My name is Vernon and I been a patient at Biomed since 2010. Biomed is one of the best clinics in the Metro Detroit area. They always welcome everyone and will not judge you at your current status in life. The staff is very polite and courteous, and biomed offers a safe enviorment during your recovery. Biomed offers various didatics, group therapy, and counseling. I've been clean for 15 years. Unfortunately they no longer except private insurance. They do except Medicaid. Its $80 or $100 a week cash. There is also a block grant you ask abou through access, and Biomed. You are requires to see your counselor once a month, either in-person or through a phone session. Groups and didactics can be done either in-person or through a zoom meeting. Biomed is open from 5 am to 1 pm. Biomed offers takehomes to patients who follow the rules. If your interested in becoming a patient, please call and set up an intake. The process only takes around 1 to 3 hours to complete. After you finish the intake process you get your first dose that day.

Not only have they helped me with recovery but they became part of my recovery family. Bill is straight forward with what he expects and also understands real life issues but will not be played as he knows the in and outs of how qbh is ran and what people are up to. Beth is definitely their to help she came from beimg in the ER as a nurse and now coming to qbh to help the very people she seen impacted by drugs and will help anyway she can. Glenn always has positive and straightforward answers or questions to what you might be dealing with. Ron is the group counselor and he will let you get whatever is bothering you or even daily life issues out into the group for discussion. Everyone theor is somewhat helpful and I recommend qbh to whoever is out their struggling their is help. Call today

Just checking in on you guys. Thank You for all your help and the tools to stay clean. I left about four years ago and was at 120 . After about 45 days of going thru withdrawals I finally gave in to Suboxone. My next step is the shot. Hi Bill and glad to see you're still here. TY for always being cool and I'll never forget you. I think I was 518 and can only imagine what number you're on today!! Addicts do recover when they choose to!!!! Ty QBH for the tools to stay clean by making me go to group and therapy 🙌. Which made me start going to NA meetings. I believe in early recovery you gotta do 90/90. 90 meetings in 90 days to start change 😉😎. Remember to give yourself a break and get into NA to start working the steps of NA. The books how and why were my best tools. You must have a sponsor to work the steps. You can't do the steps alone because how do you know if you're doing them right 👍 and you'll have a friend forever.

My brother has been receiving services from AWBS for 14 years and he absolutely loves it. I love the staff at AWBS because they genuinely care about the wellbeing of not only the consumers they serve, but the consumers' family members as well. The transportation service is excellent. I no longer have to worry about struggling to get my brother to the program on time, get to my job on time, and having to leave my job to pick him up. AWBS transportation now picks up my brother from home, and drop him back off home right at the door. We love it! My brother now has a new social outlet, and a great weight is lifted off of me. Thank you AWBS.

Great staff and clean facility

I absolutely love this place and now that I'm gone I even miss them. The majority of the employees there care about the residents. It's clean, they make sure your withdrawals are not too bad. When u 1st arrived you will be in detox 3 days or so then go over to the residents side for 29 days. The rooms have 2 to 3 people in it with its own shower/bath. Breakfast is 7, lunch 11, dinner 4 and a snack at 8. If you're too sick to go to the dining area they will bring it to your room. Mondays and Tuesday are your long days you're in meetings from 9am to 10pm. Group meetings are mandatory every day 9-11. Church is on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. They will help u get on your feet so u can survive when u get out. Oh and the men monitors are cute too, i know one resident who has started messing around with one recently. But the majority of them are not like that. It's a spiritually grounded place where God is first. Oh and you get to keep your phone and smoke whenever you want to. Let's see what else , Oh the food is good now it wasn't when I 1st got there but we complained about it at our weekly meeting and it has improved, a lot! As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best around, but I've only been to one other Christian guidance center, i caught COVID there. I was only there for 2 weeks but they never took my vitals when I was there. And Harbor Light checks them every 4 hours when you're in detox. And once you have completed everything you will get a certificate and a coin. Oh and u have to drop weekly, Oh and they also have a medical mobile unit that comes every Thursday iu need blood work or whatever done. Teally cool joint that I highly recommend

Back in 2011 this place changed my life. Actually learned a lot of important stuff. Detox and stayed there for 3 months. If I'm not mistaken it's a free program. If I'm wrong then it was definitely a low amount. Especially when comparing other places.

I was able to interact with ms. Julia, regarding those things which had taken place in my life over the years in my private life of which I'd not spoken about with anyone not my children, or family. I have carried these heavy memories from my past. I was greatful to be able to speak with ms. JULIA, From Easter Seals nit having to be concerned that my private thoughts would be shared.

I'm in love with one of your therapists at the Clinton township office Krystal Lepoudre Johnston she's has saved my life and I am eternally great full I could write books about her and how much she cares and help I wish her only the best and she deserves a promotion or a raise therapist of the year.🥳❣️

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can’t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it’s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I’ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it’s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It’s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Great place to get free food when you got the munchies, like a stoner restruant. Only bad thing is the water there gave me diarrhea and my phone got stolen. 8.7/10 experience

The manager is a boss babe she gets things DONE! I was dropped off at the wrong location and instead of giving some fake sympathy or redirection she made sure that I got transportation to the correct location. All at the end of her shift! Thank you! You just don’t know how this made me feel 👏

I see a bunch of bad reviews here and so I felt compelled to leave a good one. My own experience at Easterseals has only been since early June 2025, but I must express that they do have some wonderful staff here and they've been mostly pleasant and quite helpful in addressing my needs and concerns. My caseworker's been very positive and actually quite responsive when it comes to communication, which truly makes all the difference for me, personally. I feel she genuinely cares. My psychiatrist and therapist also have been great in similar ways. I can't say enough good things about these amazing women! Sure, front end staff seem off or a bit grumpy or just burned out sometimes, but, honestly I can't blame them - I wouldn't be able to deal with the job well myself! It'd annoy the hell out of me dealing with so many people all day. We all get tired of work at times, we're all only human ya know. (I only mentioned this because of the negatory comments I read regarding the initial staff). Lastly, their transportation guys are also awesome! I think what it all comes down to is your own personal attitude, tolerance, and the ability to have compassion and understanding from other perspectives in these type of places when it comes to staff interactions and services in general. I use the Genoa pharmacy there as well, and they've always been great. You get what you give in life or what you put into things folks. It's also good to remember we can't truly control anything outside of ourselves, only what's within us. But, I digress - to each their own. This place sucks never answer the phone. My caseworker is out of her mind. The only good thing about it is my therapist highly unrecommended
