Doctors and nurses here are so so nice. Even the janitors and meal delivery persons asked me how I was doing and if I needed anything. The room is also very well kept, clean and organized. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens. All of the therapists/psychiatrists and tech aids were all so welcoming and caring! Not only for me,but for all the others that we’re suffering from this deadly disease called addiction. Im not going to single out any of the staff because they were ALL WONDERFUL during my time at their facility. I was so scared. You’re greeted at the door, meet with nurses, introduced to staff then to your room. They take the time to understand your needs. Luckily for me my wife left and it was a wake up call. I ended up at enlightened. From detox to main campus my life slowly changed. My mindset and thoughts about myself turned. This place TRULY CARES. They saved my life but what's great is so did I . They made realize that. Lisa , my counselor, I will forever be grateful for. I couldn't of been paired with someone better for me. She never ONCE talked down to me or made me feel less. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. (because I went through that at another place…and I’m a feisty, rebellious performer, who fell all the way to hell through my addiction.) Moving Mountains is an adventure based program. And that's not just "fun." that’s a major part of the treatment…hiking, skiing, ropes course…Healthy risks…Movement. self Mastery. Making something…learning that I can DO things that make me feel better…They teach you how to deal with crap on the deepest levels, to get it out. So like…in my case…there is less to want to escape. Easier to stay sober. Joy…peace…fun. Stress: life. Tools Sobriety doesn't have to be gray and grim. It can light up your brain as much as getting high did. I mean that…kinda literally. Skydiving…for real…if you do the work…it’s part of the program. At completion. It's not a "creative arts program." BUT: creative work is an option. For me it was a key. A Big key. I had no idea how much my creative shutdown and grief were feeding my addiction…really, almost no idea. I am a singer. And I saw people transform through singing (like me…), guitar, piano, making beats, DJing, poetry, dance, voice work...even building comedy routines. You could literally see someone's eyes and posture shift over days. The staff are Actually client centered. At Moving mountains, that means you're treated like a human being. Not a diagnosis and not a compliance project. They help you remember want you want, connect you to your dreams again. They don't “punish you into right thinking.” That’s still a very common approach, I’ve heard from so many people in recovery meetings. But there are boundaries and clear expectations...because that's what actually leads to an easier, fun life. I was not the easiest client. I had to learn to be patient and respectful…not just to others. To myself. It's also not 12 step only preaching club. Super strong recovery culture...but you're allowed to explore what works for you, (there's even a Zen teacher who comes!) The housing is for real beautiful and in beautiful communities. Not "nice for rehab." Actually nice. It's weird to miss rehab. Like a paradox. But I do. My time at Moving Mountains has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. The staff has created a wonderful community atmosphere. The counselors, case managers, therapists and doctors are genuine in their concern for the clients. The groups are very insightful. The counselors do a great job of allowing the clients to participate in order to, not only make the session personal for the client, but also open the floor for other clients to relate. They also do a great job of explaining what addiction is and how it relates to us. Through my recovery journey I have been to a number of treatment programs and facilities both php/iop-residential and have done well at most of them, but Footprints stands out as one of my favorites, by far, and the one I have made the most growth and progress at. I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. If this is your first time coming to treatment, Footprints gets an A++ from me. Its always tough to take that first step, but they do an amazing job of walking with you the rest of the way. Id love to give these guys a 5 but recently I was dropped due to insurance. ( I have medicaid. Which makes me less fortunate then others who pay for there insurance) so after about a year and a half. Outside of that the groups are excellent the facilitators truely care, and the people who are the ones that really make the groups they are great. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.

I went here in 2016 for a surgery. I overall had a good experience with everything and almost everyone. Only negative was a nurse named Darlene in Same Day Surgery. She was so rude when I asked for a simple blanket and all I heard was her big mouth gossiping at the desk. Never forgot it because she was so horrible and mean. What is with nurses with that unprofessional behavior? They cry they're so busy all the time, but they have plenty of time to stand and gossip.

I just passed 90 days and I'm confident that I will stay on my recovery journey. And the food in the dining hall is AMAZING. The entire structure of the program is built to ensure that guests succeed in recovery if they are serious about it. They also do a wonderful job introducing guests to both the AA and NA programs. Listen, I am a total mess most of the time due to my catastrophizing things. I make everything start at worst case scenario hoping it doesn't stay there but unfortunately it sometimes does. Im not going to give you a play by play or some incredible testimony because my story is still going strong but I've come a very long way and I 💯 give my counselor, Susan, alot of credit for sticking by me even bk in the beginning when I would be nasty and childish towards her and ill never forget when she told me that she was just waiting for me to be ready. * full disclosure im a garbage head and at the time I needed rehab terribly. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens.

I don’t know where I would be right now w/out the help I received on my recovery from addiction from all the great people employed at Pinelands Recovery Center. All of the therapists/psychiatrists and tech aids were all so welcoming and caring! Not only for me,but for all the others that we’re suffering from this deadly disease called addiction. This was the first time I went to rehab. I was so scared. You’re greeted at the door, meet with nurses, introduced to staff then to your room. They take the time to understand your needs. i started my behavioral crossroads journey February 18th, 2025; now on February 9th, 2026 i've officially completed their behavoiral/rehab program. every single counselor in the building always made themselves available to me no matter what day, time, or hours of operation. they all took care of me &inspired me in different ways, helpped always without hesitation, were there for me, called me out &praised me when needed. especially Roxanne LaPlant ♡ who never once thought giving up on me was an option, she pushed me to see that i am my greatest self sober, she taught me how to identify &sort through the thoughts &feelings i was drowing out with alcohol &how to stay confortable sitting with those feelings. &never hesitated to call me out on my bullshit. i was so fortunate to be paried with Roxanne &couldnt have made it this far with out her help &encouragement. most importantly Crossroads taught me that the opposite of addiction, is not sobreity, its connection. thank you to EVERYONE i connected with on this crazy ass journey ♡ the first of many baby steps have been taken, &i'm more than hopeful &already greatful for what comes next!

