Today's marks my 4 year sober anniversary and it all started with Seabrook. I went when COVID was everywhere and unfortunately after a week about half of the staff was out due to testing positive. Even with half of the staff gone, the rest of the staff did everything and anything they could to help those who truly accepted it. You're able to see people from all walks of life, different backgrounds and of all ages struggle to find peace within themselves and know you're not alone. The speakers who come are extremely powerful with their raw true stories about addiction BUT also more importantly about how they're recovering and kept fighting for themselves. I had no idea what to expect when I went as it was my first time getting help and even acknowledging I needed it. Going to Seabrook and getting sober was the absolute best thing I ever did for myself. Life can be hard but it's not attacking you personally. Once you start to heal yourself, you see more of the beauty in the world and in people. There's way and I mean way more good people than bad. They want to see you succeed and just be happy. Those people are everywhere and once you clear the fog(drugs) from your mind and body you will find them. You then become those who helped you and you get to help others just by staying sober and showing it can happen. I know you guys will be open once again to help those who need it. I have so much love for all of you and thank you for never giving up on us even when it's hard. I am a recovering alcoholic and today I have 4 years sober. I have a new career, an amazing fiance and my life is just beginning. Never give up and know you're not alone. Zoom meetings are 24/7 and they're tons of communities online. You got this! 😀❤️

I went to this detox and rehab several times and they always accepted me back and let me keep trying to get myself clean a year and a half ago I went to their pemberton campus which is not the best of places but I made due and I’ve been clean a little over 18 months now so I don’t think it’s ever the rehab because I’ve been literally everywhere just has to do with if the persons willing to put in the work to make the best of the place they can get in get as much out of it and not go back out and use so you don’t ever have to be in an uncomfortable place like detox and rehab rehab and detox isn’t supposed to be comfortable and with how a lot of these places are they make it so comfortable people want to keep coming back but this place not only was my counselor great but the techs were great and went above and beyond to make sure that I was fed if I was too sick to get up and go to any meal and made sure I was up for my smoke break I owe Merryville my life because I’d probably be dead if they didn’t get me extensions and set me up for my mat treatment for when I left. Thank you Merryville for helping me get back to where I needed to be I owe you guys big time

I would like to thank the entire staff at the Williamstown location for being there! This experience was very hard for me and even harder to stay and complete. However, I did complete, Thankfully! The CITs, nurses, counselors, administrators, and in the kitchen (good food) were there each and every time I needed to talk to someone. Helping me find peace within that moment. Thank you all! (In no particular order) 😎 Mr E, Jake, Dante, Eboney, Dr. Garcia, Derek, Tay, James, Artavia, Christina, Jazz, Carmen, Tameka, Jodi, June, Juan, Kyrbee, Bri, and the all the rest I missed thank you!!!

This place was and still is a blessing for me. This was my first time in a place like this and it was a very positive experience. I can not say enough positive things about the cit's and Maryville in a whole. I was treated with respect from everyone there. I feel as though they go above and beyond for there clients. They give you all the tools you need to be successful apone leaving and I'm very thankful for that. It is how anything is in life you will only get out of it what you put in to it and that being said I got more than words can say out of it, but that is because I chose to make it that way. I want to thank Maryville and all the cit's / counslers there you guys have saved my life and I will forever be thankful to you all. Big shout out to a few people who deserve honorable mentions as they went above and beyond for me and everyone around them. First is Derek and Tay they work over night and we're always a ray of sunshine when they came in. Mr E is the most down to earth man and super understanding. He is very protective of his clients and it shows in his all around character. Also the cit June bug ( Jesus) he has a great grasp on recovery he helped me in more ways then I can say. Last but far from least is the A team of nurses barb and Julie these two nurses gave me all the respect a man can ask for. Always there to awnser my questions and go over my meds or really anything I ever asked. They definitely are the A team of nurses there.. Thank you all and thank you Maryville you have made me a true believer in recovery and set me up for a positive sober life.. Thank you all!!!

