Hi my name is Lamon and I'm a client in pcc and I came into the program thinking (no one will understand me ) But as I got further in the program my thoughts ,feelings and out look on life has changed dramatically, and that's just it if you want help with mental, and chemical issues this is where you suppose to be or come ,they have a awesome staff that really cares about each individual, no matter what kinds of difficulties you are going through they can help, but first you must make the right decision and open up to your counselor and peers and I promise you that you will be ah much better person with ah better look un life ,so I strongly suggest that you pls give pcc a try, I mean why not you tried everything else, Let's do it

I spent a full 90 days at this facility a few years back. Yes, It's an older building but as someone who has SEVERE allergies to everything (look up a condition called MCAS), I never had any issues with mold, bugs or anything while there. and I am really allergic to mold spores. I feel like these negative reviews are just childish. My family and friends were welcomed for visits. YES they do have to leave their phones outside of the facility but for obvious reasons, these rules are in place for a reason.
I will say they made an exception for me within my first 30 days ( it's an expectation that you will not leave the facility without staff in your first 30 days) so I could attend my grandmother's funeral. I was part of the Client committee. I organized workouts and that was encouraged, I ran AA meetings on the weekends and fostered lasting relationships with a lot of the other women there that I still remain friends with today.
Wayside is YES, an older building but it's not THAT old. Plus, if anything goes wrong they get it taken care of as soon as someone can come and fix it.
If anyone has had a bad time at Wayside, it's either you were forced to go to treatment for legal reasons so you have a chip on your shoulder or you\re a prima-donna. There are motels I have stayed at that are 100 times worse than an older building that has normal wear and tear. Which requires maintenance. And they do report and schedule a fix as soon as it's possible for someone to get to the facility.

It’s more then just treatment you learn so many things fundamentally important to life recover and about yourself I have tried a couple others and nothing compared the staff are amazing this is THE BEST treatment center if your serious about getting something good out of it! Thank you wayside you have changed the person I was in many unchangeable ways I’m still not perfect but striving everyday to be better n it’s been 3 years! Keep changing lives you guys are amazing

So far my experience with Anne Marie has been TERRIBLE!!!! Early in recovery dealing with disconnection notices and getting back into the work force relying on public transportation in rural Minnesota and trying to find housing is NOT EASY and neither it is an excuse, but I am not sure how she can be kicked out of group after 1 group absence and individual. It is frustrating to work with a provider who calls their clients names during sessions and communicates in a condescending manner. Is this place not trauma informed? I’m so confused as to how I was discharged without being able to speak for myself or to Anne Marie’s supervisor.
UPDATE: Club recovery was ready to listen to my concerns and was quick to offer an efficient solution. I am highly satisfied with the care that I've received at Club Recovery, but amazed at their proficient customer service.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava.
Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy.
If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! I've been to several treatments and NEVER maintained my recovery until I went here! My family and I will be forever grateful to Park Ave for their dedication to save lives they certainly saved mine!

I can't say enough good things about Transformation House. My experience here was a night and day difference from my previous treatment center. My counselor was incredible – so empathetic and understanding, which made it easier to be honest and work through things. The entire staff genuinely cares about your well-being. It's clear they're not just going through the motions.
What I appreciated most was that they focused on helping me find the right path forward, even after I left. The outpatient program they connected me with was fantastic. Today, I'm proud to say I've graduated, I'm in college, I have a job, and most importantly, I have my kids back in my life.
My advice to anyone going to Transformation House is to be honest with yourself and your counselor, and truly commit to the process. Stop making excuses and put in the work – they will meet you where you are and provide the support you need. I also built some strong connections with the other women there. The staff creates a supportive environment, but ultimately, your willingness to change is key. Transformation House truly changed my life, and I'm incredibly grateful for how far I've come.