Where do I start? I'm so thankful that I found this place. Over 30 days ago my life was over. I was done. 0 will to do anything or be alive. Luckily for me my wife left and it was a wake up call. I ended up at enlightened. From detox to main campus my life slowly changed. My mindset and thoughts about myself turned. This place TRULY CARES. They saved my life but what's great is so did I . They made realize that. Lisa , my counselor, I will forever be grateful for. I couldn't of been paired with someone better for me. She never ONCE talked down to me or made me feel less. She had heartfelt communication and it made me so comfortable I would of told and trusted her with anything. My sessions were never forced and I looked forward to them which was a huge difference for me. If you need help please reach out to Enlightened. If you go LISTEN AND TRY EVERYTHING. Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

The entire staff is excellent from the front desk, the administrators to all of the Clinical therapists, Medical staff and Case Managers. I'm writing this for the creative person who thinks rehab is gonna be all lectures and coping skills worksheets and compliance training...or new agey feel good enabling BS. (because I went through that at another place…and I’m a feisty, rebellious performer, who fell all the way to hell through my addiction.) Moving Mountains is an adventure based program. And that's not just "fun." that’s a major part of the treatment…hiking, skiing, ropes course…Healthy risks…Movement. self Mastery. Making something…learning that I can DO things that make me feel better…They teach you how to deal with crap on the deepest levels, to get it out. So like…in my case…there is less to want to escape. Easier to stay sober. Joy…peace…fun. Stress: life. Tools Sobriety doesn't have to be gray and grim. It can light up your brain as much as getting high did. I mean that…kinda literally. Skydiving…for real…if you do the work…it’s part of the program. At completion. It's not a "creative arts program." BUT: creative work is an option. For me it was a key. A Big key. I had no idea how much my creative shutdown and grief were feeding my addiction…really, almost no idea. I am a singer. And I saw people transform through singing (like me…), guitar, piano, making beats, DJing, poetry, dance, voice work...even building comedy routines. You could literally see someone's eyes and posture shift over days. The staff are Actually client centered. At Moving mountains, that means you're treated like a human being. Not a diagnosis and not a compliance project. They help you remember want you want, connect you to your dreams again. They don't “punish you into right thinking.” That’s still a very common approach, I’ve heard from so many people in recovery meetings. But there are boundaries and clear expectations...because that's what actually leads to an easier, fun life. I was not the easiest client. I had to learn to be patient and respectful…not just to others. To myself. It's also not 12 step only preaching club. Super strong recovery culture...but you're allowed to explore what works for you, (there's even a Zen teacher who comes!) The housing is for real beautiful and in beautiful communities. Not "nice for rehab." Actually nice. It's weird to miss rehab. Like a paradox. But I do. My time at Moving Mountains has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

This is honestly the only place that has ever made me feel safe and secure. Val is the best house manager and i had to move to legacy for 30 days before going back to sobriety solutions and i can’t pray everyday enough for the time to just go by so i can go back to this program and house. I love this place more than anything and i couldn’t imagine being happier at a place, i hate that things worked out the way they did for the time being but im really pushing through the hell of this just to get back there & not let people affect me or make me uncomfortable because that’s nothing compared to Val’s treatment & the way they really support you there. I didn’t even expect to be going to a sober house because you rarely find any that truly care but this one so does. i wouldn’t recommend any other but just stay in your own lane & you can’t really do social media there, that was so i misunderstood & i don’t want anyone else to run into that communication process the way i did. Mike the CEO is also very understanding & he has mercy on the clients there. i can barely wait to get back there🙏🏽life saver place

Awesome place if you want to get sober and are serious about it. Haley who works at the front desk is the most sweetest, helpful, caring staff member I've ever had the pleasure of working with in regards to my sobriety and staff at a facility. She is always open and honest l. She's never guided me in the wrong direction. Honestly she works so hard in taking care of us clients and what we need that sometimes it feels like I'm not doing enough for my own recovery. If you're nervous about taking the next step in your recovery as I was never have been to a PHP before. She makes sure that it's a smooth transition. Honestly the only way you could think Haley or the rest of the staff isn't doing enough for you is if you're so lazy and aren't really serious about your recovery that you just expect everyone to do everything for you. I. That case you may need a higher level of care. Because I've never been so excited and felt like I had the help I need in my recovery as I do in sober solutions and working with Haley. The amount of hard work she puts in for us clients and her job is what I strive for in my recovery.

Their treatment was amazing, and specifically my councilor at the time, Taylor Zazulka, was extremely helpful, supportive, and crucial to helping me find continuing treatment after PHP/IOP. I highly recommend Freehold HighFocus treatment center to anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or just looking for a higher level of treatment solely therapy does not provide.

I went to this place back in 2024, and this place was awesome. We got to do a bunch of therapeutic activities that were so helpful, and the staff were also really kind, friendly, and understanding. This place is amazing for someone struggling with a mental illness, at the time, I had depression, and this Mental Health Service helped me a lot. If I do have anything going on with life, this is the place I would go to.
