Current resident here at Auschwitz... Ooopes I meant serenity manor haha pretty easy to confuse the two. Anyway not really a good place to go unless your chill with just existing instead of living life to its fullest. There is no treatment programing or group of any kind so calling it an alcohol treatment is laughable. House full of slobs and thief's who don't really care to clean up after themselves, or just cleaning themselves for that matter. Staffs lazy as all hell with one exception whos just power tripping and condescending like no other. She just runs around being rude and constantly looking for something you've done wrong or haven't done and will unjustly punish with the almighty hand of Zeus. Place is dirty and theres a little hallway to go outside and sure enough there's a stray turd just laying there right in the middle of the floor, and me on my phone unexpectedly steps on it and fell right on top of it, very traumatic experience. All in all I think Auschwitz would be a vacation compared to this poor excuse of a scam business. Ciao

Wow! What a journey. Please take this seriously for those in addition or wanting to recover! I went here during covid season 2020 when I got my DUI. I was regretting it, didn't take it seriously, etc. I did my month time stay there. Went home continued with addiction cause I still didn't care. After mother's day weekend on 05.09.22 was my first day of sobriety. I'm still sober to this day. Let me tell you what, I've had the most fantastic experiences and time of my life sober! Looking back, wish I'd took things seriously. I even got off probation this year in June. I wasn't supposed to get off until November next year 2024. I mean God's work is honestly a blessing and you definitely feel him working thru you. I remember starting out here at this place, they said "higher power" and I'm like naw, I don't got that. Not even my kids. Oh yeah, God is my highest power! This place is amazing! Trust me! Great staff, food, location, etc! Just please get help! It's not worth your life ending on bad terms! I will never go back to that life style. Sobriety is just the coolest 😎 Lord the energy you have, stability, motivation, passion to keep striving and going in life! Yes!! No more laziness! It's just nice! Thank to this place and the DUI was a huge lesson I needed to kick my rear end into gear! Let's keep going! SOBRIETY ROCKS! SOBRIETY IS THE COOLEST 😎

I was actually a resident there back in 2013/2014 and I successfully discharged. I may receive hate for this but anyhow I absolutely love the facility. The life lessons that they teach is just unbelievable. I committed my crime and I did my time. But it could have been way worse. This facility saved my family and I from plenty of what life and the court system can throw at a individual that has serious mental health conditions. I just wanted to say I have been out of the system for 12 years and have been keeping good with the law. For those who think they can't trust me you can!

Honestly when i first came here in 2021 i was scared but i found people and became friends with like ethan from the castle program we were friends but we always fought, joe we fought every time i couldn't keep my mouth shut, and the staff oh my god the stories i could share about them but it was always william, tyler (castle program) , ethan, and Gerrit (vocational rec) i want to reach out to them since I'm now 18 as of march 26. They just had the biggest impact while i was there it was great knowing them in the year i was there so many fun memories

It’s a decent place lots going on always and people coming and going appeared to be clean and the food in cafeteria was absolutely great!! The doctors are mostly new but most are educated and detailed with their patients and never seemed to have issues scheduling appointments. Great job VA Hospital

Everything is done in a timely fashion. I don’t have to call but once to get an appointment, it’s easy to access my therapist and so far the customer service has been great. I like my therapist she’s thoughtful and listens to what I say. She has helped me with sleeping meds, which I really appreciate.

I guessed dosed at this clinic and was very happy with the facility and staff. The clinic seems to be a modern, efficient, and capable facility. I have guessed dosed and been a patient at over 15 clinics, across the U.S., so I have a large amount of clinic experience.. I am an alumni, I am from Anoka so after my terrible experience at (the old) River place in Anoka, I went to Transformation house. 8 actually went there a few times , only completed it one time though. I couldn't tell you today how the program is TBH, but back when Betty was the owner (R.I.P.) and when Brian was the head councilor, and Angel was one of the cooks and Natalie was one of the technicians.... Back than that place really helped me out. They were so patient with me, they gave me the opportunity to get whatever I want out of it. Which really is like most places. Whatever you put into it you will get out of it. I hope and pray that the love and care Betty had for people in recovery lives on through Shiloh Ministries (Transformation house)

Beautiful facility with kind and helpful staff! The housing is set up in a convenient way to focus clients towards recovery. it was awhile ago that i was there but i still miss it. I miss the people and all the friendships i made, the thing is you cant really stay in contact which makes sense. i enjoyed focus at the start of the day and playing gang beasts with the other patients, that was probably my favorite part. on wednesdays we had a dog named Story come in and he is absolutely adorable, i got many pictures with him. The staff are nice and welcoming, my favorites were Joe and Grant, they were very funny. on tuesdays it would be tacos for lunch and Joe would often throw the left over tortillas for us to catch, its a small thing but an amazing memory. Claras House helped me notice that i was in a unhealthy relationship and once i broke up with him ive been so much happier and at peace. overall i think this place is helpful but its completely understandable to be nervous for the first few days, i was but i noticed how sweet the other patients and staff were and i warmed up.

I completed this program back in 2008. Absolutely wonderful doctors, councilors, and staff members. The patients I witnessed coming through those doors, came in broken and really sick from a wide variety of medical issues (mostly addiction related). By the time they left, they were healthy, happier, and had sufficient tools to make a full recovery. I was young and impressionable when I entered their program. The individual care and the loving nature of the staff made the environment warm, comfortable, & safe. I was impressed with how honesty was received there. It was received with open hearts, without fear of judgment or negative criticism. The staff recognized each of us as unique individuals that held great value to society. So many (if not everyone) of us felt worthless and hopeless for the way our culture looks at those who suffer from the progressive and life threatening disease of addiction. Their respect stood out to me and is the primary reason I found the courage to change my life. They also understood the deep suffering that addiction causes and went to any length to help us feel accepted and cared for. The medical professionals employed there taught us how to live a life of gratitude with purpose. To this day I am still eternally grateful for my experience there. I would recommend River Place Counciling Center in Elk River MN to anyone who is seeking to heal and recover. Doesn’t matter from what either. What matters is that you show up. A quick tidbit: I learned all of facts in my journey there. One of them is that our culture is based on materialism and individualism. Which both are the enemies of our soul and the common denominator of our brokenness. It creates division, isolation, and fear. Once I truly understood that, I was never the same. I continued my journey in AA which led to meeting true friends that want the best for me. It also led to a spiritual experience that changed my life forever. There is so much healing, joy, and laughter in recovery, it’s wonderful to experience. I want to tell the person reading this one very important thing —> Don’t you give up. There is a lot of help and happiness in your future. All you have to do is pick up the phone and call them. You’ll find an army of caring and loving souls excited to meet you. You are unique, strong, smart, talented, and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity in your journey of recovery. 🙏🏼❤️ ~Steff P

I had my first appointment with a doctor there last week, and he scheduled for me to come back today because he needs to follow up with me. This morning I get a message in the portal--not even the courtesy of a phone call--that my appointment today is cancelled due to a 'template change,' whatever that means. I called to reschedule and they put me out to Dec 31--five weeks away, when I'm supposed to have a follow up with a week. Either that, or see another new doctor in two weeks. This is the opposite of taking care of patients.

I have had anxiety with MRIs for my whole life. I think today I went to Fairview in Wyoming and Tim was a fantastic radiologist. He was kind he met all my needs. It was the first time that I did not have an anxiety attack. I laid there and listen to the music and it was done quickly.
