Pride Institute has literally saved my life — more than once.
I’ve been through Pride multiple times, and every time I walk back through those doors, I’m reminded that recovery isn’t linear — but community makes it possible. Pride isn’t perfect. It’s a little messy and sometimes chaotic. It’s also one of the only places I’ve ever felt truly seen as a queer, trans person in recovery.
The staff here care, even when we don’t make it easy. Great counselors as well as a lot of variety for daily groups. I’ve learned how to tell the truth about my story, connect with people who get it, and start rebuilding a life that actually feels like mine. I’ve laughed harder here than almost anywhere else, cried in rooms full of people who understood, and found hope when I didn’t think I would again.
If you’re looking for a luxury rehab, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a place full of flawed, brilliant, queer people trying to heal together—Pride is definitely the place to go.

Pride was such a wonderful treatment center to get my head together. Getting sober is tough but the people that work there are wonderful and understand and do all they can do to help each client.
The clients themselves are always welcoming to everyone and always there to help each other. I couldn't have done it by myself. I love the community that has excepted me. And I am proud to say that Pride will forever be a part of me, my life and my recovery.

I walked these halls 10 years ago. Tim Helmek (I forgot if that’s correct spelling) saved my life with what he taught me. I didn’t stay sober that then but when the time came I knew what to do to stay sober because of him. Just celebrated 7.5 years. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

My last stay at Hazelden Plymouth was about 2.5 years ago, when I was 17. At first, I was nervous and resentful of my parents for sending me there but I’m glad they did. The facility was amazing (and the food was great too). My psychologist, David Wells, was very educated and helped me make real progress. My counselors, Joanne and Denise, were exactly what I needed. I overdosed on fentanyl three times before coming here, and without Hazelden I truly don’t think I’d be alive today. I’m now 2.5 years sober, and the education and support I received at Hazelden continues to help me in other parts of my life. I’m very grateful for my time here and highly recommend Hazelden to anyone who needs help.

I can't say enough good things about Nystrom and Associates in Eden Prairie! I've only had two therapy appointments so far, but I'm already looking forward to scheduling my next ones. Heidi Bishop has been absolutely wonderful! She creates a safe and supportive environment that makes it easy to open up about my feelings and experiences. I'm hopeful that our work together will help me navigate the challenges I'm facing.
I also had a Rule 25 assessment with Julien Monroe, and she was fantastic! She was not only sweet but also incredibly efficient with her time. It was clear that she genuinely understood my situation and communicated everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and heard.
I appreciate the variety of services they offer, including my upcoming telehealth appointment with an ARHMS worker. It's great to have multiple ways to connect, making it convenient to fit therapy into my busy schedule. Plus, having so many resources available in one place makes it easy to manage all my needs and appointments.

Above-and-beyond promptness throughout my entire visit. Not a minute of my time was wasted! Every single staff member I encountered excelled with professionalism, competence, and kindness. I was called back within mere minutes of getting to the clinic for my appointment as a brand new patient. The wait for Dr. Salim was also very brief, so I am very impressed with the schedule management. I was also able to go practically straight from the exam room to the lab. I sat and waited for hardly a minute before I was taken back for my blood draw and other testing. Very pleased to have been helped by a talented phlebotomist as well!
I used to work in a very busy medical practice where long, long waiting times for patients were extremely commonplace. I know the standard I saw for my appointment with Dr. Salim was difficult to achieve and very much hard-earned. Kudos to all the staff here that make it happen. I can't recommend Dr. Salim enough!

I just stopped in, on 4/30/25 @ 340pm. I only needed a blood lab. The front desk confirmed I was there for blood work, I said yes. I sat down, and was immediately called back. The lab Woman, can't remember her name but she was in maroon scrubs, dark longer hair, white, and super nice! My veins are hard to get to often requires many pokes, even by awesome lab techs! She did it so I didn't feel a thing! She said she used a baby needle because of my veins. It was awwwweeessoommee! Though she thought I had urine order , which there is an order, but when I checked in at the front desk, she made no mention of it. My provider and I decided this urine was not needed. So the lab tech will cancel that order. 5 stars for the lab! Sorry that all the other reviews suck on the page. I go to Brooklyn Park or Fridley, for my actual Dr appts. Ooh! Belle Plaine, Minnesota | Mayo Clinic Health System is a network of community based healthcare providers and facilities, including hospitals and clinics, serving Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. One clinic is in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. This clinic offers primary care, family medicine, lab services, and genetic counseling. For clients who need addiction and mental health tre | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve been tested for COVID-19 twice at this Mayo satellite clinic, once on fall 2020 and again today, late May 2021. The clinic was indeed overwhelmed by testing demand the first time. Cars lined the public road out front and the parking lot was full. In spite of this challenge the staff was able to administer my test within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. They were pleasant and very professional. I received my test results electronically (as their publicly available documentation stated I would if the test was negative). The results took approx 24hrs although I was told to expect results in 24-48hrs.
Today I arrived 10 minutes early. The parking lot was only 20% full. When I walked up to the portal to scan the posted QR code as instructed the door opened and a Mayo staffer greeted me by name and invited me in for my test. I didn’t even need to scan the code. As before, the staff member who administered the test was pleasant and efficient. Expectations for test results are still 24-48hrs although I was told that results have been coming in more quickly now that demand for testing has fallen.
My recommendation if you need COVID-19 testing, is to use the Mayo App on your phone or login to your Mayo account through the web portal on your PC. Follow the instructions and you’ll be fine. Please don’t bother the staff with phone calls asking for information about your test that you will receive electronically. Don’t waste their time. They have other patients to tend to. If you’re test results are positive I am told that they will call you with that result and to discuss your treatment options.
I’m very happy with this clinic location.
