My son went there 03/07/2025 and they didn’t test for staph when he had already been on antibiotics for a week they gave him a shot and sent him home. 03/08/2025 he went back because the rocephin shot didn’t do anything but they turned him away. He’s down on his luck right now and doesn’t have a vehicle. So he had someone bring him to the hospital, but they didn’t wait. They dropped him off and left so when they turned him away, he had to leave with his leg like that and he had nobody to bring him home. He was 7 miles away and so he started walking and when he passed the police station I guess they seen him and they went and talked to him and they said they couldn’t let him go. They had to get him to the emergency room at Forest General because his leg was so bad. Needless to say Monday morning, they will be hearing from me. I’m a nurse myself and this is medical malpractice. It should be a crime.. He had called the ambulance to come pick him up. They denied him and said they could not take him to Hattiesburg and Covington County hospital refuse to see him the second time. Actually I think we’re going to let our attorney call Covington County hospital and the ambulance company that denied him service. Just let them explain the reasoning to our attorney. What has United States of America come to in medical care?

Abesolute trash service and yall have 4.4 stars. A whole ass lie. Nurses act like it’s a problem for a patient to show up and actually know what they’re talking about. Not friendly clearly shows disdain for patients and their issues. Night shift of November 19 2024 the only kind and caring people were the blood draw ladies.

I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond. I know that my family member is at the right place getting the treatment and tools that they need to be successful in life. Don't change a thing. May God continue to Bless you in all your future endeavors. Thanks Again. Anthony 🙌🏿♥️

Amazing staff! I cant say enough great things about the methodist's staff! Ive been helping my brother in law through a traumatizing illness. Ultimately ending in an above the knee amputation and the death of my sister. The staff has been amazing! My only complaint is their signage. If you are visiting the facility in Flowwood, do yourself a favor....CALL and ask for directions! Its a large facility with multiple buildings and entrances. The signage needs an improvement!

Really enjoyed Hope, Naomi, and Jim. I went in for anxiety treatment back in 2015. I was in the adolescent program. I didn’t enjoy the intern they had at the time, because he purposely triggered my anxiety to get me to react. He made me have a panic/ anxiety attack to see how I’d react to it. I did not enjoy going to the down range camp either because I was extremely triggered there as well. But overall I enjoyed the experience. Hope was my favorite. I liked the art therapy & being outside. It was a safe place for most of the time. Update: I had to come back and seek treatment again. It was not a bad experience. My only issue is that my eating disorder was not properly addressed or really even acknowledged. But most everyone on the staff was amazing. They were patient with me. They gave me tools I needed in order to cope. I just loved Angela, Chris, Amy, Sherry, and Paula. Art therapy was a good time. Dr. H always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome. Cheryl was truly an amazing nurse that made you feel safe. I appreciated Karen’s insight. Sherry was the least judgmental therapist on staff. I will miss them all.

I came here for treatment a few years ago, suffering with what I consider to be immense anxiety and depression. I had an amazing experience here. All of their therapists handled my case very well. Amy, the art therapist, was truly one of a kind. I have taken some of her skills and used them in my own personal life, to this day. I am a teacher now, and I have taught the kids many coping skills that I learned from here. I still very much appreciate the time that Hope took with me to help me heal from my disordered eating. She went above and beyond during our lunch sessions, which is something I will never forget, and always thank her for. Pamela was my therapist, and I felt like she showed great compassion through her work. There was one therapist here that when I presented my issues, they disregarded them and told the group not to help me. I felt very shameful after that, but I have since forgiven that therapist and hope that it was just a mistake. I will never forget the warm, and safe feeling that I experienced anytime I was around David.Cheryl was a great nurse, I could tell she cared about her patients more than anything. Yancey is an absolute angel, who was willing to work with my financial issues, due to me being a young adult and paying for the program myself.Evan was a very safe person to be around, and I appreciated him greatly also. Overall, I feel like this is for sure a safe place, and if I were to fall back in a dark place, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I attribute this place to saving my best friend's life. She was there for several months. I saw her nearly every day during this time, driving her there and picking her up and I recall her speakingly highly of ALL the therapists as well as the office staff and owners. These folks become like your family. She was particularly fond of Pamela, Hope, Cheryl, and Dr. Jones. The art therapy was a favorite, and the circle time was very healing as she was able to learn that there were people with similar issues as her and that many had much worse problems. The Christian overtones were comforting and restoring. She learned coping skills and things about herself that have allowed her to thrive. Anyone struggling with a mental health issue, trauma, crisis, or addiction would benefit from this place. When your sick and tired of being sick and tired, reach out to this place. They will welcome you and support you from start to finish.

I initially gave this clinic a bad review. I was sick and couldn't get seen. However, once I got through the initial screening (this appointment takes some time). I found them to be extremely competent. And they care. They are a small clinic with few people and limited resources. But, they are VERY thorough. Be patient, they are under the control of VAMC Jackson. We all know how bad Jackson VA is (except our useless congressmen and senators, I suppose). My advice is as follows: 1. Get a clinic appointment. Try to get Dr. Bowling. She will get to the bottom of any medical problem. This lady is tenacious when it comes to her vets! 2.Sign up for myhealthevet. Once you make an account, upgrade to the premium account. It will say you have to send in a form for the premium account. Just call the 800 number and have the service person upgrade it for you. They're very helpful. This will allow you to order health records, check prescriptions, communicate with you're health team. In other words bypass the VA bureaucracy. Sorry for the long post. Hope it helps. August 2023 update. They've run off ALL their doctors! Go to VAMC Biloxi instead.

When I was a patient here I hated it. There was constant fights, the staff was always on their phones and not watching us, they always yelled at us over one persons mistake, when we got sick they made us sleep on the floor in the dayroom, and the food sucked. Someone also got stabbed while I was here. I only liked three of the staff that actually did their jobs and those staff members where Ms.Cassie, Ms.Mona, and Ms.Nikki.

i was here for 8 months. I jus got out on January 16th. kids were horrible there but some of the stuff were also horrible. When they did restraining they had the biggest staff and there are some pretty big staff. on the littlest people. I had a really good therapist and case manager but that's it. Staff will curse at you and tell you how bad you are even if you didn't do anything. My first couple of days there I got into drama and the UC on my hall said my business in front of everyone. Always told me that I tried to "run" her hall all bc I was tryna help other kids out. They put me on 400mg of Seroquel without anyone's permission all bc I couldn't sleep until 9pm and had to go to bed at 7pm. They put me on metformin for "weight loss" which is for diabetes and I DO NOT have diabetes. Explain that? Anyways pls jus keep in mind that some of the kids ur sending here do not need this type of treatment. They need healthy treatment and this is not the way to go!!