I love Maryville! This is where I got clean from heroin. I was a user for 20 sum years and never thought I would be able to make it a day without it. All you need to want to do is try, go even if it's just for detox. You could always stay longer, just like I did. The counselors there are cool as hell. Thank you Bianca!l Bianca at Maryville Turnersville.. There is so many positive things to say about her as a counselor.. Caring and thoughtful is what first comes to mind. Very thoughtful and caring. Bianca engaged clients to open up and say what’s on their minds, even if they sometimes don’t open up, she seemed to be able to make everyone feel comfortable enough to open up and express how they’re feeling. Very positive feedback. I have heard Bianca give so many clients resources for whatever they need. Thank you much for being apart of my recovery Bianca!! The resources that you have given me and other clients have made us move forward in such a positive way I can’t even put into words of how much gratitude I have for your sessions.

As a husband and now a girl dad, I have to say my experience being with my girls throughout my daughter’s birth here at Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus has been nothing short of incredible. As a former clinician, career firefighter/paramedic - I have to say that I have seen enough to be quite familiar with the medical field - pre and post hospital. I’ve experienced in my time seeing the good and the bad. And I’m not sugar coating this review. Being there with my wife giving birth naturally on the Labor & Delivery unit, to my daughter having to go to the NICU, to being on the postpartum unit…. Every RN and NP has completely put my heightened state of emergent trained thinking at ease… the state of mind that’s exponentially heightened as this process involved my wife and my newly born daughter. Yet these women… these nurses I encountered all were extremely competent, well-trained and with a level of patient care that not only confirms they are in the right position themselves - but gave me complete confidence in them with the care of my family. Caitlyn. Jennifer. On Labor And Delivery Megan. Becca. in the NICU Maria on the Postpartum Unit. Lynn the NP I want to thank you guys personally because you all are stand out Nurses. I truly hope the hospital administration | BayHealth really recognizes the talent, the compassion, the quality of RNs you have here. And while administration may look at it as ‘that’s what we expect’ or ‘this is how it is’ - please understand that the quality of RNs you have in them is not a common elsewhere. I recently moved from Houston, Texas where my wife and I had our twin boys. The medical level of care there with Texas Children’s and OB is recognized and top notch…. What I can say coming through the 5th and 6th floors of this hospital with Labor&Delivery, Postpartum and the NICU….. These nurses rivaled that quality and experience I experienced in nationally ranked and recognized hospitals. Thank you nurses again and I hope this reaches you.

Good evening, I am writing on behalf of the narcotics anonymous meetings that happens on Sundays and Monday nights at 700 east Landis Vineland. My name is Lizzie and I am the group secretary, I have three years of clean time but have been in this meeting for over ten years. I am writing this to whom it may concern in regards to the attendance of the men from the Hendricks house. The men have always come to this meeting and prove to be an asset of our growing community. They are always behaved, participate and it has always produced long term results for them. I have multiple men in my homegroup who were once participants of HH. Their presence is missed and the lively hood of this meeting depends on each individual that comes in and outside of HH. I am kindly asking that the men be allowed to participate as it is a crucial piece to their recovery. I would be more than happy to speak to whomever to make this happen. Thank you so much for your time in this matter.

This is for all the negative reviews Towards the Hendricks house. Those people saying "don't send anyone u care about to that facility. These people are only whining bc when they were there the staff probably didn't let them do whatever they wanted to do, those people had no idea that in order to change you MUST CHANGE!!!!!!!! And as far as them putting people out for whatever reason, I'm pretty sure none of them were children, and last time I checked adults are more than capable of finding their way home. Hendricks House gave me my life back.... You will NEVER get out of u'r current situation with the same thinking that got u there....you are where you are right this very moment from every choice you have made. If you don't like where you are right now then there is only ONE thing to do..... MAKE BETTER CHOICES... Listen to the little voice in u'r head, he/she is NEVER WRONG
