Elissa Redman are amazing!

I lived for 9 months and I really liked it very much. They had adult sized tricycles in 2015. I would ride them around on the property to and from the Scripps Mansion and to the circle drive near the men’s treatment center. I tried riding to and from the gym/ physical therapy building where the business offices and printing press for the magazine journal. It was too hard going up hill but a breeze coming back down to the bridge . Then I had to get off and push it up to the treatment center for women. I really enjoyed my time at this place. However all good times have to end and mine ended .

Guest House offers best-practice, evidence based treatment of addictions and other conditions which may be associated. Their commitment to clients is the foundation of their intensive treatment program, and they support health on all levels. Not only did I get my life back, I'm living a quality of life I didn't even see as possible before treatment. It was hard, hard work, but I'm a much better member of my community now, as well as engaging with life in fuller and more healthy ways. I thank God daily for the gifts and grace I received through treatment at Guest House!

As I sit outside waiting for 10a I realize that’s why these clothes have been in my car for months. 10a only and if clothes left outside they will be thrown away, is crazy. Then I saw a family walk out and one of the children shouted donations. In that moment 10a didnt matter. It’s not families fault I have to wait so waiting is what I’ll do. Patience gotta be practiced and now is the perfect time.

The stars are for Dr. Olimpia Neagoe❤️❤️❤️ Only!!! I've checked all the other reviews and they're saying the same thing about the billing dept...The billing dept is trully discusting they charge co-pays without making sure the insurance company hasn't paid for the entire visit and won't refund your money wonce the truth comes out... I believe Sandy needs to work the front desk while she was so sure l owed $295.00 that ld already paid... She was very persistent with her claim.... Check your deductible before you Pay Copays They need to be investigated asap... Sally left a voicemail stating l owe nothing!! I saved that voice mail along with the 1st one from last year this time... l became very angry because I knew l owed nothing..This has happened twice and now lm done. I believe someone is pocketing a lot of money...And scamming people But The Truth Always Comes to the Light... More then 4 people are saying the same thing about the billing dept🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I'm very surprised at all the poor reviews but I've been very happy with my therapist and psychiatrist. I've been going here for several years and other than the front desk being a bit on the rude side, everything else has been great. I guess it really depends on the therapist and psychiatrist you have. I'm giving four stars because of the front desk.

Amazing place with people who care about you and care about your life. Dashika is amazing and I absolutely adore her. I've been going for almost 6 years. I had 33 broken bones and was told I'd never walk again and that pain meds were going to be something to take daily forever. I haven't taken a pain pill or 15 at a time in the 6 years I have been here. The staff for the most part is great and I never feel looked down upon. If you are ready this place can help you amd they will care about you every step of the way. Building is rough but they really do try to keep it clean and functional. Best group of people I have had the privilege to come to know.