I've gone to inpatient in Shakopee and outpatient with lodging in Chaska. Both locations the staff is great. Counselors, techs, peer recovery specialists, medical staff, even kitchen staff. Like any VA facility, this one has many concerns to resolve to provide quality care to veterans. They seem to do their best with less. Personnel and provider shortages are becoming a problem. Some appointments can take several months to be seen. Community care needs to improve in providing referrals for quality care outside the VA and not just those who are the lowest bidders. VA recently denied over $10k in payments to my dental surgeon because they couldn’t get the bill submitted within their 6 month window because the clerks had repeated bouts of COVID. I can no longer maintain continuity of care because of VAs lack of consideration. The dental provider was highly skilled and experienced. Now he refuses any further authorizations from any VA. Today’s visit went very well at the VA for a minor procedure. All staff and providers were delightfully cheerful. That is certainly an improvement. God bless!

The people here are genuine and so welcoming and welcome newcomers with open arms the intake process is super tedious and long and takes 3 to 4 hours but it’s so so so worth it!!!!! no regrets choosing to come here I promise you will feel the same I can’t say one bad thing about this place at all. First I'll say never once did I fail a U/A. They gave a guy with less seniority than me get a housing position and this guy failed numerous tests. Also graduated me will I was looking for housing when they could've gave me the position and I'd probably be gone cause I'd have a place to live in no time at all but they make poor decisions and and! They had an art guy come in and show us how to draw a little bit, this guy had his phone up on the wall recording himself which is illegal it's called HIPPA you can't have any recording devices in that room at all that's what it says honest to God. The guy they gave the position too you know how that ended. I wouldn't send anybody to this place they prey on the people in jail knowing damn well they're gonna relapse in most cases so they keep that re oling door going just so they can stay in business cause if they didn't help the people locked up to get out and do treatment they wouldn't have any clients period. Shady place and INTEGRITY IS HORRIBLE.

I was supposed to be bringing someone for an In person but thought it was a virtual appt. Sophia worked to contact the Psychiatrist PA-C and send a new link so we could do the virtual appt. She had a great tone of voice and she was happy to help.

Their attention to your needs is always focused on, and I feel like their staff is well trained to handle any situation one might struggle with. They are very open to the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, and I didn’t feel ostracized in any way. Each therapist has always been kind, considerate, respectful, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about Nystrom and Associates in Eden Prairie! I've only had two therapy appointments so far, but I'm already looking forward to scheduling my next ones. Heidi Bishop has been absolutely wonderful! She creates a safe and supportive environment that makes it easy to open up about my feelings and experiences. I'm hopeful that our work together will help me navigate the challenges I'm facing.
I also had a Rule 25 assessment with Julien Monroe, and she was fantastic! She was not only sweet but also incredibly efficient with her time. It was clear that she genuinely understood my situation and communicated everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and heard.
I appreciate the variety of services they offer, including my upcoming telehealth appointment with an ARHMS worker. Been to 7 inpatients and countless outpatient treatments. And metro hope has worked for me. Faith based Christ centered. Just graduated 4 days ago. Now I'm currently a house manager and driver here. Would totally recommend this place to anyone that is willing to take the next step forward. Being obedient to Christ and last but not least listen to staff. God created authority. All authority comes from God anyone that rebels/disobeys authority is disobeying God. It's not the program that will change you it's you allowing God to transform you while you're in the program. If you're not ready to stop doing what isn't working you won't be ready to start doing what is working. Be blessed

Love being in this house, makes a person feel at home with added support from others and staff. They are always willing to accommodate for clients to fit what they are needing at that time. Good place to recover, if you are serious about it! Good food, good caring staff, you don't have to pay for anything. Groups are fairly short and a variety of different topics and different staff running the groups. Only 4 days of groups. You can even work while you are there

I am grateful for the opportunities and learning made possible at Pathway House, and grateful I had willingness to take suggestions. Above-and-beyond promptness throughout my entire visit. Not a minute of my time was wasted! Every single staff member I encountered excelled with professionalism, competence, and kindness. I was called back within mere minutes of getting to the clinic for my appointment as a brand new patient. The wait for Dr. Salim was also very brief, so I am very impressed with the schedule management. I was also able to go practically straight from the exam room to the lab. I sat and waited for hardly a minute before I was taken back for my blood draw and other testing. Very pleased to have been helped by a talented phlebotomist as well!
I used to work in a very busy medical practice where long, long waiting times for patients were extremely commonplace. I know the standard I saw for my appointment with Dr. Salim was difficult to achieve and very much hard-earned. Kudos to all the staff here that make it happen. I can't recommend Dr. Salim enough!
