While waiting on my husband, the clinic had an influx of people coming in with various needs. The staff at the window were so patient, understanding and kind to each and every person. I love the Doctor who runs it and talks with you. He really does care. But they have a very high turnover rate. They always have new counselors and dosing nurses. From what I understand, they offer no insurance for their employees and the pay isn’t very good.

I did treatment twice at semo. Once to get clean and once to prevent a relapse. My cooccuring councilor mr virgil and my facilitator saved my life. When leaving treatment my facilitator asked me to check out a specific type of meeting when leaving and the truly taught me how to fight within for my sobriety. Today i am 5 yrs 2 months and 19 days sober 🥰🥰 and i never went to another facility and no relapses! Hadnt they taken me serious during my cry before relapse and let me back in i wouldnt be here today! Semo saved my life!

I was scheduled for a procedure, went in through the ER, the desk clerk was very nice, she had nearly all my paperwork ready. All I had to do was give a copy of my meds and insurance cards for her to copy. I was called back within minutes the nurse was extremely nice. Was put in a room where they took my vitals and explained everything, everyone was knowledgeable and explained every detail of what would take place . I could not have been more pleased with my experience and want to say that everything was very clean, very impressive, I hope if I ever have to go there in the future that I will be as pleased as I was with this visit.

My Son unfortunately had to come to Mcdowel for some mental issues that he had been dealing with. The staff was amazing with working with my son and his mental health. They were able to get him on the right meds and get him on a better path for himself. He was a different kid coming out in a great way. My PCP referred me to the Counseling Center and I was quickly contacted and was sent all my intake paperwork to fill out ahead of time. I was then scheduled with a Therapist within 2 days and met with my new Psychiatrist also. I have Recurrent Major Depressive Disorder with Anxiety along side a history of AUD. The staff is always extremely kind and helpful. They work with your schedule and are available for quick response if needed. I feel the decision to come here has given me real hope in managing my mental state and ultimately my life going forward. I'm very grateful to have the support provided here.

My psychiatrist Dr. Cannon is amazing. She is very detail oriented and my therapist Jennifer came with strong recommendations. I was apprehensive at first because of our ages.
