I don t think people consider the mental health crisis going on, and that a community office like this is going to have longer wait times. But I ve been coming here for a few months now with my child. The nurse has been nothing but sweet to us. And takes the time to answer my questions as well as follows up with concerns! The nurse practitioner dose run late sometimes (10-20 mins MAX) and is done through video chat at the office. Which is fine! Video has always been clear and I don t understand why someone would be upset about him over explaining medications?! It should be that way! And I personally respect that, he does take a while to get into but again. It s a community office with large case loads! Front desk staff is very friendly! And returns calls promptly! Our therapist is great and really works with our family! And once the ball gets rolling which is going to take time appointments and visits get better. This office looks newly updated and clean from what I ve seen thus far!

I came to Rose Hill in July 2005. I was put on the right medication but gained a few pounds. I went through the program being on three different crews. The work therapy program is top notch. In August of 2022 I decided to go off my medication completely. I lost weight but was very manic and went to the Hurley hospital psych ward then back to Rose Hill. The Rose Hill psychiatrist got me back on medication and I'm very successful today in the community. I currently have two regular jobs. I gained weight but am losing it on a healthy scale. I recommend Rose Hill.

Because of poor planning on my part I was going out of town for an extended period of time and was going to run out of some of my medication. I called the pharmacy and spoke with Heidi and she saved the day. She had my prescriptions prepared and shipped the next day! I lived for 9 months and I really liked it very much. They had adult sized tricycles in 2015.I would ride them around on the property to and from the Scripps Mansion and to the circle drive near the men s treatment center. I tried riding to and from the gym/ physical therapy building where the business offices and printing press for the magazine journal. It was too hard going up hill but a breeze coming back down to the bridge . Then I had to get off and push it up to the treatment center for women. I really enjoyed my time at this place. However all good times have to end and mine ended .

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Update 3/20/25: Upon leaving this review, the medical director here went absolutely above and beyond to fix any issues that I had and went completely out of their way to accommodate my needs on a level I ve never experienced at any doctors office in my life. In fact, I m incredibly grateful for the doctors here, and although their front desk staff could clearly use some work in professionalism and providing proper compassionate care to patients, especially around the holidays, I must say this place is lead with compassionate, heartfelt, loving people who truly care about their patients. I wish that was more obvious from the beginning. I thank Easterseals for the way they went above and beyond for me. Thank youOriginal Review 12/20/24: Once again, I just called to figure out how to proceed with a prior authorization in 2025 with the medical assistant because my medication will no longer be covered by my insurance in 2025. While the medical assistant and I were communicating, someone working there in the background began screaming and shouting at me in the most unbelievably rude unprofessional manner. Literally shouting and screaming at me in the background. I did not raise my voice one single time. I am so unbelievably shocked I am genuinely afraid for my health and wellbeing regarding my professional health with this company. I have been trying to call back to speak to a supervisor just to make sure my medication is being taken care of and I am getting ignored over and over again at the front desk. This feels intentional and I am begging someone from this company to please contact me directly. The stress and toll this is taking on my mental health is making my mental health even worse when this establishment was supposed to help mental health in our community. Everyone has been so kind, so compassionate and so helpful. Unfortunately we have not had this type of a positive experience at the other VA clinics that we have attended in the state. I was here again but this time I was volunteered in. March,8-19,2025. Let's see how this step down CRU is all about that they had me go to. Health source has changed they separated boys and girls. The boys are allowed to walk 3 halls and the girls only have one hall to walk. Complete favoritism. So they let a fight happen the day after I left. A transgender was also being bullied to the point she cut her wrist. And from what I was told the staff let it happen. I'm not sure how true it is. Courtney and Dr Movva are real good. Some of the newer staff are kind and caring.Thank you the therapist Renee and Dr Rao and the staff for being there! You guys are all wonderful and treatment was good! I really enjoyed being there! I'm gonna just come right out and tell everyone that is reading this, I was at Harbor Oaks Hospital 3-15-25 till 3-24-25 and while I was there the staff on the Older Adult Unit are truly amazing people the BHA's Behavior Health Atociate really do a lot of work to keep the unit's safe it's as if they're the one's on the front line I'd love to mention everyone by name but I won't for a few reasons, on Friday 3-22-24 I had one hell of hard day but the staff kept reaching out to me to see if they can help out in anyway I mentioned no I just need to be by myself and it's cool because they did let me have my space but also made sure I was safe as well, all I can do is say thank you to the entire team on the Older Adult Unit as I've said I was safe and taken great care of by everyone
