I walked these halls 10 years ago. Tim Helmek (I forgot if that’s correct spelling) saved my life with what he taught me. I didn’t stay sober that then but when the time came I knew what to do to stay sober because of him. Just celebrated 7.5 years. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

My last stay at Hazelden Plymouth was about 2.5 years ago, when I was 17. At first, I was nervous and resentful of my parents for sending me there but I’m glad they did. The facility was amazing (and the food was great too). My psychologist, David Wells, was very educated and helped me make real progress. My counselors, Joanne and Denise, were exactly what I needed. I overdosed on fentanyl three times before coming here, and without Hazelden I truly don’t think I’d be alive today. I’m now 2.5 years sober, and the education and support I received at Hazelden continues to help me in other parts of my life. I’m very grateful for my time here and highly recommend Hazelden to anyone who needs help.

Today I celebrate 4 months of sobriety! I couldn’t have done it without the 30 days I spent at the retreat. What an incredible experience I had. Everything from morning meditation each day to the end of the day step 10 inventory. Incredible and supportive staff, guest speakers, daily AA meetings and lots of love. I have implemented so much of what I learned from the Retreat into my daily life and it’s made a huge impact.i can’t say enough great things about The Retreat! I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava.
Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy.
If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! This is the only methadone clinic I have ever been to, but I really like the nurses here and the staff is amazing. I got really sick one morning and they took really good care of me and nobody made a big deal of it. I love Bryant he is a great counselor - very thorough when we meet. Going to dose almost every morning can be a drag but they make it easy.

I’ve had a very good experience with Valhalla Place in Woodbury. One time the building had water damage and I had to wait like 2-3 hours at another clinic to get dosed. But that was a freak thing.
Valhalla has saved my life. I’ve never had an issue there that wasn’t my own doing.
Been coming for like 12 years and I just do not see any of the negatives that people have listed. It’s been only positive for me when I’m on the sober track. I’ve been clean for over 500 days now.

I finished up the year-long DBT class with Madi and Jess as the instructors, and this program really changed my life. I know it sounds corny, but when I came in I couldn't tell you the difference between anger and disgust, but now I can clearly describe my emotions and communicate effectively with people without shutting down or shutting off.
The skills I learned has helped me in my marriage, my job, and improved my relationships with others.
This hidden gem of a class needs a bigger wait list, it's that good.
I would encourage anyone who is struggling, with whatever it may be, to reach out to this place and get engaged in your mental health. You'll thank yourself later.

I can’t say enough good things about Nystrom & Associates and their DBT program. When I started, I was struggling with emotional regulation, relationships, and feeling overwhelmed by daily life. The structure of the DBT program, along with the support from the compassionate and knowledgeable therapists, truly changed my life.
The combination of individual therapy with Madi and skills group with Madi and Jess gave me the tools I needed to navigate stress, set healthy boundaries, and manage my emotions in a more balanced way. I finally feel like I have a roadmap for how to cope in a healthier, more effective way and that’s something I hadn’t found in other therapy settings.
The environment at Nystrom is welcoming and nonjudgmental. I always felt safe to be honest and to grow. If you're on the fence about starting DBT, I highly recommend it here. It's hard work, but it works and I’m so grateful I took that first step.

This place helped me save my life. The education on recovery at Pride is top-notch, the staff is informed and open, the facility is nice enough and they allow vaping now! All that aside the love and inclusiveness I felt there did more for me than anything. For the first time I didn't feel like I had to play a part to be somewhere. That feeling, that sort of love, stays with a person. After you've been accepted for who you are by others it's easier to accept it about yourself. Pride gave me the keys to unlock me.

I can't say enough good things about Transformation House. My experience here was a night and day difference from my previous treatment center. My counselor was incredible – so empathetic and understanding, which made it easier to be honest and work through things. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well-being. It's clear they're not just going through the motions.
What I appreciated most was that they focused on helping me find the right path forward, even after I left. The outpatient program they connected me with was fantastic. Today, I'm proud to say I've graduated, I'm in college, I have a job, and most importantly, I have my kids back in my life.
My advice to anyone going to Transformation House is to be honest with yourself and your counselor, and truly commit to the process. Stop making excuses and put in the work – they will meet you where you are and provide the support you need. I also built some strong connections with the other women there. The staff creates a supportive environment, but ultimately, your willingness to change is key. Transformation House truly changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far I've come.

I love that they had therapy appointments available within 2 days of my call and was also able to schedule another appointment the next week same time. I have been to other clinics like ACP and private practices. It's unheard of to get a therapy session this fast, even my general doctor told me there is a long wait for getting therapy. To me, being there when I really need the help, not 5 weeks out, made all the difference in the world. I had a video session with Tiffany and found her to be very supportive and kind while collecting my first appointment info. This facility and their program is amazing and saved my life. I have been in this program 4 times I believe. This is not because the program was ineffective but because I was battling a lifetime of issues. The staff is like family to me, they genuinely care and they played a huge role in changing my life. I also participated in their aftercare programs PHP/ partial hospitalization program and the step down program from that was the AMHOP/ adult mental health outpatient program. These were also very effective and a key factor in my rehabilitation. After care is so important, although this was stressed when I was completing my treatment plan I did not take advantage of these services the first few times I completed the inpatient program. However after completing both after care programs, I understood the importance and have been able to maintain my mental health and sobriety. Most everyone dealing with addiction knows 9.8/10, we are self medicating dealing with severe underlying mental health issues. So addressing both issues at the same time was definitely what the missing piece to the puzzle. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital Unity Campus! Oh I didn’t mention the food and beds, way better than any other facility I have been to! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. The staff is so warm and welcoming, you will feel right at home! I could go on and on about the many positive attributes, but I won’t. Definitely worth investing your time, you will NOT regret your decision to give it a try!

Went in a mess 16 beers a day extremely thirsty so I drank more beer. I wasn't passing water because my liver was so scarred and imflamed. Thought I would putz and brought projects but they allow nothing inside. Hardly books either because of hiding drugs.
It wasn't long before I was aprt of a group of zombies milling about. Having to go get blood pressure checks etc. I wanted to be alone and meditate. Easy to get used to this carefree life. Most take advantage all agreeable to the BS to stay longer. The walls started to close in and I left after 3 days. I only have GOD to thank. But I needed to know I could not drink and live. Very hard but now I'm not afraid and I don't want so much. You have to decide.. I jonesd for cigarettes more than beer.

I have been in the intensive outpatient treatment program here for several months. I absolutely lucked out on my group. I have received so much support and have learned so much about addiction. I feel like I have gained the tools to maintain long term sobriety. Thank you Lyric!

I've been in 13 treatment center in my life im sober mow and I went to a vinland in lorretto mn I think there owned by the same people I am proud to say after leaving vinland I now have over 15 yrs sober if it wasn't for vinland I would of lost my family ill never be able to repay vinland in lorretto for what they did for me

Music rooms and personal lessons. Bus passes. Personal scheduling. Tobacco cessation. Social and mental health programming. IRTS licensed. Dieticians and cafeteria line style dining all three meals.
