I attended Pride Institute more than once. I struggled with addiction for a very long time before I finally got sober over two year ago. The Director of Clinical Services was kind, caring, dedicated, and supportive. His door was most always open. I would recommend Pride Institute!!

I was run off the road had women and men in my life nowhere to go and they gave me a place to stay. In a little bit of a future going forward but I just didn't know where to go bewildered because no matter what I do I was dead but at least there I get a little chance of a little life that was full to some extent I should have grabbed them more but it didn't know what to do thanks for being there

The Pride Institute is a place of miracles. The healing and recovery that takes place here is life-changing. I cannot speak highly enough, of the dedication of the staff. From counselors to therapists, from the tech staff to the cooks who prepare our daily meal, they are all 100% dedicated to the clients. In addition, the sense of community that is fostered here allow each individual to shine. You find yourself among peers who often have the same struggles that you have had.
You truly find yourself supported, and definitely not alone. If you are serious about getting sober, and have the opportunity to get to the Pride Institute, you should definitely consider this one of your best options.

I recently completed my time at Hazelden Betty Ford, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and welcomed into a community that truly understands the journey to recovery. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and met so many lifelong friends who continue to be an important part of my life.
During my time there, I learned that I can have fun while being sober, which was a huge revelation for me. The program gave me valuable life skills that I will carry with me forever, and the staff helped me get my medications sorted out, which made a world of difference in my day-to-day well-being.

So far my experience with Anne Marie has been TERRIBLE!!!! Early in recovery dealing with disconnection notices and getting back into the work force relying on public transportation in rural Minnesota and trying to find housing is NOT EASY and neither it is an excuse, but I am not sure how she can be kicked out of group after 1 group absence and individual. It is frustrating to work with a provider who calls their clients names during sessions and communicates in a condescending manner. Is this place not trauma informed? I’m so confused as to how I was discharged without being able to speak for myself or to Anne Marie’s supervisor.
UPDATE: Club recovery was ready to listen to my concerns and was quick to offer an efficient solution. I am highly satisfied with the care that I've received at Club Recovery, but amazed at their proficient customer service.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava.
Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy.
If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! The staff is amazing and only wants to help in any way they can. The facility itself is well kept, very clean with a peaceful environment, comfortable and serene. This is the only methadone clinic I have ever been to, but I really like the nurses here and the staff is amazing. I got really sick one morning and they took really good care of me and nobody made a big deal of it. I love Bryant he is a great counselor - very thorough when we meet. Going to dose almost every morning can be a drag but they make it easy.

I've gone to inpatient in Shakopee and outpatient with lodging in Chaska. Both locations the staff is great. Counselors, techs, peer recovery specialists, medical staff, even kitchen staff. All of them truly care about our recovery, and will do everything they can for you. Northstar also has sober housing if you need it after treatment.

I rarely give 5 stars but Esther Yankey is incredible! She gave me hope and she actually helped me! I was seeing a different provider for short term help dealing with a really difficult divorce, over medicated and lack of proper understanding of medication led to a lot more difficulties. Beautiful facility with kind and helpful staff! The housing is set up in a convenient way to focus clients towards recovery. I can't say enough good things about Transformation House. My experience here was a night and day difference from my previous treatment center. My counselor was incredible – so empathetic and understanding, which made it easier to be honest and work through things. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well-being. It's clear they're not just going through the motions.
What I appreciated most was that they focused on helping me find the right path forward, even after I left. The outpatient program they connected me with was fantastic. Today, I'm proud to say I've graduated, I'm in college, I have a job, and most importantly, I have my kids back in my life.
My advice to anyone going to Transformation House is to be honest with yourself and your counselor, and truly commit to the process. Stop making excuses and put in the work – they will meet you where you are and provide the support you need. I also built some strong connections with the other women there. The staff creates a supportive environment, but ultimately, your willingness to change is key. Transformation House truly changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far I've come.
