I of course could say some pretty Horrible Things about some of the treatment i revived there in the past. (( half my fault half their fault to be fair lol)) I Also can say that i wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for this place!! I mean. I still don't like all the staff, but you're not going to every place you go. But for what's actually available in lansing this place Deserves more credit than it gets. Yeah, it might be a little understaffed at times, And with such an influx of people going there now. Sometimes there is it pretty annoying wait to dose but really we all know things could be way worse. By no means, am I saying that it's perfect, but i am saying that if u want it to work they will do everything to support you along the way. ◇Shout out◇ to ☆nurse-nikki☆ it really meant alot to me that u brought up doin the cows and told me my next up date..... Ive really been going through it lately and it was just the right amount of kindness and support i needed to hear the other day so thank you!!please dont stop hasling me about goin up and having my stupid box!!! I went to rainbow in highland park, the Brighton center in Brighton, and this place is a night and day difference from the trauma I endured from other centers. I actually had an issue with a former PRC and they actually let them go for not being professional. I Never felt like I mattered in a clinic before, but I do feel welcome here and get treated like a human being. Treyvon and Crystal are great counselors, I’m glad I got into this center. My anxiety was completely out of control and I was spiraling. The first couple of days were tough. I sat through group therapy and wasn't sure that I should be there. My problems seemed minor compared to others. On day three, I realized I was exactly where I needed to be. I learned skills to deal with my stress. The staff was very supportive. The Psychiatrist was able to get find a very helpful combination of medications. I feel so much better and am so happy to have attended the program. I haven't had a panic attack in over two months! Of course I hate that I have to drug test twice a week and do the groups and one on one meetings because it really messes with my job and I lose a lot of hrs every week but I put myself in the position that I'm in so no one to blame but myself. It would be nice if they could work around your job schedule better when it comes to groups and the one on one meetings! That's my only complaint!! I was put on the right medication but gained a few pounds. I went through the program being on three different crews. The work therapy program is top notch. In August of 2022 I decided to go off my medication completely. I lost weight but was very manic and went to the Hurley hospital psych ward then back to Rose Hill for a 'tune up'. The Rose Hill psychiatrist got me back on medication and I'm very successful today in the community. I currently have one job that I've held for almost ten years at Genesys Health Club. The program carries on after leaving campus. I'm in the Community Support Program (csp) with some appointments at Rose Hill Center. I highly recommend Rose Hill Center. Craig 6 months ago I got a lot of support for my mental health. Very professional and they care deeply for each resident. They helped me find my self confidence and self worth. Most importantly they work as a team. I got support not just with my mental health but they provided an autism specialist who greatly improved my quality of my life. I owe Rose Hill so much to my life also the offer DBT therapy which challenged me to improve myself and receive support to reach my goals. My DBT coach Laura gave me hope to a broggter future and helped me with dealing with extreme anxiety. I totally recommend Rose Hill for mental health and people who are on the autism spectrum. Would love to one day share my personal experience in hopes to reach out to people who would benefit services from Rose Hill. john clawson 8 months ago Truly a wonderful opportunity to experience if you’re looking to change your life. Unlike the typical, more “hospital like” residential, Rose Hill encourages independence and helping you build skills to use in the real world. My time at Rose Hill, as a resident, has changed my life. I would say the biggest pros are: You get to keep your phone, they don’t stop you from vaping/smoking nicotine, you can have your car there under certain circumstances, you can go out on “day passes” into the community, there are many outings on a weekly basis, you get to go grocery shopping on a weekly basis as well, and you get your own, decently spacious room. Rose Hill has competent and caring social workers/case managers, therapists and floor staff. People you can tell that truly care. I’d suggest Rose Hill if you want to change your life.
