I did my intake/transfer from my muskegon clinic this morning and they were so good to work with and made me comfortable which is something I was worried about. The staff was super nice and professional! I'm excited to see where this next chapter of my sober journey will take me with this facility now! Victory is helping me get my life back 👍🏽. it's difficult in the beginning, but worth the uncomfortable 1st day to get treatment started 🤢🤮😵💫I almost walked out a few times on day 1 but held on, and I'm so glad I did. The councilers & Doctor really have empathy for what people are going thru, they don't judge, and help you every step of the way. I took one of my children here for therapy. They were having trouble managing their behaviors. To be honest I think that the therapy felt more for me than them. I felt so alone and at my wits end after dealing with it alone for so long. They saw Jason C. And he was so helpful and supportive. He made a genuine connection with my child and the behavior stopped gradually. I would recommend him to any parent who's child is struggling.

This place gave me HOPE something I didn’t know about. When I walked into them doors they told me that they were going to LOVE ME UNTIL I LOVED MYSELF & that’s exactly what they did. The staff were patient, kind, funny, respectable and caring. Personally i would have preferred an 8 hour day but then again i am an older female who rather spend my day resting, eating and watching movies! I was quite fond of Marrow even though i am sure i am spelling her name wrong. The other lady who did so much in activity wise was a super encourager. Sorry i dont remember her name. She may have come from Germany but anywhoo Hope House and the dancing staffer who taught a lot about gardening and painting were a great inspiration. Keep up the good work. Hope House, YOU ROCK!!!

House of Commons Has a brand new, very clean interior, as well as Environment.
The staff are very intellectually and affectionately invested in helping their residents with effective reasoning and tactical coping management skills.
I was court ordered, however, I would recommend H.O.C. to anyone that's serious about their recovery and mental healing.
The food is good and the environment is very relaxed and accommodating. The facility let's you smoke outside at leisure. And they treat you like a civilized human.

If you are looking for a new beginning and to find yourself and discover who you are again while learning about addiction and simultaneously get sober, this is the place. The food is amazing, its absolutely beautiful, and you are surrounded by strong staff and nature. The staff is amazing, starting from intake and all the way up to the doctors. BRIE the PA IS PHENOMENAL choose her. This is NOT a summer camp for your kids that are not ready for sobriety. If your young adult child really wants help, ok, remember no one can fix someone that doesn't want to get well, especially young adults.(18-25). This is a place to get better and to re-align with your spirituality, health, and values. 10/10 for anyone looking for a new and amazing version of effective treatment that is motivational, open to outdoors, and healthy. This place is great, getting sober is not easy or fun and the only issue I have personally witnessed is that yes; all of thier staff cannot be in recovery or understand us addicts but they truly have made a huge effort to adapt to this new age in which you can get into a rehab basically for free, get decent if not really good food(DFD) and have the chance to.btreak old bad habits etc. Im 39 and when I first tried to get sober at 18 or so it was incredibly difficult to find a rehab that didn't cost 40K. Jail or the streets were your option so remember that these people are getting paid very little yet choose to work here because most of them do care but there are thinhs called HIPPA laws etc and so that takes a toll on certain aspects of how they have to structure thier program. This place and ann arbor will keep you sober and help you recover for better or worse.

This place was a pivotal part of my recovery journey. I was here twice, once in September 2019 and once in March 2023 (which was my last time in rehab). I’ve been to several different rehabs all over the state and I’ll say this:
Brighton isn’t the nicest facility, they don’t have the best food, but Brighton has THE BEST therapy, therapist, and THERE is where you get some of the most one-on-one time with your therapist. They give you real thoughtful work to do on your own and hold you accountable to change and doing the work if you say you really want it. Their IOP is Amazing and the sessions lead by Mo changed my life. Dudes awesome 👏
Anyway, never a fun experience but 100% would recommend.

I Was a patient here 5 years ago I started drinking at the age of 14 and got into other stuff at 19. I didn't know how to live life without a buffer Brighton gave me the tools to begin the recovery process I am still clean and sober after a horrible detox from barbiturates and Suboxone, I am thankful and grateful everyday that I made the decision to call and ask Brighton for help. Even after being shipped out to the hospital after 2 weeks they let me back in and gave me the tools and advice to start my recovery process.

I could not have had a better experience! Everyone from the moment I walked in, taken to the back and left was kind and helpful. I’m big on looking at patients outside of what a textbook says. My daughter has been sick for 3months and I was fed up with her old pediatric office not doing anything. I’m so glad I switched to Howell Pediatrics and Teen Center. I felt heard, understood and I could tell they cared for my daughter’s wellbeing. As a first time mom those three things are important. I’m thankful we have found our new pediatrician. Thank you for caring for my family and making us feel like a priority!

We love this place, everyone we have worked with have been great. The only issue I have is seeing those poor fish in that tank that looks like it has never been cleaned. Someone has to step up and take care of those fish.

I went to the farm and stayed for a little over 3 months. The treatment duration is determined by the therapists. The shortest duration I saw was 2 1/2 months. Longest I saw was 4 months but most do around 90 days. I had moments I really loved the farm, and others where I felt like I hated it. Their rules are really strict and you’re there for a while. However, it did work for me. It was a long journey. I got yelled at for breaking rules, for sleeping in, and absolutely resented waking up early every morning to do work duties. Definitely cried a few times. By day 50 I was like “get me the heck out of here” but had months to go. But every time I got upset, I’d sleep on it and always decided to stay. Now I’m much better. I can wake up for an actual job early without a problem. I have more self control, more friends, more support, I try to follow the rules in real life situations, try to be a good person, and have a much more rewarding life overall. The Farm is really challenging but it does actually work if you listen to them and do what they tell you to do and don’t fight it. It’s hard to follow their schedule and rules every day for so long, but it just might change your life.

This place is great, getting sober is not easy or fun and the only issue I have personally witnessed is that yes; all of thier staff cannot be in recovery or understand us addicts but they truly have made a huge effort to adapt to this new age in which you can get into a rehab basically for free, get decent if not really good food(DFD) and have the chance to.btreak old bad habits etc. Im 39 and when I first tried to get sober at 18 or so it was incredibly difficult to find a rehab that didn't cost 40K. Jail or the streets were your option so remember that these people are getting paid very little yet choose to work here because most of them do care but there are thinhs called HIPPA laws etc and so that takes a toll on certain aspects of how they have to structure thier program. This place and ann arbor will keep you sober and help you recover for better or worse.
